A fantastic month this. We destroyed Man City even though we went down to ten men early in the 2nd half. We also destroyed Arsenal as we put our foot on the gas and dominated games. The backup players did their job against Schalke and Leeds so everything is looking good!

Looking good already in the season. Man City always there which is a pain, never get it too easy haha.
Quick question though. What is the Newcastle Youth like? As in World Class, Nealy World Class, Average etc. Seem to find some good players coming through.

Klippybo, going into 3rd season as atletico, won la liga both seasons, champs league season 2, european super cup, spanish cup twice, why oh why do I not get international job offers... How long do you normally have to wait to get them?

Keep an eye out after the comps (African Nations) but going into the 3rd season you will find some come up in Oct/Nov time for teams that dont qualify but if you hang on til the summer some other ones will come up after the World Cup. I only apply for the one that I want but some nations still offer me jobs out of the blue (Croatia twice, Turkey, Holland and Scotland).

I have exceptional junior coaching and extensive youth recruitment but I havent had a world class player come through yet. Christou is good and Johnson looks decent but thats about it.

Thanks a lot, really hoping I get a European offer from say Denmark, Finland, Italy, Germany... Want a nation thats a bit of a challenge and where I am not overly familiar with their players, dont want to manage england from the off but eventually, although as my manager is Eric Cantona an offer from France might be more appropriate!

NOVEMBER

Newcastle hit 10 past Reading
Newcastle top Champions League group
Newcastle to play Sheffield United in the FA Cup
Italy disappointing in friendlies

Goals, goals, goals, goals and more goals lol. We went goal crazy this month, putting 10 past Reading, 6 past Schalke and even 4 past Everton with 9 men! We ended up averaging 4 goals a game over the month.

Incidentally I have been playing Jack Rodwell as Cabaye's replacement and he has been doing great - set up 4 against Reading - I have also been training him up to play cb but I have an eye on another bargain buy so we will see what happens in January;)

You will struggle to get the German job unless your German but there are many jobs that come up for you to choose from.

DECEMBER

Newcastle retain the FIFA Club World Cup
Sunderland beaten in the derby
Newcastle get Inter Milan in the Champions League
Italy get drawn against Argentina, Ivory Coast and Japan in the Confederations Cup

We keep chugging along strong! We got a fine victory in the derby over Sunderland before going off to compete in the Club World Cup which wasnt really a contest. Then in the league cup we fell behind twice but overcame Man City to get to the semis to play Stoke.

Got a bit of a problem though (albeit a good one) - while checking my players I found a few who are wonderkids that are nowhere near the first team. For the record my current wonderkids are:

FIRST TEAM
Andreas Christou
Edwin Mulugeta (been one for 3 years lol)
Jens Rutkowski
Cosimo Accordino
Johannes Bonimeier

RESERVES

Dany Fontaine
Dusan Kubicek (cb who is 5th choice)
Jose Miguel Suero (1000th choice lw lol)
Dariusz Wasikowski (cb who is 6th choice)

And that list doesnt include the likes that were wonderkids until just recently like Boonen, Niang, Butland etc

JANUARY

Theo Walcott arrives from Arsenal for £6.5m and he scores on his debut
Newcastle to play Wolves in the Capital One Cup final
I cancel links with PAOK and Maccabi Haifa but we get one with Fenerbahce
Oxlade-Chamberlain out for 3-4 months

Another great month with lots happening. Firstly we brought in the transfer listed Theo Walcott for £6.5m. I had him in fm11 and he was a beast there so here's hoping that he can do well - he has startd off well anyways! He joins fellow ex-Gunners Ramsey and Chamberlain.

Results wise we had some great games. We put 6 past Fulham and had 2 disallowed, got a hard fought draw against Man Utd then put 4 past Liverpool. We also progressed comfortably in both cup competitions with a final against Wolves to look forward too.

We did bring in 1 other player with a 17y/o midfielder coming in from PSV for £2m.

Leaving the club are many. Flemming Mikkelsen was sold to Burnley for £1.1m. I recalled Andy Carroll and couldnt flog him so loaned him to Fenerbahce. Nathan King was loaned to Bolton and I recalled Shin Dae-Il from Genk and put him up for sale. I got bids from Liverpool, Roma and Valencia for £12m so I decided to loan him to Stoke instead for £1m just incase! lol. Here is his screenie:

For moves that didnt come off I rejected a £16m bid for Berjulet from Barcelona and £4m from Sporting Lisbon for Fontaine.

FEBRUARY

Newcastle beat Wolves to win the Capital One Cup
We throw away a three goal lead to Burnley
10 man Newcastle beat Man City
Newcastle score 5 away to Inter Milan

Another great month and we are still unbeaten in all comps!!!!! We sneaked past WBA and then came from a goal and a man down against Man City to beat them. Following that we smashed 5 past Inter Milan but then somehow threw away a 3 goal lead away in the last ten minutes against Burnley.

Finally we won the Capital One Cup but only after we threw away a two goal lead. Thats 4 trophies won with 3 left to get!!!!!

Another managerial merry go round occurred. Rafa Benitez took over at Arsenal, Chris Hughton went to West Ham, Keith Millen to Wolves and Terry Connor to Fulham. Wigan are looking for a new manager presently.

Italy 3-1 Slovakia

Klippy, how are Genk for feeder club? On my story I've been given a choice of Genk, Club Brugge, Slovan Bratilava and Anzhi. I noticed that you have them as your feeder club, what are they like?

They have been great as they have produced 3 wonderkids so far but if I had been given those choices I would plump for Anzhi then Brugge then Genk

MARCH

Rooney scores 5 against West Ham
Newcastle held by Charlton in the FA Cup but Niang scores 5 in the replay
Inter Milan beaten - Marseille up next
Another dismal youth intake

So many goals its unreal!!!!! We have 99 league goals with 10 games left to play. I dont know if its because we have the quickest players there is but this is stupid - bordering on rediculous. Too much to explain - just look at the results lol.

Signed 4 players from the youth intake but 3 stars for potential only so quite rubbish.
