So I am still getting the challenge I wanted. Rostock are a club who many don't seem fit for the Bundesliga. They had been playing in the German third division for a long time and a few seasons ago they got promoted to the second division. Last season they managed to win it.

They currently lie bottom of the league and with only 2 wins from 17 it looks like it will be a tough job sorting the team out. I'm aiming to avoid relegation this season and see where we go from there.

The german takeover is real again! (soon enough hopefully)

Good luck on Rostock!

YESSS!!!! I cant believe it! I was so hoping you'd go for NUFC seeing how low down they'd fallen. Howay!!

I'm so glad that the story didn't end there. I know it may become boring after a while (for you) but for us, the readers, it will never happen.
Keep up the good work, mate.
Cheers!

I'd not really had much of a chance to meet the lads before our first game so I selected a pretty basic XI from my knowledge of the side to start. Without seeing them in training it's pretty hard to change things around. Funnily enough our first game was against Borrusia Dortmund, my old club and Germany's elite club at this moment of time.

It was a hard one to take. We lost 4-0 but we did play some okay football. It was never going to be easy against this Dortmund side, and with us being bottom no one really seen any other outcome. I was on the receiving end of a Schrock hat-trick and it was not pleasant, but what a player he is.

I met up with the team after the match, I received an extremely warm welcome from the players. Both squads had a meal with each other and they wished us all the best for the rest of the season. Jurgen Klopp reinsured me I would keep this team up.

"Make sure they fight for you like you know they can, and you will stay up. You're a miracle worker and we know you can do this."

I had a genuine feeling that everyone at Dortmund wanted us to succeed, it was lovely to see the appreciation they still had for me, and for my new team.

We're 7 points a drift from 17th at the bottom, so we do have some work to do now.

It's not great viewing for our fans to see that we have not won a game in 12 matches. The league is proving to be hard for most of the players and the fans, but I am looking at turning things around here. Dortmund was never going to be a win, but I do have a feeling we can give it a go. We're halfway through the season so we have plenty of time to turn things around.

We have a decent sized squad but it's not a strong one. I'm hoping we can survive this season and then the next season we can push on to improve the squad. We have 4 days left in the transfer window and with no transfer funds I'm only expecting one or two free agents to come in.
