In regards youth talent I do look at the attributes they have. But more for me I am inclined to play them in the first team, perhaps in a cup game or an easy home game to see how they will perform. I did have a 16 year old in the Espanyol save from many seasons ago who had decent stats for a 16 year old so played him in 2 cup games and he averaged over 8 in both games, so became at 1st a back and by the time he was 18 was a 1st team regular. So I do look at both stats and give them a run out in what I feel should be easy games for them. Of course some do fail, so is nice when 1 makes first team so young.
As for Hughes, yes he does seem to peak attribute wise early and not appear to get better, however as you say rarely plays a bad game, and also from memory is hardly ever injured, at least not for me, long term injuries I am meaning.
Hidden stats somewhere I guess in all of this!
Thats how I would do it to give them play time in easy games, but difficult thing to do when you are Barca and owning x200 players lol and your second best players sit on the bench alot and starts to complain - makes it hard to create room for youth talent to test - I however loan them out especially to my feeder clubs, but not anymore for Brondby as Brondby now can do it all by themselves. The injury proneness is covered in the *** mans report if they are, knowing the hidden stats for this - the lower number they have the better it is, ofcause we can't see that ingame - so reading a report that doesn't say anything about injury proneness gives us no clue - except whether or not they actually do get injured then they are probably average 10 for injury proneness.
I wanted so badly to rely on the *** man for potential reports, but now I'm a bit uncertain on this subject and will probably not rely on anything but my own judgement - I will let you know if I switch opinion about that.
I sold Vargas the Paraguayan danish women lover for 6.75m pounds a decent amount for this player and I sold several others I felt wasn't good enough and I brought in alot of talent for the youth team especially + Brondby have a niche for developing talents too - the regent above is one example of that. Brondby's new favourite place looking for talent is probably croatia and serbia
and then their is always good old ukraine and russia for the same purpose, infact I'm buying a CAM I'm gonna retrain from Russia he is very good looking 11m pounds and the money in Brondby is basically no more and actually deteriorated more than I anticipated now below 40m pounds in the beginning 140m pounds, so now I start from scratch in the way of developing a team - almost from scratch I still bought players I have seen in action from the loans last season that belonged to Barca. The right winger that was first choice became a beast winger and was loaned for two seasons in Brondby, and developed his amazing talent while being a first team regular - when the loan was over he went back to Barca and they sold him for 46.5m pounds - the name was Di Pinto italian and got capped while playing for Brondby - amazing!!!. Now Brondby have invested in a young Mexican he will love his *** man Alberto as he is also Mexican lol - I love those Mexican
I have also invested in several danish talents to be able to have more choices going forward in the CH league group stages - also Brondby is directly qualified for the group stage in the ch league - that's an amazing achievement for danish team not having to play play off matches to get into the groups.
The first league game using the 442 direct no tweaks at all - they won 6-0 and it is looking promising straight of the bat.
Cheers
