We're taking on a champion; at both youth and senior level!
Spain are goign to be this squads biggest test and if we beat
them today, one one can say we don't deserve our place at the
finals tournament.

Mate great result there!! Beating the mighty Spain - Well done!!

Oh my! Wonders being worked in Scotland!

I know. I still cant quite believe how this save is turning out! :D
I expected the Scotland U19s job to just be a stop between to gain experience but I'm loving my time with them :)

Bring on my first major(minor) competition.

In preperation for our unexpectaded qualification to the UEFA U19s European Championship,
I've sceduacelde a friendly agasint Turkey U19; which will be played in Rugby Park,
Kilmarnock, Scotland.

This will give the boys a real test and should help prepare them for the Finals tourrnemant.
The groups will be drawn on June 11th and the competition is due to begin on July 18th.

Interesting to see Georgia made it as well, think you definitely got the better group. Good luck.

They;re the host nation so they got an automatic-bye.
I'm expecting them to finish bottom and me and England to fight for second place.

We touched down at Tbilisi Airport at 2:00AM local time.
I knew the lads were tired so I booked a training session for 3PM
the following day. We'll be playing 2 of our 3 group B games in the
Capital so I wanted them to get used to it. The two big ones will
be here: Italy U19s and England U19s'.

Our third games is being played in the south; only a 30 minute train
journey from Tbilisi so we've gotten off lightly on the traveling front.
I'm hoping these small differences can prove the difference!

Any specific plans on how to deal with the 3 up top for the Italians?

Always interests me to see how different people set about solving what is essentially the same problems.

If you don't mind a bit of tactics talk of course ;)
