But i do also think that messi is overrated
 
Andy Carroll, Peter Lovenkrands, Tim Krul, Bradden Inman, Steven Taylor and Jose Enrique. Trying not to biased, but these players are too low.
 
La Liga defenders are **** and make Messi look good but he would struggle in England.

yeah ronaldo had world class players round him, but barca are a world class team, real arent. and without tht team messi struggles, thats all i mean

Oh my god you are delusional, Messi overrated??? The only reason he had a poor world cup is because his country had a poor side and the players Maradona left out of his squad were just ridiculous. Leaving Cambiasso and Javier Zanetti who both just won the treble was just impossibly stupid, and yes alongside Iniesta and Xavi Messi is unbelievable, but there is absolutely no denying his amazing talent, and it wasn't Xavi or Iniesta that scored all those fabulous individually scored hat-tricks it was Messi. Messi is one of footballs most hardworking and humble players and saying he is overrated is just so absurd it makes me sick, and if anyone is overrated it's Sergi Busquets, I'm not denying that he has ability or potential but the young Catalan is just so out of his league it's frightening, and the fact that Busquets can get called up were players in his position such as Esteban Cambiasso can be left out of the Argentine squad and not even play in the the world cup is just plain wrong.

LOL this is whys hes over rated ppl like you talking about him like hes the most amazing thing ever, i havnt even said hes a bad player, i think hes brilliant i just dont like everyone jumpin on the band wagon sayin how amazing he is, watch barcelona on tv and it will be 90 minutes of the commentators talkin about messi and how special he is, even if he aint playing, hes a good player but he is so over rated and thts not just my opinion thts a fact

You clearly need to learn the definition of fact. It's something that has been proven.

Now I didn't mind when you were stating your OPINION that Messi is overrated, but when you come here and say it's a fact - I have to intervene. You are clearly an imbecile who needs to go back to (Or improve in, depending on age) school.
 
How is he overrated , because I jumped to his defense ? Players are not rated about what fans or I say about them , and most commentators are morons anyway, they have no impact on how Messi will preform on the pitch and when he plays on the pitch he does nothing to prove that he is overrated, quite the contrary. If anything Messi's season last year was way above what anyone was expecting from him , I'm sure well all know he is a fabulous player but come on, who scores hatrick after hatrick like Messi did and that game he played in against Arsenal just sums it all up. Saying that El Messia is overrated is just wrong be that your opinion or not.

well alright mate, ill go back to school not sure how much of the curriculum is about Messi being over rated but ill give it a go
 
meh to be honest FM11 is well into the alpha stage so most of these suggestions are fairly moot. if you have real issues i suggest you get over to the si forum and get on the data issues thread
 
It's not a fact. Messi is probably the best player in the world. He has an amazing team behind him; so? He still scores ridiculously brilliant wonder-goals, all on his own. Lionel Messi is far more than as you say "a good player".

David Villa was part of a winning Spanish team, yet everyone acknowledges what a brilliant World Cup he had. Just because you have a good team behind you doesn't mean you're not as good.

And if you even think about saying Ronaldo is better, by using the old "he does better with a worse team behind him", what did Ronaldo do at the World Cup? Apart from one or two pieces of brilliance, he did nothing. Messi pulled out this brilliance and more in a lacklustre Argentinean side. Yes, Messi's World Cup wasn't brilliant, but you can't be at the top of your game all the time.

That's not in the curriculum. But the foundation of English Language (I believe at around Key Stage 1/2 level) is learning the definition of simple words like 'fact'.

Don't get clever, it's simply not possible for you I'm afraid.
