I'm sad that Everton destroyed your career like that, if only you could tell your player not to make silly decisions like that, and you could have stayed at Zaragoza

Aye that's what I'm thinking. I'm just hoping my manager has decent potential, it's like starting all over again haha. I have the in game editor which I forgot to disable but I refuse to use it in anyway and have just let my manager play out his career.

Everton have frustrated me, I still believe my player could've gone on for a long time if he never joined them, ah well.

Thanks! I feel people will be less interested now that I am a manager I will give it a few goes but will sim two seasons for now, if I feel it won't have the same enjoyment as it was when I was a player. I will leave it and may spring a story from that and where my player left off

That's really cool see the progression your guy made. I've never screenshotted any of my youngsters and then compared them at the peak when playing as a manager.

Mate if Charlie McGhee can have half as storied a career as Mr Fuendes I will be stoked!

I have a question though. Did your player in the game decide it was time to retire himself? Or did you change it in the editor so he retired?

You seem to have landed on your feet though. The Peterborough gig is not a bad place to start.

Would love to see Mr Fuendes' career continue as a "traditional" manager story but for now its time for us all to sit back & reflect on the ups & downs of a wonderful career.

Wow, what a career! It looked like you were going to have a long career well into your 30s during your Zargoza spell, its a shame you didnt stay there to be honest. Can't wait for whatever comes next!
 
That was awesome mate, really enjoyed that! I can't believe you retired so young and that Everton basically ruined your career! Really impressive career though, never quite took the final step up but still a great player and a bit of an assist machine!

Retired himself, I was hoping for a return to Spain haha.

A couple of seasons ago, I saw Barca were interested and was hoping he'd join cos it would've been good for the story haha

Thank you a lot! I was pretty gutted, at Zaragoza I was hoping I could stay there and finally build myself up to be a key player in a good team and retire in my mid 30's :(

When you say traditional manager, you mean as in a proper manager story haha? My brain is out of it today.

I was close at Zaragoza to becoming a real important player but I saw the money and ran with it, hopefully I don't retire early as a manager. Apart from Barcelona where ever I played regularly I got assists and that was good to see
 
Wow guys, it may seem easy to say this but coming on to see these comments have really made me feel happy, I love the amount of support this story had even though it was short run, I'll still be continuing as a manager for now and then may do it as me being Fuendes and carry on his career.

It did! I'm gutted I had to move to a team that wouldn't play me :(
 
When the in-game Fuendes retires from management, you pick up from where he left off :P that would be awesome but take lots of simming haha
