what team are you using? I always finished top 3 in least goals conceded with this tactic. My D always played well even with just average to above average defenders.

I play second season in AC Milan. My defence: lopez - santon, banega, astori(ogbonna), de sciglio..

well my CB just got sent off and i don't fancy playing with 1 CB at the back so i took off 1 off the strikers.

I rarely ever get red cards. so, never had to worry about that. And when I did, even losing a CB, I never had an issue just keeping the formation with 1 man down. Never suffered a loss due to a red card.

Sometimes with certain tactics, you just have to get the right players and that even quality players will do poorly in certain tactics.

With this tactic you can switch to 3 at the back if you get 1 sent off i always have 2 CB's on the bench and both my wing backs can play in the centre so you play a 3 - 3 - 3 it seems to work for me and it's what i resort to when i am a man down.

Sturridge plays on the left attack the bolatelli in the center?

NO!!!! Sturridge in the middle. The TM is your main guy. I got sturridge to Score 60+ consistently there.

As for the F9 and Treq spots, you can rototate your other strikers to see who does best where. I believe I had Balotelli at the F9 but I forgot. I also training Sterling to be a striker. so, my starting 3 were Balotelli, Sturridge and Sterling.

No i didn't i just trained him on strength only i believe the Target Man doesn't really need to be an out and out target man he is just the goal scoring threat, i always train the people in that role high on strength and it's worked out for me.

It's a funny one really his top role's are Poacher, Advanced Forward and Complete Forward i believe any striker can work as long as he has got strength and finishing.

I would advise on training the role's when you start off using it but for some positions it's not necessary.

The questions on Livepool USMNT can take care of because he done i think 4 seasons with them with very good success straight from the bat.

Ya, for youngsters, I train for the roles so that it will mold them to being that particular type of player. but then once they have become well developed, but yet still on the youngish side and room for improvement, then I focus in on specifics.

Andy ya, Sturridge reccomended positions/roles does not include TM, but yet he is insanely good at the TM role in this tactic

I'm temped to give Spurs a go. When i get Jovic to breaking the Italian record i will fire one up.

I am either going to do a Vanarama N/S save or Real Madrid and see how Ronaldo does in this tactic.

I'll test Cyrils tweak with Spurs over the next few days. Hopefully Kane will do well, with Lamela in the Depay role and bringing in Rotariu. Thinking of going with Romero in the cm spot with Will Hughes maybe AP?

Can Romero play anywhere across that midfield 3? What exactly should I be looking for In the 3 midfield players?

Edit: Also are defensive or offensive attributes most important for the full backs? As I will have to bring in a RB due to Walker's injury. How important is pace for the CB's?

Lucas Romero is very very good for this tactic cause he can play both role's at a very high level the BWM and the CM Auto position.

The AP position you want somebody like Tielemans, Will Hughes should be fine there for the time being but there is better out there Kaptoum from Barca is also another good one. This guy will rack up the key passes he is the main cog in the team so make sure it's somebody with high passing and high vision.

For Wing backs i would say more of an all round player there De Sciglio Gino Peruzzi players like that.

I make a constant rotation of the team, team A plays the home games and team B plays away games. If always play with the best team, it might be possible to have better results.

Ya, but on a goal per game basis, you best guy is at 1.34, which is Sturridge. You had him doing that with more rest. I played Sturridge every BPL game and he scored 66 goals. So, 1.74 goals a game. I rotate my players too, just not my strikers and not within the league. I will rest players during cup matches and beginning stages of the CL.

Thanks for the quick reply, I actually meant Hughes in the automatic position. For the Wing backs I'm happy with Davies, and Walker should do for the time being. I was thinking something along the lines of:

Rotariu Kane Lamela

Romero Tielemans Hughes

Davies Vertonghen Fazio Walker

Lloris

My issue is i don't rotate enough i feel, i don't know why that is i guess every player of this game is different.

One thing that is ******* me off in my current game is Pogba is a great player but such a whiny ***** he just doesn't stop complaining and we are on a role i can never keep the guy happy.

I would personally change Fazio and Walker but that's just me.

I see Will Hughes as more of the AP position but you have Tielemans who is probably the best player you are gonna get there. Gaston Gil Romero is extremely cheap in this game for the quality you get back. He can play the BWM and have Lucas Romero in the CM Auto and have Will Hughes as backup and try him out see what works. I think i payed 3.5 million for Gil Romero who has been world class to be fair.
