I'd argue that at the moment, this is very much running before you can walk. Might be easier to assess after the tournament has actually finished.

I'm with the Fish here. By all means think about it but you cant make concrete plans now for what may or may not happen in the future.

Wait & see how this plays out & go from there. :)

Yea you guys are right just wanted to see what you guys thought while waiting for Taskers and Born to play their match. Can't wait for round 2 to start already :p

Yeah, I'm getting itchy feet as well. My Ashes match against Craig has only made me want to play more! :P

We both have games to look forward to, as in my group Yiliang surprised us with a close result against Lewie, and you definitely need to beat Craig to have qualify. Actually, a win for you would almost guarantee you a spot, right? Will be hard earned, Craig's a great player :)

Yeah, I believe if I beat Craig the worst I can do is finish second but that's putting the horse before the cart. First I have to actually beat him :S

Hmm Idk one leg doesn't really sound like enough of a chance... any qualifying fixture would have at least two legs in it for sure. And, as Brendn said, not everybody will want to play with the same team, so why not let them play with whatever team they want, and if they have any sense, they'll pick the best team that they play the best with :)

A Best of 5? Opponents are drawn at random, First to 3 qualifies.
You're still being given a chance to get through but it's not complicated and can be done relatively quickly.


Edit: Didn't realize the conversation moved on. I'm just spitting out ideas :P

Yes sorry for the wait, Born and I have actually scheduled to play the game tonight if all goes to plan.
 
My friggin' laptop died last night. So now I've got to re-edit everything, and gotta re-invent my tactics as well >_< Sucks!!!

If that's the case I'll put up previews and reviews right after their match, and then round 2 can start tomorrow :)

Do I create my tactics for my team in versus mode or beforehand in the career mode I create

Oh yeh. I am participating in like 3 tournaments...keep forgetting who I'm facing in which tournament haha.

Good luck guys can't wait to see what happens; after the results, give me about 30-45 minutes to type up a round review and round 2 preview, and then once the clock strikes midnight GMT, round 2 begins :)
