Haha, i am not AS sorry. As i ended up placing a £5 five fold including an Ipswich win after seeing Jamies post!

Bad influence!!

In all seriousness though, decent to see Sears get on the scoresheet though!

After a tough start to life back in the Premiership for Ipswich Town with narrow defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal. The tractor boys were pleased to be facing off against opposition they felt they could beat.

A mid week game at home to Brighton in Carling Cup was a distraction as far as George Burley was concerned.
His team selection proving that as 11 changes to the side meant they would fall to a 3-1 defeat and find themselves out of the Carling cup early on for a 2nd season on the trot.

Returning to league action against a side who won promotion with Ipswich, Nottingham Forest was a welcome sight for all town fans.
After losing their first 2 league games, they now have a realistic chance of putting their first points on the board.
A 3-2 win at The City Ground was a boost of morale and confidence for the blues.
A 6-3 victory over Southampton next at St Marys came as bit of a shock. Although they felt in with a chance, they never expected to come away with such a comfortable result.

1-1 and 2-2 draws at home to Burnley & Leeds respectively were results many would have expected Burleys men to have won. Nevertheless, they have now gone unbeaten for 4 games. Momentum was building.

A trip down the a12 & m25 to The Boleyn Ground saw Ipswich beat West Ham 4-3 in a thrilling affair. Ipswich came from behind twice to seal a valuable victory thanks to 2 goals from Federico Bonazzoli in the last 15minutes.

Sitting proudly in 8th place in the Premier league after 7 games is a decent start for the newly promoted side.

Next up would see Ipswich face off against another big team in Man City.
Excitement has been building all week for the visit of the current league champions and their superstars. No matter how tough these games are, this is what the top league is all about. Testing yourself against bigger and better opposition.

Ipswich came out of the Liverpool and Arsenal games with their heads held high as they almost pulled off shock draws in both games. The dominance in the Arsenal game deemed a win. But it wasn’t meant to be.

George Burley will surely be using them games as encouragement for his men as they prepare for what is going to be, a truly exciting game of football.

Sky bet making Ipswich favourites at 2.50 over Man citys 2.62 odds is a strange one.

Although league form may deem these odds acceptable, the shear difference in quality is for all to see.

Phil Dowd is taking charge here today then. 4 yellow cards in his 3 matches so far this season suggests he is happy to allow the game to play on. Neither side should get too carried away though as Dowd is a seasoned professional.

Ipswich kick off, as always, attacking the Sir Bobby Robson end.

12th minute - A near turn on the edge of the area by Daryl Murphy allows him some space for a shot on goal!……
HITS THE POST! ***** Cabalero breathes a sigh of relief as he doesn’t make any attempt of saving the shot.
Positive start for Town!

18th minute - Nasri skips past Chambers and has an attempt on goal!….Easy for Gerken. Nasri just didn’t get enough power behind the shot.

21st minute - Will Hughes collects the ball on the halfway line, runs forward into space. Makes a pass inside to Skuse. Skuse finds Bonazzoli, who turns his marker and plays in Murphy….MURPHY SHOOTS…..ITS A GOALLLLLLLLL.
Ipswich take a surprise lead. They have been the better team so far. Burley is delighted but he is now trying to calm his players down.

Ipswich 1
Murphy '22

Man City 0

25th minute - Aguero shows some dazzling footwork as he dances in between Hyam, Batth & Berra. Through one-on-one….shoots from 12 yards…..SAVEDDDDD. Gerken parries wide. Man city throw. Nothing comes of it.

32nd minute - Hyam, Batth & Berra with some brave defending as they all throw their heads in to make some vital clearances following some dangerous crosses on right by Silva.
Ipswich survive another Man city attack. Man city are really taking the game to Ipswich following that first goal. Can Ipswich hold on until half time to regroup?!?!

33rd minute - Hughes picks up the ball from the clearance and plays inside to Murphy who has a crack at goal!……SAVEDDDD…parried wide…BONAZZOLI WITH THE REBOUNDSSSSSS……SAVEDDDDDDDD. ***** Cabalero makes a fine double save to keep his side in the game.

35th minute - A through ball from Yaya Toure sees Nasri one-on-one, Berra and Chambers are chasing back from either side….NASRI SHOOTS…..WIDEEEEE. Samir Nasri bottling as fabulous opportunity.

