so far, ive used this tactic with Arsenal, and I ve been getting shat on by Man utd and Chelsea, barely scraping by Celtic and Sporting during CL group stages. wth lol.

ive bee tweaking around with player roles up top and in the mid. what i found was that if switch a CM from supporting to Advanced Playmaker (ie. Fabregas) he will do well.

overall... i think ill revert back to my old 4-5-1

bah, idk what it is ... i just scraped another 1-0 win against 14th place Portsmouth!! LOL. and the lone goal was from my RCB off a corner -____- i feel like im the only one experiencing this dificulty to score...

This is a spin off from the V3 total Football but with some improvements.

As well as some ajustments to the overall tactic i have now made an away tactic to go with it. Home tactic for home games and away tactic for away game. Simple ^^)



TESTING

I tested with Heerenveen for a season then moved to a struggling Fiorentina midway through the 2nd season.

At Heerenveen i won the Dutch League,Dutch Cup and Europa League.

In half a season at a mid table Fiorentina i won the Italian cup,Europa League and get them to a 2nd place finish in the league.


PLAYER KEY ATTRIBUTES

1x GK. Reflexes,Handling,One on Ones.

3x CBs. Marking,Heading,Concentration.

1x DM. Tackling,Strength,Teamwork.

2x CMs. Passing,Tackling,Workrate.

1x AM. Acceleration,Creativity,Dribbling.

3x Poachers. Finishing,Pace,Acceleration.

PITCH SIZE: SMALLEST

TRAINING: DEFAULT

TEAMTALKS: WOIFSONGS

OPPOSITION INSTRUCTIONS: NONE.

Make sure you give your side time to gel,as a guide to how well your team are blended go to Assistant manager advce then teamtalk feed back,there it will tell you what understanding level your team is at.

I know it's Madrid blah blah blah

but just did the treble first season, drawing 4 in league losing none winning 4-1 in champs league final...have tried it with Leicester a few times with mixed results wanted to try a more technically gifted team and well...blows teams away.
 
I'm just curious as to what you did with Sagna, Clichy, Gibbs, Traore, and Eboue in your Arsenal save. I find it hard to watch those first two just rot on the bench when they have no place in the tactic, especially when they're two of the better players in their position.

I do like the tactic though. I beat United 3-0 in my first match.

You can either re-train them in positions they can play or you can sell them which i did and bought player i could use with the money.
 
Here are some Screenshots of my 2nd season at Fiorentina using the V3.1.

Dudu has been superb for me,also check out my defence,its been very solid as you can see.
 
Going to test it with my new Sunderland save. . . It's not going to work as well as the other test's as they have better teams, but I'll see how it goes :)
 
Fantastic stuff there JP. I've been trying it out with FC United of Manchester (level 9 of the English system I think). Currently top with Played 7 Won 7 record

Nice going. You using the 3.1 home and away?
 
Been using this for 7 seasons with Portsmouth now. Won the league the last 5 times and won the champions league twice, as well as massively increasing the value of the club and managing it's debt. All down to this amazing tactic =]

Maybe you should take over from Avram? Which are you using, V3 or V3.1?
 
Finished my season with Fiorentina.

Ended up being very easy. I think having a Home and Away tactic confused the AI sometimes when they try and scout your style:

Won everything except Italian cup (beat in final Vs Juventus on pens :'( )

Been using V.3 although i did make a small change, i switched the complete forward to an attacking target man, i think it adds a bit more to the team. Also i made very few big signings, got some INCREDIBLE regens through =]
 
Ok last update from me, been using JP's tactic since I started with Las Palmas in 2009/10.

Finally managed to win the La Liga after 7 attempts at it. Although it came down to the wire, with three games left I was a point ahead of Atleti and they went and hammered me 5-0 but thankfully they went and lost an easy game against Sporting which allowed me to sneak ahead and claim the Championship with an impressive 96 points.

I was quite impressed with my net transfer spend as well, since winning the league I've went a little overboard on some signings but previously I had only spent £15,000,000 more than I had brought in.

I can't on my Napoli game, as I've only really got DM's, CM's and AMC's cause thats all I needed, and my new tactic is narrow so.

Um.. I can still try it tho? Send me the link and I'll test it for you :)
 
Would not work with my Napoli team. Hamsik and VDV are my key players in the middle of the park and need them in AMC.

I'll still try it with some other team tho?
