I've been distracted so I've not been keeping upto date with the thread. However, finally I can post a bio for Loki Wodensson.
LOKI WODENSSON
Loki Wodensson born in the little known Faroese village of Norotoftir (current population 6). His parents Ingrid and Loki manage a local sheep farm in the area. As is to be expected Loki spent much of his early life either herding the family herd or hiding so he didn’t have to herd the sheep. From the age of 4 his main aim in life was to learn enough to escape from the boredom of his parents homestead and earn enough money so that his parents could sell up and move to the capital. Loki was in many respects a child prodigy not only was he a talented sportsman (he represented the Faroe Islands in the Biannual Island Games when aged 11 in a swimming event) but also a talented chess player. However, his first love has always been football and all things relating to Partick Thistle in particular. Why Partick well his first memory is of his all time favourite player goalkeeper Jakup Mikkelsen playing for them. It was in the 2003-2004 season when the goalkeeper made 5 appearances for the Scottish team. Loki wanted to be a goalkeeper however, he just hasn’t grown tall enough so his first coach moved him into an outfield role where he has quickly adapted and has already been capped by the Faroes at youth level. Now aged 14 he is looking to find his first professional club and to gain his first international cap for the Faroe Isles. The potential is there but does he have what it takes?
This young pacy wingback may have a big future in the game. Not afraid to get stuck in if need be and with a mean left foot. He’s not likely to score many but then as a defensive player it’s not his job to do so. Woe be tide any forward who thinks his size is to their advantage as no sooner have they got the ball than he will be nipping at their feet, more often than not taking the second ball with his developing tackling skills. If he can just improve his positioning and anticipation then we will have the perfect wingback on our hands.