42nd minute - Murphy stands over a free kick just outside the Man city box. He runs up….SAVEDDDDD. Straight into the chest of Cabalero. Poor free kick, Burley would’ve liked to have seen better there.

43rd minute - A fine ball from Nasri into the feet of Aguero. Aguero turns Batth and runs wide inside the penalty area with the ball. Chambers closes down!…..PENALTY!!
Rash defending from the Ipswich skipper sees him give away a penalty just before half time!
He can’t have any complaints, he went right through him. What will Phil Dowd issue here….he ticks off Chambers. He was lucky to get away with no cards there!
Aguero will step up to take the penalty he has just earned for his side.
Ref blows…..GOALLLLL. Aguero sends Gerken the wrong way and Man city are level at Portman Road!

Phil Dowd blows for half time. The 2 sides go in all square all 1-1 after goals from Murphy & Aguero.

HALF TIME

Man City 1
Aguero (pen) ‘45

Second Half

Out come both sides for the second half. Pellegrini has taken off Nasri and brought on Edin Dzeko.
A sign of intent by the City manager. This should open the game up a little more for both sides now!

52nd minute - a throw in deep inside the Man city half down the left by Berra, to Hughes. Hughes inside to Hyam who then loses possession. Hughes regains possession straight away plays a simple pass to Skuse. SKUSE PLAYS A SIMPLE PASS DOWN THE MIDDLE TO MURPHY…..MURPHY HAS TIME TO TURN……SHOOTS……GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! Daryl Murphy regains Ipswich’s 1 goal advantage. Portman Road has erupted! Their player of the year and top goalscorer last season is ripping apart the Man City defence!

Ipswich 2
Murphy ‘22, '53

Man City 1
Aguero (pen) ‘45

56th minute - Bad news for Burley as Grealish goes down in a heap.
He will come off Wilson who will be swapped with Hughes. Wilson on the right, Hughes on the left.

62nd minute - Skuse, on his return to the first team today following his injury. Has been absolutely inspiring today. Pulling all the strings in the CM role.
Sets up Murphy for another chance….Murphy turns…..FOR HIS HATTRICK….SHOOTS…..OVER THE BAR. Murphy snatches at his shot after a poor touch on the turn. Skys it well over the crossbar and Man City remain in this game. Half hour left!

63rd minute - A long ball cross field from Navas finds Dzeko unmarked on the EDGE OF THE IPSWICH BOX….PASSES TO HIS LEFT….SILVAAAAAAAAAA…….OFF THE POST!!
Ipswich escape. As predicted with Man cites substitution this game really has opened up. Its end to end at the moment. Both sets of fans are on their feet as soon their team gets the ball. Brilliant game here!

65th minute - Silva wins possession deep inside the Man city half. A long ball forward to Dzeko. He find Aguero, AGUERO FINDS MILNER…MILNER TO NAVAS….NAVAS BACK TO DZEKO INSIDE….DZEKO SHOOTTTSSSSSS…..SAVEDDDD. Gerken relieved to see the ball shot right at him. Routine save for the Ipswich stopper!

70th minute - A long punt forward by Kompany. Aguero chases. Berra stays tight just behind…DONT FOUL…DONT FOUL….AGUERO SHOOTS….OFF THE POST……NAVAS AT THE BACK POST…..cant quite reach the rebounds. Aguero from a tight angle down the right pulls off a powerful shot. Only to find the post, and the power of the shot sees the ball fly past Navas and Wilson picks up the loose ball.

72nd minute - 69th minute substitute Hamsik picks up a loose ball after a decent tackle from Chambers. Plays a ball into Dzeko who’s found space behind the out of position Chambers….SHOOTS…..2-2!…DZEKO EQUALISES and momentum is firmly with City now.

Ipswich 2
Murphy ‘22, '53

Man City 2
Aguero (pen) ‘45
Dzeko '73

73rd minute - Yellow carded Hyam makes way for Collison who will now play CM and Skuse drops into DM.
Frank Nouble comes on for David McGoldrick who’s been quiet all game.

93rd minute - THE REFEREE BLOWS HIS WHISTLE. Ipswich have pulled off a shock 2-2 draw here today. An action packed end to end game could have gone either way. Both sides should be happy with the draw.
Fantastic entertainment here at Portman Road!!

