FM19 Tactics by TFF

I have a small question, if I play a Ryan Sessegnon on left wm did I need to train him as a winger or anyway inverted winger

This IS a more than decent tactic.

Have you considered your approach to things might not be correct? have you ensured morale is high? do you use the correct teamtalks and shouts?

I can totaly see people struggle with this game, but there is a far better approach to take to get proper feedback on the issue.

post some info about the save, screenshoots etc and ask questions accordingly.

I havent tried much more tactics than this, because i do not need to.... If i struggle i have a bit different tweak in slot 2 or if i struggle otherwise i use the one in slot 3. that forfills my whole need to win the games i feel is just according to quality of team, opponent and random hillariouse fm moments.

Sometimes you have issues getting a lot of goals but then analyze were the problem lies.

- Do you have poor crossers doing the crosses?
- Do you have MR or ML that has ppm to stay out wide?
- Do you have FB PPM to always stay back?
- Do you lack pace?

there can be a number of issues. but a good tip is to set up the set pices properly, make sure you have one or two decent set pices specialists in the team and that you dont have a squad of midgets trying to win the header in the box ;)

I see where you are coming from.

I feel I have a fairly good understanding of the game so receiving so many counter attacking goals was a clear worry. Any suggestions for a tweak of Ashbringer V14?

Also, which Version of Ashbringer is being used with success? I am on v14 but see people also using V11.

Finally, I like your approach of swapping 2-3 different tactics according to requirements. Which ones are those? A good time wasting as well by any chance?

The three tactics i use are all variants of stormcaller. waste time is just tick down passing to short and add 1 tab of timewasting and maybe tick play for set pices. thats all :)

I used Ashbringer v14 and if i have injuries i still pick it up to play some young inside forwards thats not yet good as ML or MR. I still think that tactic is realy good, but on this save, using Stormcaller v14.

Try to read the feedback after games, maybe you have dribbling to much on a crappy dribbler or try killer balls on a crappy passer. that will counter a bit. also pace is essential in defence so make sure you have that aswell as concentration. if you get counterattacked to much its probably due to lack of focus or positioning. also remember to move the defence-line to maybe standard on with if they overlap or use wingers to get the job done.

Does anyone have suggestion about so many shots and so so little were on target...I have 20+ shots every match but maximum 5 or 6 are on target

1. 26goals Embolo
2. 13goals Morilla
3. 12goals Keane/Marin

top 3 assists of my team in all competitions

1. 25assists Marin
2. 11assists Kaya
3. 9assists Serdar

Trincao was the half of the season my MR he was playing realy realy good had many assists and a lot of goals (he shot corners, penaltys & free kicks) but i couldn hold him so he leaved the club to liverpool
i singed Stengs for him but he was injured so he couldn played that much (8games 3goals 3assists)

i played every of my 3 seasons with stormcaller -> great tactic!

lets see if i can win the cl in the next 2 years (got not that much money)

I haven't had any joy with Cardiff so this is amazing results - well done!

Did you follow the training advice from opening post?
Did you do shouts?
Any advice for team talks - I seem to struggle this year.

Guys does anyone have a waste time tactic for storm caller version 14.I fininsh with Fulham on 7 place media prediction 17 but I draw about 6 or 7 times when I lead by 2 goals. I finish 5 or 6 if I have a wt tactic:'(

hey mate

i can tell u some things im doin

1. in my opinion one of the most important things when u start in lower leagues as i did with sunderland is to buy realy cheap talents like Antonio Marin, Pelayo Morilla, Francisco Trincao etc they can grow up in those 2 years till u hit the premier league...maybe u can hold them or otherwhise u can sell them for good money
2. im looking that someone in my team has good corner & free kick attributes like 14+ cause we all know many chances + goals we have are through standards in this tactic...Trincao has many goals through free kicks in my seasons and he had 14 in free kicks...im not sure when the attribute is higher if we have more chances and goals but maybe
3. im looking that my defender has good jumping reach + heading attributes like 14+ cause u can see in my post that keane has scored many goals and they all through corner
4. if u want the best results then dont use instant result button just watch the games so u can use ingame shouts and teamtalks for urself
5. allways use teamtalks for urself so u will get them better motivated
6. if ur player are not max. in moral then go praise them when they had a good training
7. i let the training to my AM but i try 2 get a AM with good training stats in offensive, defense, tactic and technique

maybe i forgott some stuff but there are some points

sry for my english but im sure u understand what i mean :-)

Just go into settings and change time wasting, maybe shorter passes and play for set pices, it should be pretty efficient.

OH, and also (i forgot to share this before) If the opponent has Wingbacks or Fullbacks that come forward a lot, make sure youre ML/MR mark the back on their side. IT pretty much takes away all chances for overlapping and are pretty good trick to do if you defend a lead or if you are vs a much bigger club (real/barca etc)
