Hey! Reporting back after a successfull season!

Finished 1st on portuguese's 3rd league, showing this is also for minor league teams!
My stats: 24 win 3 draws 3 lost 72 for 21 against

top goalscorer was the forward with 31 goals in 30 matches (7.89 average rating and 11 MoM) , so, pretty darn good!

This tactic DOES need time to gel with the team, starting my first 5 matches with 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss.

Tweeks I made were the mentioned by you (standard mentality and defensive settings) PLUS making your forwards your target man!!! that changed the whole season for me! probably worked great as I have a pretty decent forward in a crappy league, but he scored tons (31 in 30 as said earlier) AND managed some cool hat-tricks (maybe 3) and 1 poker ;D

Try the target man and leave some feedback if you can ;D

PS: Thank you for such a wonderfull tatic :P

Great season! and Nice input. Thanks.

Loving this flow of ideas from you guys here. .

I think I did that actually. I only do it when my striker is my star player. Funny, that's the opposite :P
So far kadlec as advanced forward (or deep lying, the same really), have been sick.
Scoring 30 goals in 18 games this season. It has only been in early November :P

If you notice by the way, due to individual settings, the difference between deep lying and/or advanced forward and a target man is the wide play. Targetman stays in the middle instead of moving to channels. And the obvious ticked as target man in the team instructions.

And true! I can't stress enough the importance of letting the team gel with the tactic. Some people expect instant results and that's hard to achieve.

What's a poker by the way? haha

Yeah i know, i saw it. And that's the main problem! The only difference is that i don't have Hazard and Sanches. Instead of Sanches i use Alex Chamberlain, Banyoun or Kalou.Zhirkov or Malouda take Hazard's place.

Hmm. If I'm not wrong probably you have the wrong 'winger' for it. Kalou is brilliant on the left but no one is playing on the right. You need inverted wingers.

Train Malouda to play the right wing and you're golden with the Kalou Malouda combo.

And of course, play with it for some time and let the team gel with the tactic. Check the match preparation section

Alright, my first matches are going well. But then, I'm facing the Spurs in the ECC.

I lost 3-0 without getting any chances. I don't really like that. Any idea's?

Yeah the team mentality was already on standard. Attacking was as other people have mentioned splitting the team too much. Leaving it on standard and changing it slightly has made the players less likely to just pass it around for ever before trying to play a killer ball whilst keeping the defensive side reasonably solid. Still concede most my goals from crosses or corners though. May need to invest in a really tall solid CB.

Haha okay I get your point.
Gonna save your settings on my tactic so I can test it out tomorrow morning :D

Cheers on your finding. Great one by the way.

The tactic is class the first version is ok but like people have said struggle with possession and defence, however strategy to standard, drill crosses, full backs tackle-normal and man mark not tight, centre backs man mark tight and man mark corners. Much better possession usually 60-40 and little shots against and many many for excellent!

Hello.

Used this tactic with Hajduk Split from Croatian First Division.
Got some reinforcements at the start (Yakubu, excellent DC from Portugal, can't remember his name and a great MC from Iraq)
Did some tweeks that were mentioned here and started my story.
Preseason went ok... Managed to beat Galatasaray and some other crappy international squads.
Than I went on to beat Dinamo 1-2 in extra time for Super Cup.
EVERYTHING GREAT SO FAR... HOWEVER

First 4 matches in the league were draws and after I finally managed to win something my team recorded 3 loses in the next 3 games.

After I've seen that my forward (Ahmad Sharbini) just couldn't score I changed that ST position into a poacher and gave the spot to Ante Vukusic.
He got into a great number of chances but only managed to score a few.

And I must say that it's pretty annoying to see my poacher missing 5-6 chances just so I can concede in the late stages of the match.

EDIT:
Forgot to mention.
Got kicked out of EC quals 2nd round by TPS.
My first time I played with Hajduk on 2011, managed to kick out Unirea (as in RL :D) and PSV.

Hellas Verona season 2, not a strong team in Serie B at all (was promoted from Serie C in first season, before using this tactic was destined for relegation losing 7 of first 12 games). Media also predicted us to go down.

My first ten results with this new tactic: v Spal 1-1, v Cagliari 2-0, v Grosseto 1-1, v Torino 0-1, v Frosinone 3-3, v Padova 0-0, v Reggina 1-0, v Piacenza 4-0, v Portosummaga 6-4, v Siena 2-1.

