JPWoody:
Do you do anything away from home? Changing starting mentality or what so ever?

Cheers

Hey, brilliant tactic, playing as Wolves in the first season, got to march so far in 5th place :D with Steven Fletcher with 30 goals, and Doyle with 15, and over 30 assists between O'Hara and Vargas (transfer), thanks a lot!

Cool, which version?

When you mean "pitch - go for small" , you mean the smallest? I tried your tatic with Real Madrid and Benfica, and it totally failed for me :(

Yes small means use the smallest. And if the tactic failed with Real Madrid you're doing something very wrong. I mean i even won the Champions League with Middlesbrough using it.

When you play a lower league team, what is the most important attributes for the complete forward?

cheers

Just use whatever you can get hold of, cant really be too choosy in lower league. Play the bigger stronger forward as the CF and the quicker one as poacher.

This tactic its the best i have ever tried! I like the 4-4-2 formation, the style, movement and the beautifull soccer my team preform...

Thanks JP.

one question, do u see all the matches in 2d? or to have a quick season u do something else?

Commentary only on very quick. I watch the goals afterwards.

how do u do that? of seeing the goals afterwards... (can u explain please?)

that could be a good idea just cause i see all the games in 3d and a season takes a lot to finish ;s

you only see 3d games in the fly if they are very important?

Awesome tactic.... Im Wigan 2 seasons 2 6th place finishes and Carling cup winners in the first season!!!! In the 3rd season now hoping 4 champions league spot.. Strikers scores loads even Simeon Jackson, Bradley Wright Philipps and now Patrick Helmes... I know not he best names but great on my budget...

On the match screen click exit TV view.

Click Match controls.

Replays - none

Highlight mode - commentary only

Then move Match speed up to 2 notches off full.

To watch the goal after the match click on the minute the goal was scored next to the scorer.

Which version, the 4231 or the 442?

I am using the 4-4-2 in my second season with Wolves, I got relegated first season in a Connor esque fashion, I was out of my depth in coming up with a tactic myself. This tactic is lethal on the break, dangerous, fantastic if you can get the right front 4 which I have in Jarvis, Fletcher, Doyle & Hammill.

After 41 games I have already secured promotion and the title with an astonishing 101 points. I also won the carling cup beating Norwich away, Bolton at home and Arsenal over two legs in the semis. I beat them 5-1 at their place which was incredible, granted they did put out a weak 11, typical Wenger. I won West Brom 5-1 in the final which was superb for a fan of Wolves too.
I have also scored 124 goals. Fletcher has 33 of them, Doyle 19, Jarvis 13, Ebanks Blake 10 and Delfounso who I brought in on loan also has 8. It’s been a ******* cruise in truth.

I will report back when I am at this point next year (game time obv) but so far so good, granted it is the best squad in the league as I managed to retain the top players but very pleased, thanks JP. The only change I have made which is minor is changing tackling to default, as i do like a feeling of “getting stuck in” to my sides and i just felt at times the players were a bit toothless.
As I say though, fantastic so far and I have premier league football and Europe to look forward to for next season but I will definatly need to improve my squad and I also have a slight fear of the defensive side, an away/defensive version could be introduced maybe?