Better to see Teixiera and Baldock get on the scoresheet, all 3 of our goals tonight where great

and not only did we beat you tonight, we also defeated you in your FM game.....COME ON BRIGHTON :P lol

But looked like a great match against Man City

Havnt seen the goals yet! Decent were they?

haha, funny how things work out. I quite often get games on football manager which mirror results which happen irl on that same day.

Obviously Town will be gutted to have lost last night. But McCarthy said he expected a tough game. Even though youre like the opposite end of the table ... ;-) youve still got a decent team. Wernt you in the playoffs last year Sam?

yeah that man city game was epic! Obviously my exciting commentary adds to it a little bit haha :-)

Thanks Dean! Im now putting together some end of season screenshots!

You enjoying this years game? Who have you got a save with at the moment?

Really enjoying this years game mate thanks, currently have a save with Preston as they have a decent squad and some good potential, currently coming to the end of my 1st season and am currently 2nd, with 7 games to go.

Another good read mate, Hughes is a great signing...might be worth taking a look at John Guidetti who I believe is a free at the end of the 1st season as is Micah Richards.

Looking forward to reading more mate, keep up the good work.

Hughes is a great signing
I would suggest playing him in CM though, currently in 2023 (was unemployed on holiday for lots) and Man City signed him and he has been nothing but world class in CM for them. As I only play with AMR wouldn't know who to buy there though. As for Bonazzolli. He is quality, hull signed him, now worth £40mil+ and scoring 20+ goals a season

All 3 of Brighton's goals were great :) yeah this season has been bad all thanks to Hyypia but now with Hughton in charge I am confident in staying up and then pushing for top 6 next season, yeah we was last year and the year before

Nice one! Thats decent! Cant say i know many PNE players since they got relegated from The Championship a few years ago.
Will that be an over achievement then?

Thanks man, this is my first story so not really sure what to add and how much and how often!?!?!
Ive been reading a few others lately, most particularly LIVERPOOL - The 5 year plan!

WOW....the detail this guy puts into his story is amazing. The graphics aswell are just awesome.

Thanks for the advice man. I think for now, im happy with him out wide. Once Skuse gets a bit older il deffo take on your advice.

I had him on the right and left to cover Oxlade and Sterling on my Arsenal save and he was superb. I did play him in the middle a few times! Also, because of his training for Wide midfielder. His defensive attributes improved which made him a decent option for DM too!!
His versatility is phenomenal!

I do like going into the future to see who progresses etc :-)

A big match at Portman Road today as Ipswich welcome Chelsea. Ipswich have been defying all the odds SO FAR this season. Sitting at dizzy height in 7th place. Most recent team to visit Ipswich were the reigning league champions Manchester City. Ipswich done surprisingly well and could have actually won the game on a few occasions. Arsenal also came here on the matchday 2 and struggled. Ipswich dominated but Arsenal ran out winners with a late penalty!
Chelsea are doing as expected. Jose Mourinho missed out of champions league football last season finishing 5th, so the pressure is on for him this year to bring back those champions league nights.

No real surprises with the line-ups today. Ipswich remain unchanged following that impressive 5-1 against Newcastle.
Chelsea have no fresh injury concerns ahead of todays game and have the pleasure of filling their subs bench with an amazing £73.1m worth of talent. Worth more than the whole Ipswich squad being played today. Their really should be no excuses by Jose's men today!

The teams are ready, the ref for today Anthony Taylor is doing the coin toss with the Captains Chambers & Terry.

Chelsea win the coin toss today and decide to switch ends. Leaving Ipswich to attack the Sir Alf Ramsey stand.

HERE WE GO …..

2nd minute - Hazard runs down the left, crosses in TOWARDS COSTAAAAA, COSTA FLICKS ON FOR OSCAR….OSCAR ON THE EDGE OF THE BOX……PLAYS TO HIS RIGHT TO WILLIAN…..WILLIAN…..JOSTLES TO HIS LEFT LOSING BERRA…..WILLIAN SHOOTSSSS………GOALLLLLLL.
Chelsea take an early lead!!

Ipswich 0

Chelsea 1

Willian ‘2

19th minute - Willian with the ball down the right. Has been closed down quickly by Berra! Willian knocks the ball past Berra…WHIPS IT IN……OFF HYAM….OFF THE NEAR POST….and the ball slowly trickles over the line. GOAL. Chelsea lead 2-0 within the first 20minutes.