Great results all things considered took a few game to gel but after that amazing! 5 wins, 4 draws and only 1 defeat!

Hey there! Playing as Fiorentina atm and have been using this tactic for 17 league matches so far with quite good results: 11 wins - 4 draws - 2 losses. Im currently holding the number one spot together with Juve. However... I for some strange reason rarely have more possession than the other teams, no matter what team im facing.

If it aint too much to ask i would like you to check out the Fiorentina squad and see if there are any major changes i could do. I'm really bad at tweaking and stuff so that's why i ask.
Also if you can recommend some good players to sign, for someone who needs to be replaced :)

Anyhow, a really good tactic, beat Inter by 2-0 away and played 2-2 against Milan, also an away game.

Cheers.

Just beat liverpool away from home with some tweaks to the tactic. going ok so far.

sorry for my english but i have some problems to change "drill crossing" what is can you explain me and if somebody can show me a pic to change it it will be very nice because i dont found it in my french game

Koflok, I am almost at halfway through the season with Juventus, once I reach there I will post a very descriptive synopsis of the season. I'll leave you with this, the tactic is class, and it only gets better and better.

i am being juventus with this tactic now aswell :) was being leeds but i decided i wanted a change

Go to tactics.

Press the pitch.

Choose crossingstyle.

Profit

ughhh pre season games with liverpool won 1-0 2 games in a row and also in season tied 3 in a row and lost 2 in the league but in the europa league i have been winning 4 games now idk what to do only new players i have turan lukaku santa cruz and coentrao idk what to do has anybody else used liverpool for this?

Well,I have to update my post - after I red all the posts with proposals about tweaking the tactic and after I followed all the instructions carefully the result was great :) With a bit of luck won all last 5 games incl. 2-0 wins away against 2 big title rivals and the last match - dominating 2-0 win vs. Sporting C.P. So it has probably started to work for me.We'll see...

Hey :D I'm the guy who used Chelsea with results so some advice here if you are looking.

Basically, Train all your one-footed wingers to handle the other wing. Playing them in that position during matches also help their training.

Benayoun doesn't have the stats to handle this wing play despite his all inspiring dribbling power in his Liverpool days - at least for me, never really challenged my wingers.

as Koflok already mentioned, put Lampard on the left side (bangs in several long shots) and Essien on the right side as box-to-box. If you got a chance show me your lineup :D

mantablah master yang satu ini :D
sayang saya ga dapet pertamaxnya :hammer:

ijine sedot tacticnya yah :$

Alright, I just got sacked from A.C. Milan after a horrible 22 matches, only making it to the 14th of November..
I saw this tactic thinking this has got to be the **** with Ibrahimovic, Robinho,
Pato and Pirlo as the playmaker - but somewhere along the way i must have missed a point in this tactic?

I've intensely read the other players feedback for suggestion on how to improve my perfomance, trying to
set my back 4 to man-marking, as well as changing to normal mentality on away matches, but with no luck i'm afraid..

Generally, we play very well, but with little possession. The biggest problem seems to be my 3 strikers
inability to score on their chances.. The recent suggestion on how to defend corners seemed to work
though, I didn't concede a goal on that account after that..

I concede most goal on floating crosses at their targetman and long shots from their midfield

Below is a couple of pictures on some matches as well as the liga standing..
I don't know if it's just Milan, but any suggestions is welcome. I will give this tactic another try
as I feel it's something like this i've been looking for, just not with Milan ;)

I hope this shows my points in general, please tell me if you want some other details.

PS. Don't get thrown off by the language - it's danish ;)

I'm assuming you played this way.
MCR - Andrea Pirlo
AMR - Pato
AML - Robinho
SC - Ibrahimovic

First, swap Pato and Robinho due to the nature of the wingers to cut in. Try to play Pirlo at DM as Deep-Lying Playmaker maybe? Since that to me is his optimal position. Change the MCR to someone else. Try Seedorf for at most 1 season, Ambrosini may work or even Flamini. If it doesn't go well in the first half, swap Inzaghi on as Poacher and change both wingers to inside forward with attack duty. I used it as Daniel Sturridge and hat trick against Tottenham :D

Don't stick to the same few players if it doesn't work out obviously and hope that they will some how gel in. You need certain players for this tactic to work. Attributes can be found on the first post :D Good luck have fun

yeah
Deep lying playmaker is the natural role for pirlo :D
and I think Ibra play well if played as adv forward
