I have Volland for sale if you want a deal. He's worth over £50 million though so you could make it £20 million plus a player?

Have a look at my squad mate and PM me with anyone you are interested in.

NEW MANAGER BRINGS THE START OF A NEW ERA AT HOFFENHEIM

With the summer transfer window closed Hoffenheim today announced not only their new manager but also more than a dozen new players to start a new era at the club following Julian Nagelsmann's time at the club.

So who is the new boss? After considering much bigger names like Luis Enrique, Ronald Koeman and Luciano Spalletti it actually came down to 2 people - Robin Dutt of Bochum and
Roger Machado of Palmeiras. Both of those managers like to develop young players which arguably Nagelsmann didn't do with Arp, Geubbels etc and in the end it was the Brazilian who got the job. He has a big reputation (4 stars - higher than even Spalletti!!!)and expects strong youth development so he is the right man for the club. He also plays with the 4-2-3-1 formation which is a radical change from the 5-2-1-2 formation that was in use before.
View attachment 44889

So to bring in a new era the club needed some marquee signings and with the new formation the club needed wingers and two big names were brought in -
Marco Reus from Borussia Dortmund on a free plus Riyad Mahrez from Real Madrid on loan.
View attachment 44888View attachment 44878

These two should be standouts in the league. With Reus on the left and Mahrez on the right we have two of the most skilful players in the league and hopefully will improve the clubs fortunes. To bring in £94m worth of talent without paying a transfer fee is some achievement - lots on wages though!!!!!

We also brought in 2 players from Man City.
Willi Orban returned to the club after his loan spell last season for £11.25m while after selling Kramaric late on in the window we signed Leandro Paredes for £19m.
View attachment 44886View attachment 44885

Orban should be first choice alongside Jesus Vallejo and that is a good centre back pairing while Leandro Paredes will be a great asset to the team. With only Pellegrini and Dembiray really being our only quality in the CM position Paredes will certainly challenge those two for a spot in the midfield.

Two other players came in from England as
Harry Wilson joined from Liverpool for £8.5m and Baba Rahman has joined on a free transfer from Chelsea.
View attachment 44884View attachment 44883

Wilson will provide competition for the winger positions and is one who can improve while Rahman will battle it out for the left back spot with our amazing Italian regen Cassandro.

Then after trying to sign him permanently from day one we signed
Felix Passlack from Dortmund on a free.
View attachment 44882

I am delighted with this signing. Hampus must be sick of me messaging him every window trying to buy him and he was kind enough to let me have him for free. Well when I say for free I had to take 4 players from Toulouse to clear his wage bill a bit but I aint going to mention them as they are **** lol.

Finally we brought in 3 regens.
Francisco Valencia from Atletico Nacional for £52k, Christian Galeano from Danubio for £104k and Flavien Pailler from Troyes for £260k.
View attachment 44881View attachment 44880View attachment 44879

I am delighted to welcome these three into the club. Especially Pailler who looks like he will be a world class full back and I have high hopes for Valencia too!!!

Best news is Bayern bought a player i was supposed to put to MY OWN TEAM! so they instantly loose there great young Frenchman There other signings fund our teams without destroying them imo

Bayern Do put damage into our French challenge by selling of stars to Marsilles and PSG

How are any of us beating Monaco & PSG!

Good for Dortmund, Terrible for Leipzig. We might struggle to make Europa League. Leverkusen get the Man Utd & Napoli group that always seems to exist with a German Team

Hertha have Lyon to deal with but should get to the last 32 without issue. Out of shot Wolfsburg get Villarreal, Rapid Wien and Zilina!

Huge arrivals at Leverkusen

View attachment 44850
Lionel Messi, that's right LIONEL MESSI, has joined Leverkusen for a whopping £72 million. Arguably the greatest player of all time joins his arch nemesis Cristiano Ronaldo in the Bundesliga, who's played for both Hoffenheim and Dortmund since his arrival in the league. With both Dortmund and Leipzig stealing star players from Bayern, surely the Bundesliga title is Leverkusen's to lose now!

View attachment 44849
Despite Volland's very good performances over the last few seasons, it's clear that die Werkself lacked a real goalscorer and who better to partner up with Lionel Messi than Robert Lewandowski?! Probably the best goalscorer in the Bundesliga in the last few years joins the club from Dortmund in a bit of complicated deal which saw a Leverkusen youngster join Dortmund, as well as 3 Toulouse players joining Leverkusen to reduce Toulouse's wage bill. It's going to be one **** of a season for sure!

