-More Player interaction espiecally with you captain.
-Maybe having your own agent, telling you about different options opening up. Also, other player agents have more influence. For example, if you have a good relationship with an agent, it would be easier to buy that player.
-When starting unemployed, you could get offered roles as reserves or under 18s manager and work your way up.
-More options at press conferences
-Press conferences when signed a high profile player or a player the fans don't agree with.
-Reports on how your younger players are getting on.
-More indepth transfer negotionatons.
-Improve the 3d pitches.

I agree with everything. i have said all of that in various threads over the past few days. especially like the thought of having your own agent

but in real football management when do managers decide on building a new ground......thus why every year Si overlook people requesting that feature
You can request the board build a new stadium!

should be able to interact with managers more? like ring a manager and recomend a player to him say you had on trial but you decided against because didnt fit into your plans etc hapens all the time in football. (wenger spotted wilson palacios and told steve bruce to take a shot at him)

also should be able to scout a specific club

i like that idea of working your way up from a u18 or reserve team manager(geordiejacob)

Yeah but they can and often do say no.....most people seem to think that they should be able 2 at any point just design and build a ground themselves.

i have one which is kinda stupid but its elaborating on somebody saying like, do stuff with the money you earn, an i think say if you manage a top team for a few seasi
oms you would get like £2mil in wage, an i reckon although its kinda totaly different game is maybe you could retire as a manger and buy a club and run it as chairman like you can get a BSP team for like £100k so i think thatd be quite good, but as i say thats kinda like changin the game totaly from fm to fotball chairman instead

so yeah. football chariman 2010 is not the game we will be playing is it....

yh thats a real good idea

-I really like the 3d mach engine and I can that they will improve it through the years, I can't wait till it is like pro evo style realistic. However for now a crowd and improved stadiums in the match engine would be good and hopefully not too advanced.

-More preferred moves, not much at the moment for defenders and none for keepers eg: Likes to distribute ball quickly (Reina), Likes to find target man from goal kicks (Almunia). I also think they could turn the 'Tendency to Punch' attribute into a preffered move (Likes to punch crosses, Beats shots away) and replace it with passing stat for keepers, because keepers need to be able to pass and the kicking and throwing stat relates ONLY to distance not accuracy.

-More detailed press conferences with more options, too repetitive at the moment, there's a few good suggestions on the thread so I won't bother listing any.

there are some good ideas here that si should definitely look into

i think the side arrows should definitely come back.
i agree that the sponsorship details are not really a managers job but i still think some people who buy the game would appreciate the feature.
stadium building or maybe an option to download an add in would be sufficient.

also more interaction in the press conference would be good not the same questions every time with only a sliding scale response system.

at the end of the day its personal preference what people want but as long as many features are supported as an option most people will be happy

did any one play pro evo manager a few years back? i think it had the best 3d engine of all the manager games out even now.... si take a look, i would like to see proper tactics like you can create a set play, put players in specific positions and tell them exactly what you want them to do..... in training you should be able to tell a player to work on something like his freekicks (the stats goes up when he does) and what about somthing like a better version or champ mans prozone? training camps maybe? the way attributes change should be better, and maybe have updates on how a player has progressed like in fifa manager.... since there are journalists why aren't there any stories about my players stumbling out of nightclubs so i can punish them?

People dont Get injured as often as 09 and manage teams even lower like ridgeons premier league would be immense ;] as i play for Dereham in that league
I live near Dereham!

On Topic all time records such as Most league winners medals and highest goal scorer. I know you can check your own clubs records and those of other clubs but a page that covered the best stats of the lot. Agree with who ever said about set piece training aswell cracking idea.

I'd like very much to be able to tell my fb to go up when the ball goes down his flank, while the other fb remains behind so I can defend with three. I'd like to tell them to try balls from flank to flank, ive only seen xavi do it. And they should do something with obvious misses from forwards, and a lot of the headers just don't make sense.
A cool thing, tell me what you think about it, would be to be able to set different passing, tempo, etc... depending on which quarter of the pitch the players are in what do you think?
Finally, I've noticed that you can report bugs to SI but improvements? What would the admin (sean or gregor) think about a ''improvements'' thread and send it to SI guys?

I'd like to see bonus 'classic' world cup competitions that can be played instantly by signing on as manager of a world cup squad a week or so before the finals. Similar to the International Cricket Manager games that provide a couple of classic test series as a 'side dish' to full team management. You could take an evening off from managing Doncaster Rovers and take Cruyff, Rep and Neeskens to the 1974 final, or control Platini's French side in '82. The seperate data set required for a stand alone competition would be quite small.

How about full betting markets when a manager leaves a club?
More realism in managerial appointments, e.g. taking longer than a day for a new manager to be appointed and actually have a possibility of a manager turning down a job. Also, in the Job Security section, managers who have just taken new jobs should not have a security of 'Precarious' or 'Very Insecure' having just took the job.
Have the ability to send your substitutes to warm up during a match.
Press Conferences after signing new players.
The ability to have contacts in the media, therefore being able to spread rumours around.
More involvement from agents. For them to get involved in transfer negotiations, contract talks, alerting you to the availability of players.
Even having an agent of your own.
A secretary to alert you to key news.
Job interviews, interviews with potential new signings to see whether they are what you are looking for, whether they would fit in or not.
More involvement with Director of Footballs/Chairmen/Owners, possibly preventing you from signing a certain player or signing a player you didn't want to buy.

they need to develop improve the betting side of the game, im not saying to allow bets that would be ridiculous.

i want to see a area were the league odds are displayed and they change after each round of matches, not just at the start of every season, also the odds are not realistic.
ive won the league 3 seasons in row and im 5/2, with man u 5/1.
no other team in the league have a realistic chance liverpool have a outside chance. chelsea have turned into a top 8 team.

the odds of 5/2 are to high, and should be around 8/11 with man u at about 4/1 .
They need to get some bookies to help them with their odds system.

and i want them to be updated weekly it just needs to be programmed.

the idea of are more thorough betting area is because it allows the manager to feel the media more. the media ALWAYS talk about league odds, i.e sky sports news.

professionals watch sky sports news therefore its essential.

i think all these are good ideas especially like the changing of the odds etc, one thing i think would be decent would be being able to interact with a ref like you can with other managers say before a game you could say somet in the press and then you could say somet afterwards, cos all managers normaly bring the referee up at some point, so i think thatd be pretty good like saying before the game you feel this ref cant handle the big games etc, maybe to put pressure on him just like you can with the players an that, in order to affect his performance

i think its stupid how every1s kit stays the same all the way through the chace to be able to pick wot style you like or at least the bored and you get to vote on wot one they want. and bein able too say more whith the team talks. and i think there should be mpre done to the press interveiws but its only been there a year so im sure it will be improved, maybe being able to manage a woman footy team. lol. not sayin i would or owt hahahaha