Ipswich 0

Chelsea 2

Willian ‘2
Hyam o.g ‘20

20th minute - It appears as if Ipswich have changed their shape slightly since conceding the 2nd goal.
It looks like a 442 or a 4411. Chambers has gone to rb, with skuse and batth cb. Berra has gone lb. Murphy has dropped to lm with hughes in cm. Leaving Bonazzoli & McGoldrick in some kind of 2 man attack.
Mourinho said before the game he felt prepared for how Ipswich would line up. Have his mind games worked as Burley changes the shape of his team for first time since coming back to Portman Road at the beginning of last season!

22nd minute - Corner for Ipswich. Murphy takes. Short to Hughes, HUGHES FLOATS TO THE FAR POST…..BATTHHHHHHHHHHHHHH…….GOALLLLLLL. A powerful header from the new summer signing Batth gets Ipswich back into this game now!
2-1 Chelsea now.

Ipswich 1
Batth ‘23

Chelsea 2

Willian ‘2
Hyam o.g ‘20

46th minute - Burley has a lot of players out of position at the moment. Skuse, Berra and Murphy all playing in positions they only partially know. Chambers is slightly out of position too. But is competent at rb.
Will Burley be forced to make a couple changes?

HALF TIME

Ipswich 1
Batth ‘23

Chelsea 2
Willian ‘2
Hyam o.g ‘20

Second Half

Out come the players for the second half. No changes made.

47th minute - Ipswich change of shape seems to have thrown Chelsea a little as Willian is forced to come inside, no options around him and he is forced to pull off a shot…..SAVED. Weak effort from Willian. Ipswich seem like they could get back into this game now.

58th minute - Hazard with the corner, its a long one to Luis, who heads back in towards COSTAAAAA…COSTA BRINGS THE BALL DOWN AND SHOOTS……SAVEDDDD. Gerken will be relieved to see that shot straight at him.

60th minute - Ipswich sub …
Skuse goes to DM. Hyam comes off and Denayer comes to CB.
Murphy has gone up front and Bonazzoli comes off for Collison who switches to CM and Hughes will now operate out of this left hand side. Ipswich have players in familiar positions again. Will this show in the final half hour?
Chelsea sub, Fabregas makes way for Khedira and Costa makes way for Destro.
Two fantastic subs by Chelsea showing the difference in quality compared to Ipswich’s subs.

68th minute - Ipswich have certainly improved since the change of formation. Which i can now confirm IS a 4411 with McGoldrick just behind Murphy.
Chelsea are struggling to find a way through now. A clearance from Batth finds McGoldrick who plays a ball into COLLISON….COLLISON….Plays a gentle pass to his left for the ONRUSHING MCGOLDRICK….MCGOLDRICKKKKKKKKKK….SAVEDDDDD. Parried wide by Courtois. Corner for Ipswich. Nothing comes of it. Chelsea clear.

71st minute - Some good football from Destro, Willian and Oscar as they link up to eventually put HAZARD THROUGH ON GOAL!….HIGH AND WIDE! Hazard misses and the score remain Ipswich 1, Chelsea 2.
Just under 20minutes left of normal time.
One final throw of the dice by Burley as Nouble comes on for McGoldrick.

80th minute - Hazards corner finds its way to the far post….WILLIANNNN….GOALLLLLLL.Willian grabs his second as Chelsea have surely now sealed this victory.

Ipswich 1
Batth ‘23

Chelsea 3
Willian ‘2, ‘80
Hyam o.g ‘20

89th minute - A nice one-two from the corner between Murphy and Hughes. Hughes finds Collison on the edge of the area!….COLLISON SHOOTS….GOALLLLLLL. Ipswich reduce the deficit to 1 goal for a second time today!

Ipswich 2
Batth ‘23
Collison ‘89

Chelsea 3
Willian ‘2, ‘80
Hyam o.g ‘20

Taylor blows the final whistle.

Ipswichs unbeaten run comes an end today. As they lose by the odd goal against one of the better sides in the league again. Burley will be encourage by the fact his side actually won 2-1 since changing formation after going 2-0 down. I bit of food for thought for the Town manager as the players and coaching staff shake hands and walk down the tunell.

Our first 10 league games back in the Premiership sees us win 4, draw 3 and lose 3. A pretty decent return in my eyes. To be fair i would of expected us to beat Burley and Leeds at home. But i wouldnt have expected us to beat Southampton, West Ham and Newcastle all away. The Man city result was a shock too. So in general id definitely say we have over achieved. SO FAR.

