Great transfers! Papadopoulos is one of the best CBs, he'll be first choice in no time. I always make it a point of presence to sign Wilshere. At the moment I've ridiculously overpaid on wage to get him because I just need him, there's no complete young flair/skill apart from Young and possibly Rooney. I've gone all English, right from the start, hoping he'll fill my AMC hole. I think Ben Arfa is more of an AML than Wilshere though.

AUGUST
A good start to the season was had as we picked up 2 trophies by defeating Man City and Barcelona (reserves lol). Unfortunately we slipped up in the league by drawing away to Stoke so all was not perfect.
In the Champions League we have been drawn alongside Barcelona, Zenit and Austria Wien so we should progress from that group although we have been drawn away to Chelsea in the Capital One Cup.

(Newcastle United won 3-2 on penalties)
Another trophy is collected. We were 3-1 up at half-time and were 3-3 by the 50th minute somehow but we won it on penalties. Wilshere got 2 assists on his debut which bodes well.

SEPTEMBER
This month started brilliantly but ended horribly with us losing 2 games in the league and with Barcelona being our next opponents this loss of form and confidence could be crippling. Having said that before we went away to Man City and Spurs we looked unstoppable with Sissoko, Cisse and Wilshere hitting top form.
Next month should be interesting!

OCTOBER
We got back on track this month even though we were knocked out of the Capital One Cup. In the league we won all our games including a great away win at Liverpool and in Europe we beat Barcelona and the Austrian minnows.
Youngsters Fierro, Campbell, Hughes and Bigirimana got plenty of game time too this month which bodes well for the future.

Apart from a defeat against Man Utd this was a perfect month! We banged in a load of goals and even on away in the derby against Sunderland. I also agreed to sign 2 teenagers - a 15y/o from Northern Ireland who will join in January and a 15y/o Paraguayan who will join in 2018!
In other news Aston Villa, Fulham, WBA and Swansea all sacked their managers. Laudrup is now at Villa, Redknapp at WBA, Jol at Swansea and Rosler is at Fulham!!

I've been a silent reader on quite a few of your stories, pretty awesome on all of them. Winning the Premier League in the first season as Newcastle is very impressive too, well done

DECEMBER
We end the year top of the league thanks to 5 wins and 1 draw this month and the fact we have played more times than anyone else. We got a point away to Chelsea and a win over Arsenal so we came through unscathed in our toughest league games.
In Europe although we lost to Barca we still topped the group and will play Atletico Madrid in the next round which should be an even encounter. We have been drawn away to Everton in the FA Cup so that will be tough also.
Liverpool sacked Pellegrini and appointed Roberto Martinez who left West Ham.

JANUARY
An excellent month where we won every single game and opened up a 5pt gap at the top of the table. I received a boost when the board offered me £30m if I changed my target to challenging for the title so I did the honourable thing and spent it!!!
I tried to get Bernard, Shaw, Rodrigo, Walcott and Muniain but I couldnt afford any of them or in Shaw's case wasnt prepared to pay the fee. Firstly I agreed to sign Andrea Poli on a free at the end of the season. He will be loaned out and sold at a profit.

FEBRUARY
Not much to shout about this month as we only scored 5 goals and only conceded 1. However we did manage to defeat Atletico Madrid to take charge of our Champions League tie. Unfortunately we couldnt take charge of our FA Cup tie as my backup side were held to a draw.
