My laptop crashed about 5 minutes after posting that Mangala post, probably will have deleted January's save so far, I'm going to wait to get the laptop fixed before I carry this story on, it is the worst not being able to play FM!! A comfortable win as expected. The team played really well and some of the moments of passing play that were put together were unbelievable. I like these games as much as any as it gives me a chance to experiment with the fringe players and see if they could perform regularly! I'm back!

A short loan which will definitely be beneficial for the second half of the season. Mangala has some experience which will help the side, and as I have slightly tweaked the way we are seeing out games in a 3-1-4-2 formation, I feel more centre back cover is needed.

This is the game we needed to win! Great performance from the team to hang in when they needed to and to take their chances. Negredo was on another level yet again and got another hat trick! Which takes him up to 23 goals this season!

As good as he has been, I couldnt say not to this. There were a few reasons, the price was just too much for his quality, and he would not sign a contract extension and wanted 120,000 a week towards further discussions. His form has been exceptional and he will be missed in this side, but we will now look for a replacement and with our form I'm sure we will be able to attract high quality players!

Very good money isnt it! Theyve paid 59 million this season for two of my players. The board havent give much back to me to be fair, but I have some nice little business on its way hopefully!

5-0 and it's beginning to look like nobody can stop us! We played the ball around the park amazingly and we were untouchable all game. I give Negredo 45 minutes as we have Atletico in the cup up next, and Blaszcykowski made his debut for the first 45 minutes too bagging an assist, looks like a great replacement for Feghouli!

The ball and the net did just not want to meet today, we dominated the match but we have now put ourselves in a tough situation, we must get something out of the next game. Even though we beat them at their back garden last time, it was safe to say we were lucky.

What a debut for Perez! He bagged two beautiful goals and controlled the midfield all game! We have won our last 5 league games now but still can't manage to catch up to Madrid or Barca, if we keep this up we will definitely be close!

Annoyed to throw this away so easily! We were 2 up and our heads had gone, I told them not to get complacent and that's exactly what they did. Nevertheless, this tournament was not something I was aiming for this season, I have bigger targets, but it still would have been nice to win!

The winning streak goes on, Bas Dost has hit some form now and is proving his worth for such a small transfer fee we brought him in for!

We enjoyed a busy January by picking up 12 out of 12 points in the league, it was disappointing to go out the Spanish Cup but it also wasnt the end of the world. Here is the top half of the table after this months results:

We find ourselves 7 points off the top and 5 points off second. Although they do have a game in hand. Sevilla are 9 points behind us but again have a game in hand but we have managed to climb a massive 11 points above Atletico Madrid meaning that have a mountain to climb if they want to knock us out of the race for the top 4! And to top the month off, here is our updated transfer history!

I let Javi Fuego go towards the end of the month as he was taking up a chunk of the wage budget and not playing. I feel that the sale of Feghouli for £34 million was an amazing bit of business, and re-investing the money on 3 cheap bargains in Huddelstone, Perez and Blaszcykowski has improved the squad massively! Hopefully the money we have made from this will help the club financially in the long run, as the funds we seem to have do not reflect how big the club actually is!
