We only went and won the chuffin league! I don't really know how we did it, perhaps everyone else had an off year, but we went and done it!
This side really isn't good enough fir the title, but a strong start turned into a strong season and a strong season turned into a great one as I delivered Atalanta's first ever Serie A title in my first season in Italy, I haven't even cooked a bolognese yet and here we are, champions of Italy! I had some good players, Elmas, Kana & Caselli made up a great midfield whilst a solid defence helped but how we won the league I'll never know. I now have to somehow vastly improve the squad with loanees Ampadu & Phillips going home, with £20m. Great. I'd rather cooking lessons
Phillip Billing, Matthew Campbell, Leandro Trossard & Joao Carvalho were all sold, lets meet the replacements
LEON KING - RANGERS - £17.5m
The marquee signing in to replace Ampadu is Scottish international King, two footed, young and will only get better
XABIER GALAN - ALAVES - £19.25m
This was a problem spot last season as we never really had a top left winger. Now we do.
Atalanta's poor start to the season continued with a 0-0 draw against Sassuolo with the champions looking increasingly goal shy.
A 1-0 opening day defeat was followed by a less than convincing 2-1 win over newly promoted Hellas Verona as Atalanta stumbled out of the blocks. A 3-0 victory over Torino appeared to correct Atalanta's course, however that was soon undone by a feeble 1-0 defeat to an Inter Milan side who went down to ten men after 38 minutes
This poor league form hasn't followed them to Europe however, as they recorded 2-0 and 3-0 wins over Feyenoord and Sparta Prague respectively as they sit atop Group A
Struggling champions Atalanta are threatening a revival in Serie A as the end of October finally saw them string some form together
Opening the month with an embarrassing defeat to Benevento didn't fill Atalanta fans with optimism, whilst letting the lead slip twice against Udinese left them down in the dumps but a startling revival has seen them fly up the leagues
A 3-0 win against Lecce was backed up by a 2-1 win over Napoli and 4-0 battering of Sampdoria
This good run of form has left them 6th in the league, though it has not stopped the eccentric behaviour of manager Hawkins
Much of Atalanta's poor start has been put down to a lacklustre pre season by pundits, who claim that spending the summer hitchhiking though South East Asia was not the ideal way to prepare for the campaign, while Hawkins' hobbies have been called into question.
"He's looking increasingly withdrawn" claimed one member of staff close to the boss "he shows up late and haggard smelling of cheese, its very strange"
The extra curricular lessons Hawkins has offered his players, though lauded initially, have also come into question
"We all want smarter footballers" an ex pro said "but when you've got Lorenzo Caselli refusing to play against Milan because of Atalanta's owners exploiting the labour of players whilst not partaking in the labour and creation of capital themselves, its a problem"
The prodigal son has returned! Our eccentric mastermind has returned from his Italian sabbatical to lead our great side out of our slumber and up the Premier League to glory!
His Atalanta side swept all before them last season, and though they have floundered this campaign the irascible, insatiable Welshman has left them in a secure 9th spot following a 5-0 farewell thrashing of SPAL
It appears the old chap has reverted to his old ways in Italy, but he knows his way around our club and I'm sure he'll be a great success. Things haven't changed too much on the playing side since his departure so he'll slot right in, I'm sure of it

Really, its straight backta Fulham. But that isn't a song reference.
Yes, after just 18 months away I'm back at Fulham with nothing but a Serie A winners medal. Why so soon? Well, things weren't really going well over in Bergamo. Stuck in mid table and struggling the board had the balls to complain about my job and give me "D" rating. I took offence. These jokers gave me £10m to defend the title and then complain when, shock horror, we don't? Bellends.
To be honest I think we won the league too early and expectations were too high, that squad's a while away from being a top European side but expectations had been risen. I was looking to get out and Graham Potter's sacking had given me the perfect option, with Mr Khan all too eager to bring back a club hero. So here I am.
Really, not much has changed. Most of the squad was here when I was last here, the only notable addition being Jordan Henderson, but there is plenty of deadwood that Potter signed, and none of them are magical, so they can hop onto their little broomsticks and join him on their way out of the club
Look at them, far too many of them, need some sales. But let's meet the best
My marquee signing still going strong , bless him
Out on loan at Rotherham when I was last here, now a top player
I signed him before I left, I look forward to managing him
Ok, well done Graham, this guy's pretty good
I did notice the absence of two of my boys, who will be brought home immediately
That's better.
That is more than achievable with the quality of this squad
I took the Wales job about a year ago and its been a riot. We're joint hosting the next Euros with Scotland so there's no qualifiers and lots of friendlies. Yipee.
The joy of no proper games, "apart from the Nations League!", like I said the joy of no proper games is that I can experiment tactically and give out caps like its nobody's business. So we went strikerless and played teenagers. I gave out 21 debuts in my 11 games so far and only lost 2. Admittedly they were 2 of our 6 competitive games but lower your expectations, we're Wales ffs.
Here's the list of debutants and their clubs: Dion Molyneaux (Norwich City), Kian Davies (Manchester City), Gareth Swattridge (Crystal Palace), Ed Barry (Fulham), Scott Butler (Swansea City), Howard Aldridge (Sunderland), Matt Jones (Manchester United), David James (Southampton), Marcus South (Willem II), Danny Coates (Wrexham), Jason Williams (Oldham Athletic), Nathan Regan (Chelsea), Mark Jones (Southampton), Peter Jones (Bristol Rovers), Aled Derrick (Stoke City), Ian Palmer (Swansea City), Lee Spruce (West Ham United), Luke Morgan (Arsenal), Miles Michael (Swansea City) and John Coker (Wolverhampton Wanderers)
Like I said, lots of debuts, there's some real gems in there
Some big wins in friendlies, not so much competitively. That Scotland game was a joke, it was a close game but Bob Ferguson bagged a hat trick (more on him later). Shots= 17v15, shots on target= 11v10, xG(nonpen)= 2.16v1.93, corners= 13v15. Nonsense.
That aside we've been ok. Big wins in the East against Azerbaijan & Kosovo while a top Norway side got a bit of luck to beat us, I'm ok with that
Ashby-Hammond, Cockbill, Hoey, Smith, Jabu, Henderson (Stone 66), Harris, Gilmour (Acevedo 90), Bowie (Murray 70), Lewis-Potter, Calderon
