Reckon you could make the Burnley board regret their decision, (especially if you return to manage a rival!)

Kkeep up the good work buddy!

I plan to take Rimini to the Serie A and keep them there, then I am willing to consider any available jobs.

Sorry for lack of match reports but I wrote them and then accidently clicked off the page and I cannot be arsed to re write them, poor play I know but its my story ;)

Match reports shall return though.

Rimini Manager Rudolf Martinez announced his delighted at Rimini's revival, he said "It is good to see us playing well, we certainly went through a rough patch during the middle of our first 10 games, it is good to remain in the title race, we must hope that form continues to be maintained in this way, I am also delighted with the last few performances, we have shown great character and mental strength by getting points away from home which is always hard is such a tight division, I hope that we cam maintain this standard of form and results for the latter part of the season".

Attainment is the Target

Thierno Bah's third goal of the season gave Rimini all three points as they moved up one place to third, Rimini also went four games un beaten, Bah goal was simple after great build up play from the Biancossi, Cremonese rarely threatened and it the end, the Rimini fans went home satisfied.

Vincenza 1 - 1 Rimini

AlbinoLeffe 4 - 2 Rimini
Forestieri (2)
Ever had a game when you come up against an amazing player, well Rimini found one today, Francesco Ruopolo bullied and harried the Rimini defence into submission as he scored four fantastic goals, he completed his hatrick in 22 minutes as Jorge Garcia and Faccioli played tehre worst games for Rimini, Garcia substitute De Laet could do no better as he came on in the second half, the only consolation was Forestieri's brace with a goal in either half, it was a grim day for the Rimini defence though.

After the game with AlbinoLeffe, Rimini Manager Rudolf Martinez commented on Ruopolo peformance by saying "He is a player of sheer determination and quality, his finishing was precise and his goals were eye openeners, I know two were penalties but it is one of the finest performances from a second tier striker I have ever seen, I wish I could have a player of his skill and technique at my club, I am surprised he isn't playing in the Serie A".

Rimini drop to 5th in the table after there 14th game of the season.

Unlucky in defeat but will make you stronger, and are you planting the seeds there for a possible signing by praising Ruopolo lol

Shhhh, his value is under a million though, he's better than anything I got, we'll wait until the ended of the season though Danny, don't tell anyone I posted this though buddie, can't have the story being leaked ;)

I was thinking bout telling the Italian FA tapping up frowned upon, of course it could all go away if you were shall we say 'kind' to me ;)

I'm not kind, I'm ruthless, you have to be in Management, I am making my centre backs train in the reserves this week after an abysmal performance :)

**** the Italian FA, they have the Co-Ownership rule which really grinds my gears, anyway, I am tired, good night ;)

Rimini face Serie B leaders Lecce in there next fixture, the Biancorossi will face a tough test against the recently Luigi De Canio's side, both De Canio and Martinez boast experience in England with Bunley and QPR respectively. Rimini win over Lecce leaves them in 5th place, four points off top spot, the Biancorossi Manager Rudolf Martinez said "I am pleased with the performance the lads put into today but especially with Henrico Drost, he is not used to the defensive midfielder role but slotted in nicely, it gives Pinzi some welcome competition, of course, the press did not expect us to win but I have every faith in the team, I believe we can match anyone in this League whether it is away or at home".

Peterlin on the Move

Rimini's American midfielder Anton Peterlin is on his way out of the Romeo Neri after it was believed that the club accepted bids of around 100k from a number of Danish clubs, the midfielder has failed to make an appearance this season and hasn't settle in a much as he'd like, many Rimini fans will be glad to see the back of him. In the second half, both sides struggled to find goals and found more yellow cards but the eventual winning goal came from Cesena striker Marco Tattini which secured all three points for the home side.

Away Daze

Empoli 3 - 0 Rimini
Rudolf Martinez's team continued there poor form away from home, despite having the best home form in the League, the Biancorossi still struggle away from home, it is largely reckoned that in order to push for the title, Rimini will need to find some away form in the second half of the season, Adrian Pit opened the scoring for Empoli and the lead was doubled by striker Eder, Empoli confirmed the win with a second half strike from Nicola Poli.

Rimini 3 - 3 Ascoli

Ivan Pelizzoli
An 30 year old keeper signed for 600k from Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow, will replace Matteo Gianello in goal. Pelizzoli boasts two caps for the Italian national side.

Adrian Ricchiuti
An technically gifted Argentine in the Catania reserves, joins club on a loan until the end of the season, will offer a contract if he turns out good, can play in AMC or ML.

Brought in on loan from the Everton reserves, fill in for the injured strikers, move may be made permanent if he performs well.

Also joining the club is Aiman Napoli and Mazzarani on loan from Inter and Udinese respectively.

Nice signings there Jack, reckon Ricchiuti and Jutkiewicz will help with the push for promotion in the second half of the season.

Good stuff mate! What position do you need to finish to get in the playoffs!

pellizoli is no bad keeper, good signings, and get bobby zamora in lol

Some solid signings there Jack, I'm sure you can push on in the remainder of the season and with a bit of luck reach that promotion place.

Yeah, I just need to sort out the away form, looks very poor at the moment, Im may change the tactic from attacking to defensive away from home and see if I get any results, thank for the support guys ;)

This story thread is very good Jack.

Keep up the good work. :D

Idrissou Out

Cameroon Striker Mohamadou Idrissou has left Rimini for Padova in a fee believed to be in the £1.3 Million, it was largely believed that the striker failed to settle in the area after joining the club in the summer of 2010. Idrissou made 10 league appearances for the Biancorossi and scored three goals, the striker also got three assists in his short spell at the club.

Rimini 4 – 2 Padova
Faccioli (2), Destro, Napoli
Rimini came from behind twice to win this game at the Romeo Neri stadium, Renzetti put Padova ahead early on but Argentine centre half Faccioli equalised from debutant Ricchuiti’s corner, Padova reacted quickly and once again went ahead through striker Soncin after an error from Rimini full back Jan Vermeulen. Vermeulen was subsequently substituted at half time and on loan Mazzarani came on, as a result, inspired by Martinez’s words at half time, Rimini equalised after Destro was brought down in the box, the striker then scored it himself, Rimini carried on and once again, Faccioli nodded in from another good delivery from Ricchuiti. Late substitute and debutant Aiman Napoli secured victory with a neat finish inside the box.

Rimini 4 – 0 Salernitana
Napoli (2), Destro, Bah
After scoring in Rimini’s last game, Napoli was given his first senior start for the club and reacted well by scoring a brace. However, it was Destro who put Rimini in the lead after him and Bah had to early goals ruled out for offside, the young striker linked up well with Napoli to hammer home just inside the box. The lead was doubled when Thierno Bah tapped in Lewis Young’s cross at the far post in the second half, with the Salernitana defence tiring, Aiman Napoli took advantage, first with a fine goal from open play and then four minutes later, Destro was brought down in the box and Napoli coolly stepped up to convert for his third goal in two games.

It is largely believe that Rimini have offered a contract to former CSKA Samba star Daniel Carvalho, the Brazilian left the club after his contract wasn’t renewed in January and it is believed that Rimini are very keen on the attacking midfielder.

Rimini have also secured the signings of Lazio midfielder Lucas Correa and Livorno full back Davide Marchini who will join the club on July 1st.
