someone has edited webbs wiki page and it reads.

Is an english footballer who plays for manchester united and is a very successfull cheat winning 10 trophies for cheating in his career. In a remarkable cheating career he has worked up from the lower-leagues to the team he has always dreamed of cheating for, manchester united. Webb is counted amongst the top cheats of all time by the international federation of cheats(ifoc), and has refereed the final of both the uefa champions league and fifa world cup, being the first person to referee both matches in the same year. Webb has drawn praise for his respect to the law of cheating, and has received acclaims from football managers, players and pundits and governing bodies for cheating, jose mourinho once said "he is a man who seems to get all the big cheating methods right"."

howard webb is one of the greatest manchester united players regularly changing the game for manchester united. He loves fergies **** up his **** webb first took up refereeing in local rotherham leagues in 1989. In 1993, he progressed to the northern counties east league as an assistant referee, becoming a referee for that league two years later.
hahahahaha

Really don't understand why everyone is whinging about the refs. let's actually wait to see if there is even an issue first

2-1 united

Thing is, yes Mr. Webb has made mistakes, but he is still the best ref in the Prem imo. He wouldn't have officiated World Cup games if he was that bad. Cut him a bit of slack, and just wait and see what happens, and see which players try to con him and wave the imaginary card. Going for 2-2 draw, with no doubt a little bit of feistiness and some crunching tackles.

Should Chelsea Fans Fear Howard Webb Appointment?

November 30th 2008: Ronaldo sent off
Cristiano Ronaldo received one of the most ridiculous red cards I’ve ever seen, thanks to Howard Webb, during the derby a couple of seasons ago. Already on a yellow card, a corner was delivered in the direction of Ronaldo who had created the space for a free header. However, instead of putting the ball in the back of the net, he batted the ball away with his hands. It was obvious he was not trying to score and as he landed, looked confused to see the ref walking towards him. He mimed a ‘whistle’, making it clear he thought the whistle had gone, but Webb sent him off regardless.

January 11th 2009: Wrongly disallowed goal
At 0-0, Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney took a clever corner, which Ronaldo scored from. Webb hadn’t been paying attention though so disallowed the goal.
The Telegraph: The official reason given by the linesman was that Rooney had not informed him as to his intentions, but Ferguson questioned whether this was in fact necessary. Dermot Gallagher, the former Premier League referee, backed up Ferguson’s assertion that the goal should have stood, describing the corner routine as “creative and innovative.”

April 25th 2009: Palacios escapes red card
The game that everyone talks about when Howard Webb and Manchester United are mentioned is the 5-2 vs Spurs. We were 2-0 down before he awarded a penalty after a challenge on Michael Carrick. In real time, it looked as though Carrick had taken the ball around the keeper before getting floored, when replays showed the keeper got his finger tips to it before taking Carrick out.
However, at 0-0, Wilson Palacios was guilty of a clear red card offence in the 7th minute for a two footed lunge on Ronaldo. Fortunately, our Portuguese winger got out of the way or he could have suffered a serious injury.
Ronaldo knows all too well that going in studs raised results in a red card, even if you don’t make contact, after he was set off for going in one footed and missing the player in the derby a few years earlier.

September 20th 2009: Stone wall penalty not awarded against Chelsea
At 1-0 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, Ricardo Carvalho brought down Robbie Keane in the box, but no penalty was given.
The Guardian: Absolute 100%, 24-carat stonewall penalty to Spurs. Not given. Keane was through, but in by what may well have been an attempted control from Lennon, Carvalho slides in just as Keane is set to pull the trigger. Not a world class decision from the man who is supposed to be England’s world class refereee.

April 10th 2010: Stone wall penalty not awarded against Chelsea II
At 0-0 in the FA Cup semi-final, John Obi Mikel brought down Agbonlahor in the box but nothing was given.
The Mirror: No surprise that Webb bottled Villa’s nailed-on Wembley penalty claim.
In the same game, John Terry was guilty of making a horrific challenge on James Milner, clearly worthy of a red card, but was just shown a yellow card.

We're all discussing the referee, but here's to hoping it's a display of different footballing class that wins the game for either club. It would be a real shame for United to lose this game, both teams know what's at stake.. both equal psychologically and physically.. it's going to take a moment of magic to win this game.. both teams have player's with this capability.

Fergie is piling the pressure on Webb

ALEX FERGUSON was up to his old tricks last night as he piled the pressure on to ref Howard Webb ahead of tomorrow's title decider.

The Manchester United boss says a series of key decisions have gone against his team in recent meetings with Chelsea.
And when asked if he was worried a major call could sink his side again, Fergie said: "That's definitely our big fear, to be honest. Howard Webb is definitely the best referee in the country. There's no doubt about that.
"We just hope it's our turn for a little bit of luck."

Fair enough, so Chelsea's view on Webb is wrong and Utd view on Atkinson is also wrong.

Atkinson is **** ref. I dont get into conspiracy theories, but Atkinson is **** ref.

Webb has also made errors like what was posted. All refs make mistakes and all refs have **** days. Its just Utd arnt used to losing that when they do they cling on to any excuse which normally is the ref.

Manchester United 2-0 Chelsea - Rooney, Giggs

Going to be one **** of a game.

I did't know stating obvious means giving excuses. If so let it be then.. I'm happy with my excuses..

And its funny that you said We cling on to excuses as many of us dont. We just get on with it and blame ref when he makes game changing decision.

If i remember correctly you are the one who was firm believer of some conspiracy theories that FA favors us when it was proven so many times that it was not the case..

I posted the TROM link to say Webb is not United biased as many of you like to claim and concentrate on game rather than ref..

You did say that we get additional stoppage time when we need a goal and had a argument there with you, when Chelsea get only 14s less than us..

No i said Utd get more added time when they are not in winning positions and like you said its an extra 14s so i was right lol. That would make it a fact surely.
