Great reading. Simple but with the essential parts :)

Been in a save with QPR using your madness tactic. Some up and downs but in the 4th round of COC and 10th in league with 8 games played. Let's see what happens.

Following your work as always :)

thanks jukilo :) I was thinking of doing a really in depth story like my Ajax story but I just do not have the time for that to be honest :) I might in the future and then "write" a bit more but for now its just clean and simple :)

good luck :)

Breaking news:

View attachment 307604

Flamboyant and unpredictable Adel Taraabt has joined French giants PSG in a deal worth £10m after the Saints had unsettled the African player while on duty at the AFCON Championships in South Africa.

After declining the initial offer, Taraabt had contacted Igesund to make his feelings known and requested that the South African manager find him a new club before he returned from International duty.

Due to the wingers contract, Tottenham received a whopping £4m from the transfer making it a 40% stake in the deal.

Igesund had disclosed he was unaware of this clause of the contract.

With only a few days left in the Winter window Igesund spent the money he had received from the Taraabt deal to the best of his ability by bringing in De Cegile from Italian champions Juventus for 400k while spending £1m on up and coming talented Norwegian midfielder Frederik Midtsjo from Rosenborg and eventually Mate Simao from Shandong in China after several months of deals having to be cancelled due to the R's not having the required transfer fee..

Igesund was delighted to land the players he had since joining and dropped a hint that he will be looking for a new striker in the Summer.

In a frantic deadline day which saw Sean Derry join Ispwich for free while Clint Hill joined Nottingham Forrest for free. Jay Bothroyd eventually joined Bolton on loan only a couple of hours before the deadline.

Earlier on in the week saw the transfer of Angelo Balanta to Middlesbrough and the mutual termination of Cerny's contract.

Andy Johson joined Charlton Athletic on loan for the remainder of the season and has gone on to score 3 goals in 3 games for the club. Charlton are paying QPR 28k a month for his services with zero contribution to the ex England Internationals wages of 40k, however, the R's are receiving 7k a week from the deal.

In the process QPR's manager Igesund had freed up over 95k a week in the process.

Rollercoaster ride for the R's:

View attachment 307680

In a month that saw the R's get knocked out of the FA Cup losing on penalties, Igesunds' main priority was Premier League survival..

He admitted he was rather glad to have not gotten through to the next round as he said his main focus was survival. He promised the fans that next year would be a different story however as he would have the time to build the squad and start from fresh.

A very disappointing loss to relegation rivals Wigan was the only real downer to a somewhat positive month.

Igesund signs Weiss:

Ex Manchester City wide man Vladimir Weiss is on his way back to England after Igesund had offered him a contract worth 18k a week.

Junior had decided to bring the young winger in as he needed cover and competition for Wright Phillips for next season and the fact that Weiss could play across the midfield was beneficial to the squad.

I highly recommend Lazar Markovic from Partizan he should do a decent job for you

A couple of weeks before the end of the season Tony Fernandez and the board offered Igesund a three year extension to the South Africans contract, even though the club were still possible relegation candidates, this move proved that the club had faith in their manager..

Mass exodus at Loftus Road:

During the seasons break, Junior was on a mission to sell off the fringe players that were on excessively high wages as the board had asked the manager to focus on the wage budget for the upcoming season saying that they were spending too much money on player wages.. Igesund agreed with the sentiment and hence put several players on the transfer list for the upcoming weeks..

The first to leave Loftus was enigmatic French forward Cisse who will join Reading for a fee of £1.7m.
A few days later Jamie Mackie had agreed terms with Burnley for a fee believed to be in the region of £2.2m.
Bobby Zamora joins Watford in a deal worth £2m, however, the R's have conceded to paying the 31 year old 27.5k a week for the rest of his contract.. Everton offered £1m for 25k a week which was rejected.

Anton Ferdinand agreed to a contract termination with the R's forking out a whopping £1.4m in compensation. Igesund was not involved in the contract termination as Tony Fernandes decided the Englishmen's fate.

Ex International goalkeeper Robert Green agreed to a contract termination and leaves the club on a free.
Jose Bosingwa joined Kaiserslauten for free with the R's subsidizing the Portuguese internationals wages at 18.25k a week until the end of 2015.

Igesund has been on a mission trying to reduce the clubs wage bill and in order to do so had to agree to the deals. He mentioned he would rather pay 18k a week for another two years instead of 40k a week plus all of the players bonuses..

Junior is on the lookout for a replacement right back, sources suggest Gino Peruzzi is awaiting clearance for a work permit having accepted and agreed to the contract offer from the English club

Igesund sings Jack Cork from Southampton in a player exchange deal with Faurlin who had recently returned from a disappointing spell in Italy. Junior had rejected a £4.8m offer from Sunderland to ensure the midfielder had only one option and that was to join the Saints.

AFCON 3rd placed Nigerian International goalkeeper joined the London club in a deal worth around £2.7m after a fine display in South Africa only a few months ago. Igesund was delighted to welcome the African player to the squad.
