Probably because the 3D sends the fans on his Macbook Pro crazy (and mine). I don't know if it's just a Mac issue but it gets particularly hot and loud. Way more so than if I play a more graphics intensive game. I've got high specs and 5* 3D rating but it still struggles a bit. Mac OS and games don't always mix well.
