PPM's are the prefered solutions or the vision if you like, that molds the players movement and decissions.
Many PPM's require good decissionmaking and or other skills to properly work, but the easy ones is quite straight forward.
For instance on this tactic you want the fullbacks to be the widest and have space to cross, but also pass options avaible right? so if the MR(or ML) has PPM stay wide/sniff the byline/Camp the cornerflag or similare he wopuld be counterproductive in his possition as he will crowd space and draw defender towards the area you want the fulback to be in. So say for MR/ML the best PPM sould be as for IF, to cut inside from wing(s). the FB also should have PPM "Get forward whenever possible"
another example is having the DLP be completely vacinated against beeing the playmaker.
BAD PPM would be for instance "plays short simple passes" (unless you have low league team and want to take as little chances with losing the ball as possible)
Good PPM woudl be: "tries long range passes" "tries killer balls" .. You see were i am going?
You got to tailor players fitting into youre team with youre own vision and flair. ALways have a young talent and think about what impact you want him to do, maybe for DLP slot you want a more beefy player there thats more like Roy Keane? Then craft him, make it work withinn youre team
I Have Felix Horn Myhre as my sub for DLP and i PPM him as a more versile dlp that can also cover the SV slot or take up the role of DM if i need to change it up.
The thing is, it takes a TONN of time to do 1 season if you do it properly. i have the sense that you guys do 1 season a day but personaly the past days here i slept 7 hours in total after watching my cat thats sick and all i done was play FM and i barely managed 1 season in well 15hours efficient playtime a day. Because i try to think ahead, watch how my team is from behind, how i defend when ahead, make sure i get players with similare personalities etc.
To be the manager of a football club is not suppose to be easy, just ask Claudio Ranieri...
best of luck guys
