Watched the simpsons the movie a few hours ago it was on tv, still as good as the first time i watched it:) 8/10.
Me too,did they cut Arnold Schwarzenegger from the film? dont recall seeing him.

I disagree with you though, its worse than when i first seen it.The whole film just annoys me now. Simpson's beyond season 7 is not worth watching,Homer is now a total ******. 6\10 at best

I was wondering the same thing when i was watching it i didnt notice Arnold's accent lol so yes i think they did cut him. i thought it was ok had a few laughs especially the chainshaw bit! agreed on the homer big tho.

I enjoyed the film but wouldn't say it was any better than just a long Simpsons episode...which aren't great anymore.

Watched couple's retreat the other night - wasn't even forced upon me - and it was garbage.

Re-watched Zombieland and still think it's OK but not great.

Yes Man - 6/10
Crank 2: High Voltage - 7/10
The Boondock Saints - 6/10
Body Count - 7/10

Just watched Jumper, wasnt great but fairly good was expecting alot more tho due to the title 'Jumper' sounds awesome but was a let down to me. The film at first started quite well but it kept fading from the ponit where he get older etc. The romance in it was ok but the acting were awful and h lord Samuel L Jackson with white hair really ruined it:(. Wanted to know a awful lot more information about the Jumpers and Paladins aswell the ending was rushed aswell. 7.10

Ok something to watch to pass time.

Watched a few films recently...

Avatar- really enjoyed the film. The 3D worlds were by far the best thing about it- totally amazing. For some reason though, the story really reminded me of Pocahontas!

Sherlock Holmes
- I went to see it expecting to be disappointed but thought it was a cracking film

Paranormal Activity- DOGSHITE! Was hoping to be scared by it, but I've seen scarier episodes of Scooby Doo! just reminded me totally of Most Haunted. I was half-expecting Derek Acorah to pop up at some points

recently torn my medial ligament in my knee so I'm a wee bit restricted going places on my crutches with the snow and ice, but when it clears I'm hoping to watch The Road and The Book Of Eli. Both look pretty interesting

Just watched Slumdog again, brilliant film.

Watched a few recently, here's the ol' reviews;

Firstly the Rambo quadrilogy;

First Blood: First film is when he is not long back from Vietnam, gets slagged off my protestors when he gets back. While later he goes looking for an old mate from the same 'team'. Finds out he has died so starts to walk back home. Ends up getting picked up by the Police, who thinks he will be trouble so tried to drive him out the town. Rambo gets out the car and tries to walk back, is arrested then batters all the police and runs into the woods. The rest of the film is a war between them and him.

Good film, probably the best out of the 4 as its the original. 7.5/10.

First Blood Part II: Second film, is in prison because of what happened in part I. His old colonel turns up (is in first film also) and asks him to take part in a mission to rescue PoWs left in Vietnam. He accepts and goes. So off Rambo goes to rescue them but then there is people he is working for who are dodgy and when Rambo finds a PoW they leave him in the jungle to cover it up....so then it's Rambo vs the Vietnamese and then the dodgy US cops.

Decent watch, 6.5/10.

Rambo III: Third film, worst of the lot for me. The colonel is back and asks Rambo to take part in a mission in Afghanistan (during their war with the Soviets). He says no and then the Colonel is captured so Rambo has to free him.

Paid least attention to this one, it's not as gripping and just not as good 5/10.

Rambo IIII: Fourth film, released in '08. Not sure what the overall feeling is about this one, but I liked it and would put it 2nd out of the 4. Rambo is living in Thailand and is asked by a group of church people to take them into war-torn Burma. He does, eventually (killing a few pirates on the way) then leaves them to it and sails home. Few weeks later the chuch priest comes to Rambo saying they have lost contact with them...and he has hired mercenaries to go rescue them....so he wants Rambo to take them. Which he does...the mercenaries want Rambo to wait with the boat but that's not his thing....

Good watch, very violent. 7/10.

Reet now they are out of the way;

Paul Blart Mall Cop: Seen it before, and should have known better. Woeful, one 'lol' at best. 4/10.

Have you heard about the Morgans?: Yes, but I wish I hadn't, 3/10.

I have been lazy for a few weeks now, and as i had no internet i watched alot of films,

Green Street 8/10
A great film, i know alot of people think its stupid or pointless, but it really shows how bad it can get in that kind of life

Football Factory 9/10
The thing that makes this better than Green street is that it looks into the Awful lifestyle and the thuggish friends these people have

Everything Is illuminated 10/10
Absolute brilliant, i really recommend it, its about a jewish american who collects family history items, he goes to east europe to find out who saved his grandad in world war 2, a shocking secret about the towns history is revealed, it shows the pure evil of the nazis and the scum germany were in this time period

Enemy at the gates 6/10
reason its so low as i think Jude Law is a tool, never forgive him for cheating on sienna miller who is sooooo fit, anyway enough about that it was a good film, really just follows the life of a sniper in world war 2, its about stalingrad which was a turning point in history twice, in world war 2 and the french revolution, pfft imagine france ruling the world, not fun at all

Frankie Boyle Live 8/10
Very funny, its not really a film but it counts i guess, hes very funny and is evil, my personally favourite is this joke
" Did anyone see Amy Winehouse in the paper this week? ******* **** man, she looks like a campaign poster for neglected horses" i was laughing for hours, i will never forget that

Saving private ryan 10/10

Green Street 8/10 ? you obviously are easily pleased, one of the worst films ever, then you gave Enemy at the gate 6/10 :O and to top it off Frankie Boyle live 8/10 which is ok but its never been a film oO)

I cant see you replacing Johnathan Woss on his film review show.

Watched Day Breakers last night. Started off with promise but got stupid at the end 5/10

Watched a few films last night:

Wrong Turn 3. The first was good, the 2nd was no where near as good and this was worse still 5\10

The taking of Pelham 123. I quite enjoyed this,Denzel Washington was as cool as ever but Travolta stole the show for me,he's so much a better actor when he plays a bad guy. 8\10

District 9: Really enjoyed it,quite a funny film in places but also quite ironic how the Aliens are treated much like the blacks where back in the bad old days of apartheid in South Africa. 8.5\10

Did u think Travolta was good in Pelham 123? he was the one main thing about the film that annoyed me, he was overly fidgety and just generally poor (and I like alot of his work, i.e. Face Off, Pulp Fiction, etc!). Also, thought the flow of the film wasn't great... it seems to go too fast, like they don't give scenes a chance, but at the same time it felt as if nothing happened until about 30 minutes from the end.

Distrcit-9 is a great film! Really enjoyed it! I agree that it does have a sense of humour to it as well. Is it just me or does that Wickus bloke sound like a scouser when he says '****'?! lol

Went to watch Up In The Air on sunday, good, very watchable film. Nothing overly special, but definately worth the watch.

Hi all.
I am eagerly waiting for Iron man 2,office,geand theft auto and many more.

Watched Resevoir Dogs the other day and it was great, very gory though. Training Day w/ Denzel is good too as Denzel is as beast as ever

Watched the Hangover recently and it was funny as ****

I watched it quite recently too, considering all the fapping people did over it I was expecting at least one big laugh. A few half decent laughs but there's no chance of me ever wanting too watch this film ever again.

last film i watched was Howl's Moving Castle. <3 I love that film, Calcifer and Sophie are my favourite characters.
