Losing players is a *****. Guernsey started semi pro so i didn't have that issue thank god! Still the board accepted a few offers i wasn't happy about!

Here is the screen shot of Lunardi that was requested, At the time of writing he has been capped by Italy in a friendly. But has just been called up by England for a world cup qualifier! Might be switching sides.

This was the only out come that was ever going to happen after 31 goals.

Despite my personal aim being to win it I didn't want un-needed pressure so went for this.

Yeah i may do but may do till jan and see where i am at with it...i chose Bridlington cos i went there a lot for day out

This season we are aiming for promotion nothing less. Winning the league is my aim but i will take promotion if i must!

The freindlies went well concidering first two games were full youth teams

The league got off to the best possible start.

Out of the league cup at the first hurdle but that was not my concern this year.

We are sitting pretty at the top

We got a new coach you may of heard of.

Due to my getting carried away by my girlfriends laptop being a lot faster than mine my next update will be after 40 games!​

40 games in we are still top and looking strong. We have found a new striking superstar in Anthony Asante. He really is the boy come good. I am beating them off with a stick!

Out of the fa cup against forest again. I'm a bit sick of the sight of them now. Some really good results in the league. Asante has been the difference for us in alot of games.

I'll also include this years youth intake in here since it's nothing amazing.

Don't ask me how but i got a dual nationality English/Brazilian! He is the only decent player from this years intake. My coaches don't think he is anything special giving him only 2 stars, but those stats look quite good to me. I'll give him a few seasons and see what happens. Regardless he is probably the only south american player i'm going to get on this save so i'll keep him just for that.

It was just one of those games we had our best team out 100% fit they had loads of injuries and suspensions and no recognised keeper in nets!

Winning the league by just 1 point! We were top more or less the whole season and we do deserve this. After last years playoff heartache i was taking no chances this year. Guernsey will play Championship football next season!

I imagine we will still have the smallest stadium in the league by quite some way.

Board are behaving again now and doing everything i ask them to.

Fantastic story, I am doing one with Wembley, started soon after you did, but not doing the youth policy just level 9 upwards, winning the league and managed to get Edgar Davids as DoF, Quintin Fortune as AM and Winston Bogarde as a coach, big fan of lower level management.

Mojo I'm really impressed with this, it has inspired me to start my own save as Horsham YMCA! Just wondering at the start, the greyed out players that you signed from your squad, were many of them very good? All of my youngsters are grey half star players to begin with which, I think, will make it difficult to start with.

Bogarde is my current AM! He's no great shakes andi'll be lookingto replace him shortly. I'lltry to keep him on the coaching staff though purleyfor his name.

All greyed out players have been awful except for one who was only semi awful!

Just down to leel 9 and i have been taking them off as i got promoted as my laptop is slow enough to start with!

And initially i only have 6 players in my team...do i fill the other spots by signing greyed out players?

You need to tell the game to fill all playing squads, it will fill your squad with regens of an acceptable level. Some of my regens are still in my team!
