With the likes of Forestieri and Destro inelgible to the play, the likes of Stevanovic and Idrissou stepped in, a proffessnial performance from Rimini was enough to see them past lower league oppositon, Idrissou put them ahead with a powerful effort early on and then a deflected free kick from Bah in the second half was enough to seal the victory.
Cameroon striker Idrissou today told the Rimini Daily Press that he in unable to settle into the area and is having problems adjusting to the new culture, Rimini Manager Rudolf Martinez said "Change is something we all struggle with, even I have had to adapt to this new country and new culture, I hope Idrissou keeps his mind on the job because I certainly, he is key to how well we do this season".

Rimini took an early lead as two Serie B sides clashed together, Taarabt cross was forced over the line by Grosseto player Kucera to give Rimini a one nil lead, the lead was increased when Idrissou got his second goal in two games with a powerful effort, Rimini firmly in control at half time, Grosetto came out fighting in the second half and pulled one back through Carl Valeri, they then equalised when Valeri free kick was nodded in by Thomas Job. The game was taken to extra time where Grosetto went 3-2 ahead, Taarabt equalised however and then set up substitute Zarate to score the winner.
Rimini have drawn Fiorentina in the next round of the Italian Cup.

Once again, Rimini went into half time with a 2 nil advantage, De Laet set up Ortega to hammer home the first, Forestieri then made it to with a fantastic header from Bah's cross. Padova pulled one back after the break through Timi Lahiti but substitute and Captain Zarate came off the bench two score two goals in quick succession and ultimately seal the win for Rimini.
Rudolf Martinez has expressed his delight at Rimini fantastic start to the season, he said "I am very pleased with the performances over the past week, we played in the Italian Cup on Wednesday so I had to shuffle the pack for today's games and deal with injuries, I am excited about our draw with Firentina as we will be able to test ourselves against some quality opposition. I hope to have some players back from injury soon".
