I've decided to re enter the wonderful lockdown-less world of Football Manager for the millionth time and thought I'd write about it, because why not? I've nicked the title of a story I've written before on here, there'll be a lot of plagiarism. https://fm-base.co.uk/threads/insert-witty-title-here-a-journeyman-save.155622/

HAWKINS TAKES CHARGE AT CHIPPENHAM
Chippenham Town have today announced the appointment of former Bluebirds midfielder Matthew Hawkins as the club's latest manager
Hawkins, 28, made 57 appearances for the club in a 3 year spell marred by accusations of off-the-field issues which ended abruptly for unknown reasons
Hawkins, who's been out of football for 2 years, is said to be delighted at taking over, having told reporters this earlier: "I'm delighted to take over here at Chippenham, its a club close to my heart and I can't wait to do well here."
He also had a message for the fans "I may have left under a cloud last time but I'm a different person now, I can't wait to make a team for the people Chippenham to be proud of and finally show the world that Chippenham is the greatest town in north west Wiltshire! We'll show those b*stards in Malmesbury who's boss!"
Hawkins was a bizarre choice considering his past but he has the full backing of the board, who had this to say in a statement:
"We're delighted that Matthew accepted the job offer, he was our number 1 target and we know he'll do well. Any accusations that Matthew only got the job due to improper reasons are unhelpful and hurtful, it is a complete coincidence that Director Gardner's wife Polly has finally been found by the police following her mysterious disappearance last month"
