watched milk the other night, was a great film - one of the best ive seen in a while

yeah i just thought it was something a bit different, and the story was good. penn was awesome - i think its just rare for me to find a film i dont get bored with or find disappointing so when i enjoy one i think its good.

also watched defiance last week which was really good too - very entertaining. both based on true stories too which might not be a coincidence

Went to see Bolt in 3d with the gf tonight and was really surprised at how good it was. Best Disney film in ages and alot of laughs for the kid inside you. 8/10

Finally watched The Mist the other night,i didn't think id enjoy it but i did,i thought it was excellent if fact.A really clever ending too. 8 out of 10 for me.

Watchmen is out soon. Really hope it's as true to the graphic novel as the trailers seem to make it out to be. Manchester has the huge Imax cinema too - they were showing the first Watchmen trailer before dark knight - so I might be spending some time there again :D

Francis I think you'll find this a forum for Movies & Television.

Watched Revolutionary Road with Leo Di Caprio and Kate Winslett last night.

Snorefest. 4/10.

Has anyone seen a serial killer film called Anamorph? William Defoe is in it.I'm interested to know what its like before i shell out on it.;)

Certain. The film doesn't appear to have a middle. It starts, introduces the characters, they all have *** for 6 seconds (literally two pumps and a squirt) then it ends (won't say in case people want to watch it for some reason).

gran torino.
i have just seen this film and i was surprised by it.i won't spoil the story but i do recommend you see it.very funny in places and some of the things eastwood's character says will have you doubled up.
storyline is excellent.pity it was released to late for the oscars as i can see this becoming a classic.
if it's eastwood last film as an actor he goes out at the very top.

if your after a dvd set id get the shield.7 seasons of crooked cops, cops with problems and some very violent scenes.like the time a dealer gets his face pressed onto a hot cooker ring and you see the ring lift off the cooker as he tries to get off it.
all good stuff

Is it a Dirty Harry film?

Watched Frailty with Bill Paxton and Matthew Mccauneghey or w/e

Quality film. Twist is rather predictable though.

Def reccomend it.

Also the Boy in the striped pjamas .. kinda ****** in a way
