It's probably more related to improved match fitness?
Which is why this happens very rarely IRL too.Especially if you substitute 3 people before the 60th minute, god help you!

There isn't. It's an old myth. The lower a player's condition, the more likely he is to get an injury. It's obvious then, that there's an increased chance of an injury when the players are tiring at the end of a game.Well yes, but I feel that there is a trigger in the game to the effect that 3 substitutions=injury. Which is very annoying.
So far, no-one has been able to prove that there's anything wrong with injuries in general or in a match. Nothing will be changed as things stand.Actually I ve been maintaining for years now that everything which looks ridiculous in the ME is the game's way of translating wrong tactics into graphics so Ive got no problem with that (Ive even managed to minimise crosses and goals from them). But match injuries are doing me head in!

I know, which is why I'm surprised that you're saying it!Mate, you should know me well enough by now to know that I know there isnt!
But if I play a rested fully fit and fully match fit XI then:
(a) Facing the situation that I mentioned is ridiculous.
(b) 90% of the time that I have 3 early subs I get at least an extra injury. Thats also ridiculous.
I really wish I wouldn't get the same question about why I've 'dropped my keeper' every time there's a cup game, as if it's not what everyone does for cup ties against teams from 3 tiers below you.
