Summer of 2018 is the World Cup. I will be doing a mini update to follow the only Caribbean side in the tournament, Jamaica. Now that players are signed, mostly in Europe, there will be more updates flowing your way. Hopefully you enjoyed this one.

Pedersen had a decent season, if you only look at the avg. rating, and not the goals conceded. Don't like the fun fact though, hopefully this will be his only relegation ever :)

Retired....**** guess nobody could handle **** Butts attacking from the back :/

5 youth goals? That's some achievement seeing as one of my traits is never get forward.

Wonder if he and Jack Sparrow are cruising the bars looking for a good time, or have they shacked up together?

- UPDATE 4 / Summer of World Cup 2018-

World Cup Knockout - Group Stages:
Greetings to the World Cup 2018… this will be short and sweet, just like Jamaica’s World Cup 2018 tournament. They were the only country to represent the Caribbean region and they did their best to do so.

Game 1 was exactly what Jamaica needed. They went head to head against Cameroon. MIDE got his first ever World Cup goal under his belt. MIDE was dominant in front of goal with 6 shots under his name. Only 3 hit the target and that 1 goal is all Jamaica needed. The game ended 2-0 for Jamaica. Sending them to the top of the table after the first round of group matches.

Game 2 was against Portugal. That was a level to much for the Jamaicans. As a team, they were only able to get 7 shots fired with only 1 hitting the target. On the other side, Portugal were firing on all cylinders. They came out comfortable winners, 3-0.

Game 3 was similar to the second. This time against the heavy favorites Belgium. Lukaku made sure the game was out of reach before half time scoring a brace in the 21st and 45th minute. Jamaica pushed in the second half, coming up short and losing the game 2-0.

It was safe to say it wasn’t an easy group. Coming out in 3rd place behind Belgium and Portugal should be seen as a positive. Specially after seeing how they played positive football against all odds. MIDE ended his World Cup campaign with 2 appearances and 1 goal. None of the other Jamaicans we are currently following have made the trip to Russia.

World Cup Knockout - Round 2:
Spain, Brazil, Italy, Portugal, Argentina, Germany Mali and England all won their game. The World Cup’s biggest surprise, as you can see from this list, is Mali. They beat Mexico 2-1 to everyone’s shock. Germany on the other hand, were over powering, beating Boznia 5-0.

*** BREAKING NEWS ***
PSG have tabled an offer of $29,500,000 for MIDE from Sevilla. Sources in Spain have said that Sevilla are strongly considering the offer.

World Cup Knockout - Quarter Finals:

Brazil 0 - 1 Italy
Romagnoli wins it for the Azzuri in the 120th minute.

Spain 0 - 1 Portugal
P. Oliveira scored the winner in the 74th minute.

Germany 1 - 2 Mali
Looked like another simple match for Germany. Scoring early in the 18th minute. Mali had other ideas, scoring 2 goals in the 71st and 78th minute to brush aside the Germans. Who would have thought?

Argentina 2 - 1 England
Messi and Dybala were too strong for England.

*** OTHER NEWS ***
HULKSTER signs a new contract with Manchester United that will see him stay until 2022.

World Cup Knockout - Semi Finals:
Portugal 1 - 0 Mali
Portugal ended Mali’s Cinderella’s run short. They were 1 game away and the contest was fiercely fought. Riu Pedro scored in the 65th minute to give the Portuguese the lead and eventually, the game.

Italy 1 - 2 Argentina
Italy took the early lead, but they were not able to hold on the Argentinian onslaught. Aguero and Dybala made sure La Albiceleste would come out victorious.

*** BREAKING NEWS ***

Sevilla have finally accepted the transfer fee from PSG for MIDE’s services. It took PSG $44,000,000 to persuade Sevilla. The amount paid by PSG was the main talking point, not only by the two sets of fans, but football fans in general. We are talking about MIDE, who is only 19 years of age. The fee paid by PSG was also the record fee that Sevilla have received for one of their players. Previous holder was Dani Alves when he had moved to Barcelona.

World Cup 3rd Place:
Mali 0 - 2 Italy
Easy win for Italy, some would call it vintage Italy win.

World Cup Finals:
Portugal 0 - 1 Argentina
After taking an early lead from Higuain’s 22nd minute goal, Argentina put themselves in trouble after a straight red card for Banega in th 35th minute. They were able to hold on to the lead.

- Post World Cup News -
Until 1st of August 2018

Vitesse sign a loan deal with Chelsea for WIKIWIKI. Not many are surprised with this move from Chelsea. They tend to send players to their affiliates to help improve their players. WIKIWIKI should be in a good mood and is glad that he will be part of a team that will give him senior football experience.

NO TALENT
has renewed his contract with Arsenal. Antonio Conte joined Arsenal in March and has been delighted with NO TALENT’s progress. His new contract will see him stay at The Emirates until 2022.

The rum gave me a loose tongue.

Meanwhile PSG now have 3 of the players thankfully Midi is no treat to Jammy as he plays at the other end of the field.

All the screenshots were taken early in the 2018-2019 season. A few international games are coming up in the next few months as well as the Caribbean Nations Cup that Martinique had won in 2016. Jamaica are the favorites this year to win it. More on that in the coming updates.

Happy for Dadger to be on loan at Lens at least he's more likely to get game time there unlike at PSG.

Btw, was Jack Sparrow never created as a player? :(

Btw, was Jack Sparrow never created as a player? :(

Yes he was. He retired about a year into the simulation. I had mentioned in one of the updates that there were 3 players who had retired early on. :(
