Back to the story though - brilliant! Really got into that and happy you stayed up. Just hoping there's another random (better) side in another random division waiting around the corner - even better if it's outside Europe.

I definitely never warmed to Katowice or Poland like I did Angrense and Hero Creek, Hurley or no Hurley. Be a shame for the poor guy to be marooned in snowy Poland forever more...
 
Yeah I definitely know what you mean. I definitely preferred life in Portugal. I reckon its just because relative to the leagues, Angrense was just a lot easier as a project and we got to see loads of wins and good performances, whereas we've arguably overachieved as much in Katowice but it's just been a slog

Still, feels like a good career move. Hopefully you'll get back to winning ways in sunnier climes. Look forward to hearing about the league.
 
I do think you can look back at last season as a success, y'know.

I guess you can sort of manage your career from here out. If you want to have more teams like Angrense, I suppose you can look at taking jobs maybe one league lower with teams pushing for promotion. If you want to push up the divisions, you might find yourself at teams more like Katowice where you'll have a season of hard graft and struggle.

Fingers crossed Santos works out more like the former :)
 
Yeah you have a point! I think it all depends on the specific club and their country, but by and large it'll be a choice between an Angrense and a Katowice. A hopeful and a struggler.

But yeah I think mainly I'll be basing my moves off where I actually want to go now that I've got some experience behind me, like this Summer although I applied for other jobs, South Africa was top of the list and I was able to make it happen :)
 
Absolutely ridiculous isn't it. What's more annoying though is the fact that I've just realised that I've not mentioned EUROPA or CL. For those interested I'll have edited those into mini-sode 75.5.5.5 by tomorrow morning!

Scratch that it'll be tomorrow! Busy week :P

Sorry guys but time's been tighter than usual the last couple of months, hence me delaying episodes so much. Daily eps will start again NEXT Monday now (2nd October)

So, I know I said that I was pushing the story back just a week, but I’m aftaid it’s going to be a bit longer. I can’t get it sorted at the minute and instead of being enjoyable it’s only serving to stress me out. I will be back, but it’ll be at least another week.
