Beaten by the better side, but the scoreline waas very flattering for the Catalans! Catching up to the top two is out of the question, our goal is to cement 3rd spot and hopefully win the Europa League!

My first every European Knockout game as manager, and what a game it was! Complete end to end action and full of drama! In the end, it was a great scoreline but the game deserved more of a draw, but I am not complaining. Dost bagged his 10th goal of the season, and for 800k he really has stepped up when needed. Negredo himself is now on 28. Im not sure how long he will be at the club though as he is demanding £150,000 per week and we simply can't afford it!

It only says 9 men as 3 players got injured at the end! Hopefully nothing serious! We smashed it! Negredo took himself to a magical 31 goals this season with a quality hat trick, I give Piatti a game as he asked me to and he performed incredibly. It seems that even when I play someone who is on the fringes of the starting XI that they will play on top form!

Not good enough! Of all games to slip up too, a win today could have put us 12 points clear of 5th place. Here is how it is now.

I cant help but look at this and feel disappointed. If we pull it off and end up third at the end of the season it wont matter, but this race could have already been out of reach. Now I need to make sure we do not get complacent!

Just what we needed after these hard couple of weeks. A nice win. Negredo was on fire again, and is currently topping Ronaldo and Messi in the goalscorers charts. Something not many players tend to do.

What a turn around! 2 goals in the last 12 minutes give us massive boost and a big advantage going into the second leg! Monaco are currently top of the league so it's not an easy place to go right now! Hopefully the home fans get behind us and we get the result we want!

Thanks! We're getting there! Now we are in the last 8 of the Europa League I hope I can go on and win it! The challenge to stay in the top 4 will be more difficult as we have Real Madrid next. And Atletico and Sevilla are only 2 and 3 points behind me now!

Rumour has it that Real Madrid are lining up a £28 million bid on Nicolas Otamendi. The Argentine centre half has been in superb form for Valencia this season, and has even added 4 goals from the back. The club captain is said to be considering his options as there are not many chances that Madrid come knocking. Jamie Carragher has reportedly targeted former team mate Martin Skrtel as a replacement.​
 
Laptop is ****** again, paid someone to fix it and they clearly never, sending it back but this story will be on hold again which is grim because the season look's like it's about to get interesting. Hopefully it will be back! Sorry again...