View attachment 308164

7th place in the premiership after promotion!....Deje vu for George Burley and many Ipswich fans!!

View attachment 308165

Our next 10 fixtures in the league with an Fa cup 3rd tie in there also. I wont be doing any more commentary for games until the end of the season when things get exciting again.
Hull a, Leicester h, & QPR h are games straight away i see and believe we should win.
WBA a, Sunderland a & Swansea h, possible draws.
Losing to Everton a, Spurs h, Man utd h & Arsenal A.

That would mean i am aiming for a total of 12 points from 30. Leaving us on a grand total of 27pts after 20 games. Which....for a newly promoted side is decent! Another 11 pts to reach to traditional safety mark of 38 pts should secure survival.

I'l come back after the next 10 games with the results and league table. Il have the players current stats. Plus if ive had any standout performances il leave a screenshot of the match.

By the way guys, here is a screenshot of the 4411 tactic i adopted in the Chelsea game. Again, a product from Zero sea!
He made a 442 also. Its good because its basically the same as the 343L except the shape is different so its fluid straight away if you havnt been training it with your 343L.
View attachment 308159
One change i made to it was Complete wing backs are Full backs for me.

Obviously ive had a 343 all last season and only have centre backs and no real wing backs of first team quality. Im going to retrain chambers and berra to full backs leaving Denayer and batth in the middle.

Mings should be ready to step up soon so he can slot in ab LFB when needed.

Hope you guys are still enjoying reading this thread.

Feedback, praise, positive criticism is all welcome. I like to discuss new ideas.

What do you think of the change of tactics?

Its something il be using against the so called "bigger sides".
Do you think this is a good decison? Should i use it any other specific games?

Nice story. keep it up. Ipswich fan liking the progress so far, champions in a couple of seasons hopefully

Champions league in a couple of season doesnt seem a bad shout to be fair. Im playing well against the big sides. Still a few more decent additions would help massively.

Im wondering whether getting into the Europa league or Champions league TOO SOON would damage us though?
Not having a big enough squad to cope with all the extra games could damage our league form.
Do you think a few seasons of mid table would be best?

Nice to hear from another Town fan :-) We are having an awesome in real life arent we!?!

You got an Ipswich save on the go on fm at the moment then?

So....Aston Villa offered me the vacant managers job.

View attachment 308133
View attachment 308134View attachment 308135

Aston Villa are ranked slightly higher than me in the reputation rankings. But with the same amount of stars, i see this something we can soon change!

Valuation of the club and finances wise, Aston Villa are richer than us by over £300m.

These are things which on any other day could maybe sway me.

But as its IPSWICH TOWN! AND it would of course contradict the whole point of the story! I will happily say no!

The whole point of this story is to consolidate Ipswich in the premiership .... which unfortunately, Burley couldn't do last time round.
Once that has been achieved. The aim would then be too replicate the success of two Ipswich and England greats.
Sir Bobby Robson & Sir Alf Ramsey!
Bobby Robsons history in the hall of fame i could find.
Alf Ramseys i could not.

View attachment 308137

Bobby Robson won Ipswich the FA cup in 1978 and the Euro cup in 1981. So a very successful spell for Ipswich under his guidance.

View attachment 308132
Although i cant find Alf Ramseys history in the hall of fame. This screenshot shows his Legend status at the club!

Some details from Ramseys time at the club just below copied from Wikipedia.

Ipswich Town

He retired from playing in 1955 to become manager of Ipswich Town. He guided the Suffolk-based side to third place in the Third Division South in his debut season, the side scoring 106 goals in the 46 league fixtures. Ramsey's second season in charge led to the division title, Ipswich's second at that level, and promotion to the Second Division.
The Suffolk-based side established themselves at the Second Division level for the following three seasons with mid-table finishes. Ramsey also managed his side to moderate success in the FA Cup, reaching the Fifth Round in the 1958–59 season. After three seasons of mid-table finishes, the fourth brought further success to Portman Road as Ramsey guided the Blues to the Second Division title and into the top flight for the first time in the club's history.
Ramsey's Ipswich achieved unprecedented success the following season as he led his side to the Championship in their debut season at the top level. The side had been tipped by virtually all contemporary football pundits and journalists for relegation at the start of the season, making the achievement arguably one of the most remarkable in the history of the League.
Ramsey's tactical astuteness, working with a squad of solid but not outstanding players, baffled and astonished the illustrious football clubs against whom Ipswich were playing. Ramsey had found the style he would take to the England job the following April; choosing players to fit his system on the pitch. He left Ipswich Town on 29 April 1963 after eight seasons having guided them from the Third Division South to the very top of English football.

