like the tactic, been playing it now some very small tweaks, set defensive line to normal and crosses to drill, also i have set starting mentality to standard home and away unless they are massively weak than me. my possesion is good normally 55-60% both home and away. but my ccc are not as good as i thought. normally 3-6 per game and i am not scoring many, though all credit i am not conceding many.
my questions are -
1. as man utd i have signed aguerio from athletic, who is the better forward to play in this system aguerio, rooney or berbatov?
2. with the same team i have signed adam johnson and kept my other wingers, which of these fit the formation better? i am currently trying johnson left velancia right.

Just finished the first half season with Napoli and this tactic works pretty well for me, i'm on first place with 13 wins and 4 lost
i actualy selected the big size pitch because most of my players have good speed and i guess its a good advantage to run the opponent out

I reckon Aguero is the better one to be played as the striker. Rooney is not bad though. If only he was more agile
Actually this tactic uses inverted wingers which means right footed winger is on the left side and vice versa. Therefore Adam Johnson should play on the right and Valencia on the left. However, Valencia is more of a crosser rather than a cut-insider. I would prefer Nani on the left.
If you are playing Nani and Johnson, you can make him swap positions that way it adds more spark to your play.

Headin to the reebok to play bolton, who are sittin 4th in the table I decide to gamble and employ this tactic for the first time ever.
Unproven and with the players completely unaccustomed to it I'm not expecting much.
When my star striker gets injured after 15 minutes and I still havent had a shot, I'm almost panicking.
How did the game finish.....

Glad it's working out well for ya in the first game.
I think it's gonna be unstable for a while though - especially when the team is not adapted yet, so you might be patient if it starts to fail you.

As patches go, the ME changes so I will have to play it around to match the current ME. Therefore there won't be any 'final' version anytime soon.
An updated one - not BETA - shall come soon though. Probably around next week.
Maybe tomorrow or the next day I will start giving it out to some people so that they can check it out first before I release it widely.

Hmm hard to say.
Well basically it''s wide players who cut inside but has the ability to score. So other than dribbling, agility, flair, passing and creativity, he has to have a good finishing and off the ball and if possible, long shot.
Take a look at Douglas Costa. He's been very good.
Or in two words. Think Messi. before he play centrally.

Great tactic so far even though I only been past 4 competitive games as Chelsea.
Chelsea 4-1 Man Utd
Fulham 0-2 Chelsea
Newcastle 0-2 Chelsea
Chelsea 3-0 Wigan
Those 4 matches only used your very initial tactics which only involve tweaking such as the changing of roles of Lampard and Sanchez as shown in my attachment. I felt Lampard was more of a Xavi-ish compared to Essien so i gave him MCR. So far so good. Hope to show u better results.

I get the idea, but my squad needs improvement and a few new players need to be brought in for it to work perfectly. The results so far has been good. however not impressive. I'm topping the Swedish league, and actually managed to get into chanpions league groups! Which is very big considering that I'm playing a Swedish team. Im not scoring an awful lot though, many games have been won by one goal. I guess that is because I'm lacking quality on the wings.
The biggest problem I've encountered so far is that I'm conceading quite alot. I'd say about half of the goals I concede is from corners or freekicks. What gives? Do you have any idea what I could do to improve? On the other hand my CB has scored 11 goals these season from corners.
So, great tactic, it sure is. When I get myself a couple of new players (Got lots of cash from getting into chanpions league, so should be able to bring in a few quality names) it will hopefully be even better. Ill return with a better analysis when my team has a higher standard.

How does this work? I just saved the tactic to programfiles/si/fm2011/data/tactics. Started up with Newcastle United first game brilliant 2-1 win over Man Utd and then not a bad 2-2 draw at Birmingham. But since then 2 very narrow home wins over Brentford (cup) and Blackpool 1-0 and 2-1 respectively, then came Arsenal who thrashed me 3-0 with 17 shots 7 on target and I had 1 shot not even on target. Now I have just played Wolves at home and lost 2-0? Followed happilly by a 2-1 away win in the Carling Cup v Wigan, Andy Carroll heading both in...

Which team? It's really interesting with the dynamic league rep this year. I used to always play with my beloved Hammarby, but always got tired of being able to build up a team that kicks the **** out of the competition domestically but easily gets brushed aside internationally.
Have you tweaked the corners or is it the tactics default?
Currently trying out with Liverpool. Hodgson got kicked after just a couple of months. The team was in the *****, brought them up to around 10th at the moment got about 10 games left of the season and can probably make it up to top 6 or 7 if the current results stick as its very tight in the tables. seeing some good results now. Though I got my *** kicked by Besiktas away (europa league) in the first leg 2-0, was able to change that at home and came out on top. Beat Tottenham for Carling Cup trophy just now 3-2. Conceding mostly from corners and freekicks. I've already tried to tweak the settings for the corners but so far no success. Will let you know if I manage.
PS. All of us who don't have english as first language here. Stop apologizing for "bad english" or "bad typing" alot of us are better at both than the native speakers

What I have done is just two tweaks; Right and Left Back = MAN MARK (not tight) and Both CENTRAL Defenders MAN MARK (thight).
