Liverpool F.C. The 5 Year Plan.

Jerome Sinclair

This kid is having an absolute screamer of a season. in 17 games he's netted
20 times and created 4 assists for the Croatian league leaders.

Sinclair is developing a reputation as a goalscorer. I had intended on letting him stay
at Liverpool and come off the bench for first team experience but I feel I made the
correct call sending him on loan for one last season before he's ready to lead the line
alongside Sturridge, Origi and Coutinho.

I've no idea to be honest. It's a mix-and-match of different packs i've collected over the last few years.
There are lots of logopacks, ect. available on the download second. Download a few of them and pick the ones you like best.

****** tough month this one was. Lots of tough games comming
in quick succession. We have to be at our best to get good results.

Quite disapointed to give away two penalties. We threw away our own chance to get a result
from this game with such a terrible defensive display.

Deeply disappointed. We're leeking goals agasint the big teams which
is very disappointing. We've kept a lot of clean sheets in other games
but it's the games against the top sides that we've looked very weak.

Fantastic response from the squad. We were very upset at the Chelsea
result but to come back in the following game and reassert ourselves in the
league was magical. Huge confidence boost. The clean sheet for 21 year old
Scuffet was promising too.

Very tough game here. Marseille unexpectedly started with 3 strikers and we struggled in the second half.
I needed to bring the wide men in and play with two forwards and a ACM to create more chances.
Howedes scored from a corner to level the squad and give us out second point of the group stage.

Another Clean sheet for Scuffet. We're doing fine in the Premier League but we need
to perform better in the Champions League or it'll be an early exit.

Every time we looked like coming back into this game, we conceded again.
It was a tough game to watch. We never looked out of our depth but Chelsea
had an answer for everything we threw at them.

We've kept 6 clean sheets in 9 games so far, which is quote impressive
but when we have conceded, we've averaged 3 goals against a game.

Still, we're sitting top with more games won than anyone else: Definitely progress!

At the halfway point, we're 3rd but Marseille have to come to Anfield
and I'm confident of getting a result in Croatia. A loss in Spain is probably
likely but a 2nd place finish would be a decent result. You're going to
have to beat the best to progress so a 1st knock-out round agasint
a group winner doesn't faze me.

Great performance in the league so far. Hopefully you can pick up 6 more points in the UCL! Jerome Sinclair is doing fantastic, great decision to loan him there!

I've struggled against the big teams a lot this season. :(

Going great in the Prem so far! hopefully you can push on more in the CL!

Great start in the BPL! Definately hope that your team can keep up that form, I am not too worried about the CL, losing to Barcelona was expected and not being able to win from Marseille in France isn't bad at all, they've got quite a good team I imagine.

Two huge games int he Champions League await us while the home game agasint
fellow title rivals City will be a tough fixture.

View attachment 316588
Away from home we've been struggling this season and Norwich were
the next team to capitalize off this. They created more chances and
finished more than us.

Huge win. Absolutely huge. This firmly puts us in the driving seat now that we've climbed above
Marseille into 2nd place; 1 point clean but with the better head the head record. We are at home
to Dinamo and Maseille host Barcelona. If we win, Marseille have to beat Barcelona
to stay in the competition.

I'm honestly starting to loose faith in our system. We're not putting
away enough chances and we've looked shaky. Stoke looked the better
side and while I've always considered them a great side and a difficult
one to break down, I'm not happy to grant Butland a clean sheet.

I took a chance with a new system. A bank of 3 midfielder, Coutinho pulling the strings
as an ACM Advanced Playmaker and both Sturridge and Origi playing as strikers up front.
The chance of system paid off and the boys worked much better as a unit. A clean sheet
for Scuffet against City is something I'm hugely proud of. The Red card to Mingay
was unfortunate though and we did appeal.

We've done it!!!! I can't help but slightly feel sorry for, on loan Jerome Sinclair, as this
game ends Dinamo's European season. They're relegated to a 4th place finish so
they're out of all European competitions.

View attachment 316577
These results settle the table and decide who'll be playing what for the
second half of the European season.

View attachment 316576
Barcelona ran away with the group but we've proved that draws are
just as valuable in Europe as wins. You have 2 bites at the cherry and
you have to make it count. Thankfully, we made it count.

Mixed emotions: I'm not happy to have already lost 4 games but we've won 8...
We're both doing very well and doing quite badly :P Though we have the ability
to really kick on and make this a great season. Scuffet has made a very impressive
start to his first team career at Liverpool; keeping 9 clean sheets in 20 games
so far this season in all competitions.

Sturridge and origi have struck up a great partnership this season. Origi, with his strenthg
and direct running is great at holding up the ball and keeping defenders busy while Sturrige's
pace and intelligence allows him to take advantage of the space left in behind the defensive line.

Aye, he's giving me serious thoughts for next season. I think he could slot straight in and compete for first team football alongside Sturridge and Origi.

The big teams can cause problems since having the correct system sometimes just isnt enough; they'll simply have better players in the correct positions.

Going great in the Prem so far! hopefully you can push on more in the CL!

Aye, I'm delighted. I'm aiming for a Quarter Final appearances.

Aye, they've got a good first team squad. Lots of team players and seeing as they got a result against Barca at home, I may have caused somewhat of an upset in securing 2nd place ahead of them.

Good job in the CL, I never doubted that you wouldn't make it and you didn't dissapoint. That Marseille squad looks good indeed, interesting players they have aswell with Wijnaldum and Lichtsteiner.

Hi I'm currently travelling in oz and can't play fm until I get a new laptop out here but I'm currently on the train heading to Sydney abs your excellent story has passed time on the journey. Great effort and a really like the fact that your not winning everything and it's realstic ano you would probs prefer to be romping it but excellent work.

Cheers mate. You're support is always welcome. I knew it was a tough draw when Marseille came out as 3rd seeds but we did well not to roll over on our travels.

Aye, I like to play FM with a dose of realism. I could spend £600M in the summer of season one over 48 months and win everything but that kinde destroys the rest of the save for yourself I've found. Loosing interest is an eventuality after that kind of start. Glad to know the story kept you entertained. That's the overall aim at the end of the day! :)

I'm taking a short break form this save. I've only had two saves this year so far: Pumas and Liverpool, both of which I've done stories about.