View attachment 44848
The last big name and permanent arrival was Rui Patricio from Sporting. The Portuguese keeper is 32 years old already but has a lot of experience and talent that will definitely be an improvement from Pavlenka, who was Leverkusen's keeper since Leno's departure for Bayern.

View attachment 44847
The final arrival for Leverkusen is Soler, who joins from Leipzig on loan until the end of the season to strengthen the centre of midfield for the German side. Soler has been a very good player for Leverkusen so far so he'll surely bring some great quality to the side.

In terms of departures, Rodrygo is gone on loan to Toulouse, Havertz is on loan at Bordeaux, Pavlenka and Uduokhai have also both gone to Toulouse but permanently and Sven Bender is out and now playing for Ingolstadt. On top of that, Bellarabi has also left the club. Overall, a lot of deadwood has left the club with some promising youngsters now out on loan and some huge arrivals coming in as well. Ancelotti has a lot of work ahead, but the title is his to lose now.

Dortmund 2020/21 Preview

View attachment 44765

It’s been a weird summer for Dortmund. We’ve signed Mats Hummels and wonderkid right back Enrique Lemos…

View attachment 44766

View attachment 44764

But we’ve also given away Kane and Reus for free as well as buying Lewandowski and giving him away for free too!

It’s going to be a big season for Alexander Isak and Christian Pulisic as they’ll be needed to live up to the hype and expectation that has accompanied them for the last few years.

View attachment 44763

View attachment 44762

All in all we should still put up a fight against Bayern despite not having a recognised left back after Rafa sold Jordan Lukaku to Lazio!

Toulouse 2020/21 Preview

View attachment 44761

There are too many transfers to name for Toulouse so I won’t go through them all. The best way to sum them up is by the fact we’re predicted to finish 7th, when 2 months ago we were predicted to finish 16th

View attachment 44760

After leading minnows Amines SC to 6th, 10th and 7th placed finishes in the last 3 seasons Christophe Pélissier is the man who will lead the Toulouse Revolution this season.

View attachment 44759

If he can do that well with a bunch of average players surely he’ll do well with all our new signings…

But, of course, it’s not been the best of starts from him. His first game in charge was a 2-1 loss at home to relegation favourites Quevilly Rouen…

View attachment 44758

And if he continues to play Manor Solomon, an AMC on loan from Liverpool, as a striker instead of Florinel Coman then he’s going to have little sympathy from me if he gets sacked.

His downfall may be the fact that we have only one player older than 28 and our strongest line up probably contains 4 teenagers.

Let’s see if youth can do the job!

I was away for one weekend and literally have missed everything.... I fear Schalke may be in trouble

Mainz Summer Update

An incredibly busy summer has led to 9 players coming in and many more than that being moved out by myself and the manager.

View attachment 44685View attachment 44684

The first players to join were Sebastian Rudy and Assane Gnoukouri, who both join on free transfers. These deals were agreed last season and provide great strength and depth in midfield.

View attachment 44683View attachment 44682

We also signed 2 more free transfers during the summer in Brendan Galloway and Juninho Bacuna. Galloway will probably be no more than a backup option but after 2 seasons of only having 2/3 CB’s, we need that depth. Bacunas signing means we have signed 3 CM’s this summer which allowed us to use a CM as part of our big deal of the summer.

View attachment 44681View attachment 44680

We were able to bring in 2 defenders on loan from Man City and RBL. Pablo Maffeo and Benjamin Pavard will both challenge for the RB position and Pavard could also play at CB if Maffeo beats him to the RB position.

View attachment 44679View attachment 44678

We did eventually spend some money and signed Mile Svilar for £1.8mil and Matteo Serra for £11mil. Svilar will come straight into the starting team, especially considering that Tedesco felt it necessary to sell our other 2 goalkeepers. Serra looks to be a real talent and could slot straight into the first team. He is a man to build a defense around. I just now need to hope that he doesn’t get sold by the manager.

The final signing is the biggest one. It took a bit of time and negotiation but we were finally able to get the deal over the line.

View attachment 44677

Harry Kane will be wearing Mainz colours next season after signing from Dortmund in a complicated player exchange deal. To guarantee Kane’s signature, Cuisance and Coman have both left for Toulouse and then Trybull and Aaron have both gone to Dortmund. Losing 4 first team players is a big risk but I feel the risk is worth it as we look to try and break into the top of the table.
