Tackling on default? that's 6 players on hard tackling, too much for me but glad its working for you and pleased you're enjoying it. As for the away tactic I've never felt the need. Certainly not with the 442. With the right players and teamtalks you will win away regular. I certainly have been.
 
I think i'm going to stop putting this tactic off and just try it now.

I'm getting sick and tired of plug and play power tactics that are extremely good for one game, winning 6-0 and 7-0, and then all of a sudden getting battered by city (or dortmund at home :@) by like 4-0 with no reply. I'd rather use a tactic like this which is consistent and gets you good wins all the time and the occasional realistic loss. My problem is not losing, its losing and playing like absolute **** which plug and play tactics do sometimes.

Rant Over: I think I will start to give these simple tactics a try (both woodys and raikans) and eventually use them to learn more about the tactic creator so I can make my own simple and effective tactics without having to wait for mr hough or satorox (for example) to release wonder tactics. This is in no way discrediting the works of hough and such, it's just i have lost my love for the game using SOMEONE ELSES tactics and getting angry when SOMEONE ELSES tactic doesn't work for me :)

Alright mate, OMG cant believe you not tried this tactic yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:O
 
everyone is praising this tactic for consistent results, i must be doing something very wrong.

Im playing as SIK in danish d1 and my results are just sooooooo inconsistent its untrue. 1st season, by xmas was 1st, not smashing everyone but holding my own, after xmas, nothing changed, yet i lost about 9 in a row and dropped to finish 9th, out of 12!!

just cannot understand what im doing wrong

Its not you mate or team, this tactic just might not suite your team not every tactic works for every team.
 
The 4-2-3-1 formation, now trying a season with Man Utd, sold most middle aged players (vidic, carrick, berba, park) and got some youngsters such as muniain, absolutely dominating it!

thanks for the reply mate, i do appreciate that fact. i was hoping i could use it to better understand how to construct my own.

im a fan of llm, but find it difficult to challenge the bigger boys. i fully understand that i shouldnt expect to beat man utd with fleetwood, but i just hoped to at least provide a competative game

muniain is beast always my first buy! How come sold vidic,carrick,berba,and park mate all are good for couple of seasons and are good tutors for young players.

Yeah well frustrating tried a few llm saves and could never find consistent tactic even tried moderfying a few but never worked:@

yep got it in one there lol still i find it most satisfying to turn a little club into the countries top club :)

always will have man utd saves though :):)

I'm an idiot. I've been looking everywhere for a tactic that provides the results you have been posting in your photos. I think the main thing that has put me off is that long shots isn't on rarely, so i always assume "oh everyone is going to be shooting from the half way line" LOL.

Right! What do you do for team talks? OI? Match prep? Workload?
(i realise a lot of this is in the op, but i want to imitate everything you have done)

Lastly, is this tactic good enough for lower league? eventually i want to start a journeyman save but ill start with madrid for now i think!

match prep attack movement
workload very high in pre seas then avrage during season
heard mixed results about llm saves and tried this with madrid and did not get results got with united!

Hmm, ill have to give it a go for myself. What was the issue at madrid for you?

Have you tried the 442 btw?

Would start new save mate. Tried for a season but seem to loose quite alot more games i think flat 442 is very incosistent tactic in fm12 due to the AI or somethin
