Our worst performance of the season yet we still matched Rangers for large parts, we just aren't as clinical as these teams

RADSCHUWEIT WRITES NAME INTO HIBS FOLKLORE
View attachment 87127

Johannes Radschuweit has written his name into Hibrnian folklore following his 86th minute goal to defeat Aberdeen in the League Cup Final

The 18 year old's goal was the difference between the two in what was a tight game

Hibs had the better of the tie throughout but struggled to find the net until Radschuweit's strike

This sent the Hibs fans into raptures and is Hawkins' second trophy in last than 12 months in charge of Hibs

CHRISTMAS COLLAPSE FOR HIBS
View attachment 87124

Despite winning three games in December, including a 3-2 victory over Rangers, Hibs fans will see the month as a missed opportunity as the Edinburgh club picked up just two points from their final three games of the month

Hibs fans were infuriated by their clubs performances against Falkirk, Dundee United and St Johnstone as they suffered a 3-2 defeat to St Johnstone and only managed 1-1 draws with Dundee United and Falkirk

This was added to the fact that Rangers and Celtic also faltered which had given Hibs the opportunity to force their way into the title discussion

Hibs managed wins over Dundee (2-0), Rangers (3-2) and Inverness (4-2)

View attachment 1123831

Hibernian have made a statement with their transfer business, bringing in a trio of players, all of whom play in the final third of the field

First of whom was Colm Webster, who joined from Dundalk for a fee of £300,000

Webster, 23, started his career at Crumlin United before moving on to Nottingham Forest, for whom he never made a single league appearance

Webster instead spent a season on loan at AFC Wimbledon, scoring 28 goals in 43 league appearances before joining Dundalk on a free, for whom he scored 16 goals in 41 appearances

The Dublin born frontman also has 2 goals in 5 games for Ireland Under 21s
View attachment 86988

The second striker tot join was Matej Orescanin, who's joined Hibs for a fee of £200,000

At 18 the Croat is definitely one for the future, having made just 3 league appearances for boyhood club Lokomotiva Zagreb, scoring one goal

Despite his tender age, the teenager has made 4 appearance for the Croatian Under 21 side, scoring 1 goal
View attachment 86987

Last but not least is Benjamin Deusch, who's joined on loan from Augsburg with the view to a permanent deal for £3m

Decush started his career at Eintracht Braunschweig before joining Eintracht Frankfurt for £325,000

Decush made 8 appearances for Frankfurt before re-joining Braunschweig for £700,000. Deusch made 49 appearances for Braunschweig, scoring 15

This led to a £1.8m move to Augsburg for whom he made 4 appearances in the Bundesliga, scoring 2

OLYMPIQUE DE MARSEILLES 5 [6]
HIBERNIAN 1 [2]

Hibernian have crashed out of the Europa League in the First Knockout Round following a 5-1 loss away at the Stade Veledrome

After a 1-1 draw at Easter Road and going in at 1-1 at half-time a red card shown to Hibs' Andy Davidson saw the Scottish side capitulate and concede 4 in the second half

This game was the end of a horror month for Hibs as they picked up just 1 win in 4 SPL games, losing to Ross County and drawing the other two

The Edinburgh club lost vital ground in the title race as their rivals for the title, Celtic and Rangers pushed ahead

Solace came in the Scottish Cup, with Hibs beating Falkirk 3-1 in the Fifth Round

Hibernian have reached their second Scottish Cup final in two years following a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Aberdeen at Hampden Park

Goals from Johannes Radschuweit and Lewis Wilkes complimented a Elliott Parker brace as Hibs led 4-0 at half-time

Aberdeen staged a mini fightback but couldn't handle Hibs on the day

This win came as a welcome tonic for Hibs fans following an embarrassing loss to 10 man Hearts as they finished the regular season in 3rd

1st of July 2036Work never stops for football managers. Even in the off season when the players are swanning about in Dubai and Las Vegas we football managers are hard at work

That's what drove me round the bend at other clubs but I'm relishing it here, everyday Kevin and I are hard at work reading through scout reports, arranging training sessions, adjusting tactics and watching our opponents

Last season was a great season and allows us to dream for the next campaign, both Old Firm clubs have lost their managers and we have the added bonus to our reputation of being a Champions League club a few key transfers could see us end up top of the pile in Scotland, all I need is a similar budget to next season an we could win the lea-

Its hard enough to convince players to come up to Scotland but now me and Kevin's job has been made even harder thanks to a board who I've brought a **** load of cash being arseholes. We've got £18m in the bank and that's all they could give me? Wankers.

I added to our budget by selling Martin Clark, he went to Crystal Palace for £3.7m, great business, I saw just £1m of that arrive in my budget

Despite that, Kevin and I convinced some fools to join us on free transfers, so please meet Mike Murrall and Alex Hood

Mike is 26, came through at Chelsea and made 5 league appearances for them before being released following 4 loan spells at completely different clubs, sound familiar? He's made 176 league appearances, with those coming in the Premier League, Championship and Scottish Premiership as he's spent time with Chesterfield, Middlesbrough, Norwich and ourselves

Alex is 25 and he followed a similar path. He made his debut for Manchester United and scored on it at 16, before making loan appearances for Aberdeen, Reading and Brentford before making 15 league appearances over three seasons for United and spending time on loan at Bournemouth in the Premier League

I'll also be returning to Belgium to face Club Brugge in the Champions League Best Placed Third Qualifying Road, its all go at Easter Road
