I have st about fully rebuilding the squad I inherited, I think we are the best team in the league by a long way now.

Nicholas Smith
Although my formation isn't final yet I know it will involves wing backs, Nicholas Smith here i far to good to play in Jamaica and therefore perfect for me.

Christopher Campbell
Right sided dynamo Christopher Campbell will play right wing back for me, looks class for this level.

View attachment 336654

Lance Thomas
Primarily back up, but will be given his chance to shine.

View attachment 336655

Omar Goodwin
Again back up, but will be offered chances.

View attachment 336656

Walter Jackson
A starter in centre midfield more that likely, One seson out of him should be enough.

View attachment 336657

Rufus McIlroy
His technical attributes should make up for his short comings, A starter for us.

Andrae Lynch
Bags of potential and in the Jamaican second division a potential game changer! I'm looking for a big impact from him.

I think i've done ok concidering the small budgets on offer. The funds to get Prince Boateng were sadly non existant but if I find myself at a club in the USA or Mexico he remains a target :)

My first update with the USA i'll cover the friendlies first them the competitive games. But first here is the formation i've gone with, I feel it's a natural fit for the USA and should deliver results.

FRIENDLIES

First up was Finland and I was beyond angry that we needd a penalty to draw, after we led from a 25th minute Padilla goal. Padilla was really the only positive here but I hope to build on this.

View attachment 336681

Next up were Spain although still 2-2 I can accept that against a team like Spain. A well earned draw on Spains own territory.

View attachment 336682

First competitive game for me in charge of the USA and i'm slightly concerned that we conceeded. But 4-1 is still 3 points on the board.

View attachment 336683

We conceeded against inferior opposition again but again we out scored them, that is all that matters.

View attachment 336684

An awful draw with Honduras.....I don't want to talk about it.

View attachment 336686

Finally a clean sheet as we stonked Surinam 6-0.

View attachment 336687

I' going to just label thi an amazing game and be happy with 3 points. 5-2 perfect for the neutral.

View attachment 336689

Happy that we scored 7 unhappy we conceeded 2. But that finishes qualification.

View attachment 336691

We qualified easily all things concidered.

View attachment 336694

We are ranked 32 in the world as it stands, here are the rankings.

Good luck in Jamaica, that was hard to get your foot on the ladder. May I ask where you got these league expansions from? Unless it contains the CFU Cup it'll be luck if you end up in the NACL or not.

Yes far to hard SI need to fix that so we can go where we like. Cole89 linked me to them in his story, post 9 here. http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/foot...tories/117701-world-domination-hopefully.html

If I can't qualify for NACL i'll be off once I win the league!

Denmark not even in top 32 in the world? That's suprising.

I hope you can get Prince Boateng to move to Jamaica sometime. ;)

Alot of Eoropean teams are greyed out a bit because I haven't had any european leagues loaded yet, It will fix itself when I get there I imagine.

When I go to USA or Mexico he will be arriving.

The USA have had ALOT or games this year so this post will be quite a big post. One friendly, all the qualifiers and the Gold Cup.

I'll start with our single friendly even if it's not the right order! Cameroon were dealt with easy enough USA running out easy 4-1 victors.

Next the Gold Cup.

Before the tournament started I tried to get John Warren, only to discover he was already in the France squad! Duly he was capped a day later and my hopes of getting him die with that. However there is hope as I found another even better player! Allow me to introduce Borracha
View attachment 336968

Originally Bazillian, quite how he hasnt got a cap I don't know! But he accepted my call up and he is a class apart from most strikers. The USA just got some bite, here he is sporting USA colours.
View attachment 336969

Here are the groups, I assume Mexico only send a B team because f the Copa America? We should walk this tournament.
View attachment 336966

And the opening signs were good, putting 6 past helpless Trinidad and Tobago.
View attachment 336967

It was only going to get better against Puerto Rico hitting 11 past them. Borracha and Padilla combining to lethal effect!
View attachment 336970

The last game was meaningless having already qualified for the quarter finals, but we went for it anyway. St kitts and Nevis finding out why Borracha was drafted in.
View attachment 336971

We top the group easily.
View attachment 336975

The quarter finals would see us against an In form El Salvador. They restricted us to only 3 goals, thats form on our recent showings!
View attachment 336972

Mexico B in the semi final learnt that they need there best team to even stand a chance against us. Most of this Mexican side aren't even playing top flight football and it showed in a 6-0 drubbing!
View attachment 336973

Honduras in the final wasn't exactly the stuff dreams are made of, the 5-0 beatdown we delivered showed our supremacy, we are Gold Cup champions!
View attachment 336974

Sadly it gives me no joy to beat helpless sides by cricket scores. The real test will be the world cup, but we need to get there first.

This is how the table looks before any games.

We went on to dominate the entire campaign, The only slight slip was a narrow 2-1 win over Honduras but we did still win! Here are all our games.

All 10 games won USA qualified for the world cup, Here is how the table looks.
View attachment 336987

We are now ranked 8th in the world, sme 40 placs higher than when I took over. It's nice to Mali up there in 3rd aswell doing there best to prove me wrong!

Well done, great story.Hope there are many more seasons to come!

I'd estimate a minimum of another 20 but 30-40 is probably more likely.....

Any chance of screenies of Padillo and Boracha now? Just to see their International Stats!!

Was John Warren capped in a competitive game or just a friendly? if it's only a friendly then there's a very slim chance of getting him back as players can change until they play a competitive first team game at international level.

Also well done on the Gold Cup win, you were totally dominent there and in WC qualification and it's definately a good sign for the world cup. The mexico results are particularly good as they are normally quite a good side, at least they tend to get out of the group stage most of the time on my saves.

Brilliant season, Boracha is insane. The Mexico B team played because the the first team had to play the Confederations Cup.

Mexico actually seem quite weak, But even on paper we are far and away the best side in north America

That'll explain it!
