AUGUST

Neymar scores 2 on debut as Newcastle win the Community Shield
£15m rejected for Boonen - £20m rejected for Berjulet
Champions League group - Malaga, Olympiakos and ABERDEEN!!!!!
Italy beat Australia in a friendly

Decent enough start. I decided to play Neymar up top on his own as a trequarista and it has paid off so far but it may change! Shokry started life off well with us and scored on his first start. Sounds wierd but any injuries to a midfielder is fine by me as I have many great talents to pick from - there are even 2 superstars that you havent seen sitting in my reserves!!!

Delighted to have drawn Aberdeen in my Champions League group - if I could give them 6pts by beating us so we both qualify I would but I doubt if I can manage that - so wish that they cancel their link with Man City so I can step in!!

Italy 3-1 Australia
Destro 3

I must admit that being manager of Italy is a bit boring - if all the players were regens then it would be better but the best players are either 30+ or potential superstars with nothing inbetween. Never mind - hopefully there will be a new challenge after the World Cup as I would like to leave win or lose.

This may sound silly and lazy but I have never had Neymar before and I am planning playing him up front but I see he likes playing as a trequarista but I thought of him being ideal as a poacher due to his pace and finishing. Any tips?

Can always shove him out to the lw if he doesnt perform although I have enough wingers already

Neymar can be a proper pain in the ***. Playing up top as a Tequarista doesnt always work, I normally play him with a partner if I do that and he gets bags of assists. Play him as a poacher or Advanced Forward if you're playing him up top on his own

Thought I would post a screenie of my regens you wont really have seen -

As you can see I have some great players who are just languishing in the reserves!!!! Tony Johnson came through the youth ranks here but the rest were all brought in for a pittance if any fee at all!

SEPTEMBER

Newcastle beat Chelsea to win the Euro Super Cup
Newcastle throw away a 2 goal lead away to Man City thanks to 9min of injury time!
Fabricio Coloccini joins the coaching team
Italy qualify for the World Cup

A good month I suppose with every member of the squad getting an outing or two. The main disappointment was the 4-4 draw with Man City as we were 1up, 2-1 down and 4-2 up before we conceded 2 late on. There should only have been 4min of stoppage time but City equalised in the 5th minute and we played a total of 9!!

I'm pretty sure Klippybo's plan is to stay with Newcastle throughout and just move from managing nation to nation.

On to the story! Loving it as always. Neymar seems to be going in and out of goals. Whats his Av. rating like?

Nay - planning on staying with Newcastle until Mike Ashley becomes mayor and changes the city name to Sportsdirectle or summat like that lol

Going to be country hopping though with international jobs. Want to win everything internationally from World Cup to Olympics

OCTOBER

Newcastle defeat Aberdeen
Newcastle to play Leyton Orient in the Capital One cup
Shokry out for a few months
Italy finish qualifiers with 2 wins

Just a boring month to be fair. Won every game but not by scoring much goals and once again I played my backup players in the Champions League matches. The hardest game was against WBA as we needed a last minute goal from Theo Walcott to get the points.

After a bright start Gateshead are in the bottom half of the Championship (along with AFC Wimbledon!) while Carlisle are at the top of league 1 - their month was probably more interesting than mine! lol

On to the story! Loving it as always. Neymar seems to be going in and out of goals. Whats his Av. rating like?

Going into November he has 10 games 7 goals, 4 assists, 3 mom and a rating of 7.83

What training schedule do you use? Your players develop wonderfully.

I just do what the coaches say - at the start of each season I click on the "assistant to set player training focus" on both seniors and youth and then just do what the coaches say in the backroom staff meetings 95% of the time and thats it. It helps that all my coaches I have have at least 4 and a half star ratings and I always give my youngsters gametime be it on loan or in meaningless league or cup games

NOVEMBER

Newcastle to play Sunderland in the Capital One Cup
Newcastle win Champions League group easily
Stoke and Everton sack their managers

A better and more interesting month was had here. My backup players did the job in the cup games while our league form began to improve - well when I say that I mean that we scored more goals! lol

Arsenal had only conceded 1 goal in the league until their last game of the month where they lost 4-1 away to Chelsea!

DECEMBER

Newcastle retain the FIFA Club World Cup
Manchester United beaten at Old Trafford
Paris St.Germain will be our opponents in the Champions League
Newcastle get Leeds in the FA Cup and Liverpool in the Capital One Cup
Italy get Czech.Republic, Chile and Honduras in the World Cup

A successful month! Started it off with a great victory at Old Trafford before my backup players did the job in the Club World Cup which was far too easy. On our return we won both derbies away to Sunderland - progressing to the Capital One Cup semis in the process.

We stepped up a bit in terms of goalscoring this month but would like more lol! Lucas Moura has dipped this season certainly.

JANUARY

Edwin Mulugeta wins the FIFA World Player of the Year award
Newcastle to play Man City away in the FA Cup 4th round
Newcastle to play Man City in the Capital One Cup final
Agosto's season could be over - out for 3/4 months

A decent month with a lot of games and we got 2 key wins over Chelsea in the league to pretty much secure the title. We also beat Liverpool home and away to reach the Capital One Cup final which was nice.

The only downer was throwing away a two goal lead against Aston Villa in injury time!