So all in all, once i have won the Fa cup, Euro cup and the Premiership. I can then decide to move on if i wish. Once i emulated the like of Robson and Ramsey. The next goal will be to make George Burley the most successful Scottish manager in the world. In turn making him the most successful manager altogether.
Whether that be at Ipswich or elsewhere its sure to be an interesting challenge which can surely keep this thread going and eventually gain more interest!!

Its December 1st. The January transfer window is approaching faster than i can care to remember!!

With Murphy declining gradually as a footballer due to his age. Ive decided to start scouting the following strikers as potential signings.
Murphy has still been getting amongst the scorers and performing well which is awesome. But i do need more depth in that position to be fair.

Bonazzoli is going to improve as the season and years go on so hes is a definite starter.

McGoldrick is another striker il probably be looking to replace.

Ideally if i can get two strikers in that would be superb. They may not have to start right away. But with Murphy declining and no real decent back up strikers for rotation. Im going to need a few more recruits.

Ive highlighted the false nine attributes as all 3 of my strikers have this role in my formation.

Ideally on the left i will have a left footer, right, a right footer and in the centre it doesnt particularly matter. If im being fussy, either foot would be great.

View attachment 308116

Paulo Dybala. An Argentina striker who is 22 years old. Still very young with lots of time to grow.
His stats look good for this role. His finishing and agility could be better. But theres plenty of time to increase these. Valued at £3.7m, there could be reasonable price tag on this guy!

View attachment 308115

Cauley Woodrow. Everybody knows this guy. Has the potential to be world class! Although i havnt seen anybody yet who has said how good he can get. In the saves ive done, hes never stood out 4/5 years down the line. Has decent stats and his physical attributes stand out for me. I would love someone in the middle who can use either foot. But to have someone big and strong like Murphy would also be good for my side. English which would suit my team. Considering nearly every player in my side are British or Irish. Price tag is likely to be stumbling block.

View attachment 308119

Angelo Henriques. Im pretty sure this guy can become pretty amazing. His stats are superb for the false nine role. With his contract running out at the end of the season and only a valuation of £2.7m. A cheap sale could be on the cards. One of my favourites from the list. Taking into account the clubs finances. Im hoping if i can stay in the top half, the board will back me and increase my transfer budget after blowing it all in the summer.

View attachment 308113

Brayan Perea. First time ive come across this player if im honest. But i like his stats. 6 foot 2 and really good physical attributes are a huge plus....no pun intended.
At £2.7m and only £5.75k p/w wages, this guy could prove to be another decent signing for a small fee!!

View attachment 308117

Bojan. The Barcelona wonderkid who never made it at Barcelona. For whatever reason he just never made it at Barcelona. I remember on previous FM's he was the first striker alot of people would buy. Was shipped out on loan to Roma AC Milan and Ajax and still never got given a solid chance as far as i remember.
Stoke took a punt and signed him last season. Played just 1 league game last and failed to score.
He still has decent stats. Could be picked up for a cheap fee. Dont like how high his wages are at the moment though!

View attachment 308114

Stefano Beltrame, another player i havnt come across yet. Looks fairly decent. Would be a cheap option, but i fancy a few of the others above over this guy. I am scouting this guy just like all the others over the next month to see which one has the best ability/potential and adaptability to a new country!

View attachment 308118

Connor Wickham! ... The one that got away. His potential was through the roof when he was at Ipswich as an 18 year old. It was no surprise to see so many premiership clubs after his signature.
He moved on to Sunderland and since hasnt really made his mark as yet. According to his 'information' screen. He can still become the next Alan Shearer.
Might possess a rather big transfer fee and his wages are high!
Will be keeping a close eye on his scouting reports. Would be good for the thread to see him return to Ipswich!
His stats are still decent. When he was at Ipswich i remember his work rate being incredible. Always chasing down really going for it. Reminded me of when Ipswich had Jonathan Walters.

What do you guys think of my transfer targets?

Any there in particular you think i should sign before anyone else?

Is there somebody im missing out on?

I still dont know if il be backed in the window yet. So all this scouting could be for no reason. But even so, possible targets for next season if i finish strongly.

Opinions, good and bad welcome.
