Only manager i didnt hear from on time was Bcfc1 Who we knew was away and has poor internet. With that in mind i've not simmed forward yet but will get that done later tonight whatever happens.

Sorry for not being on recently but as I said before, I was away and had poor internet access. I am back now and will get a post up recapping the season and giving a reason for my absence.

I'm not going to send any transfers off for this window as I don't think it is fair to everyone who sent them off in time but I will be back to normal come the January window.

Gonzalo Flores Returns!!!

The owner of Mainz and Marseille has rarely been seen in the last year but he has held an impromptu press conference to confirm and deny theories of his absence.

After denying theories of being dead and being abducted by aliens, Mainz and Marseille owner, Gonzalo Flores, gave the true reason for his absence for the last year. He had spent a long weekend in Kavos and needed the time to recover from the wounds. He said he is now back to his fighting best and wants to not only see his two teams succeed but to also add a 3rd Italian team to his group.

Mainz

Mainz seem to be doing very well on their own and had a very good chance to qualify for the champions league before a poor April meant they dropped to 5th. The squad is full of good youngsters and as long as we can keep them together then I do believe we will finish above Bayern very soon.

Marseille

With PSG having such a poor season last year, I was hoping that we would be one of the teams above them but we were the best of the rest in this case and finished 8 points off of PSG. The squad here needs a bit of work and I hope to be able to do a bit of business come the January window.

Lazio: Club Overview

View attachment 41058

Marco Silva has been appointed Lazio manager for the upcoming 2024/25 season. He has signed a three year contract. This is the first club he has managed since leaving Watford in 2017.

In his first season in charge, the club has signed nine players whilst fifteen players have left the club.

Highlights of the window

View attachment 41056

Kalidou Koulibaly has joined on a free transfer on a two season contract. At the age of 33 he offers vast experience but also much needed quality to the Lazio back line.

View attachment 41055

Charly Musonda has joined the club on a season long loan deal from AS Monaco. This deal brings much needed pace and flair to the team and we hope that Charly can drive us forward and up the league table this season.

Best Eleven

View attachment 41054

This was the team that started against Torino on the opening day of the season and in Marco we trust so this is our eleven for the season going forward. Five players in this squad are new to the club and we're hoping the new faces can boost the clubs performance this season.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Monaco: Club Overview

View attachment 41053

Diego Simeone remains in charge after a fantastic opening year in the south of France collecting Ligue 1, Coupe de la League and a Europa League title. This season he will be hoping to go one better and claim Europe's most illustrious trophy in the Champions League.

Following a successful year, the board decided to give Simeone the power of transfers providing him with all the funds to bring in his own players.

Highlights of the Window

View attachment 41051

Alexander Isak moved to Monaco in a whopping £105 million pound deal. he will be our first choice striker this season and i truly believe he can take us to further European glory.

View attachment 41050

Miroslaw Zapala come in as another full back option for the 'modest' fee of £66m. He will certainly contribute to the squad and will provide much needed competition to Pablo Lallo.

Best eleven

View attachment 41049

Wow. What a team if i must say so myself. Toure, Fabinho and Lemar remain in the linep since day one but excusing them and the starting eleven is priced at £619 in transfer costs with the full squad closer to £1.15 BILLION

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wolfsburg: Club Overview

View attachment 41048

Joachim Low also remains in charge following his demotion from Monaco to Wolfsburg and after a great first season in charge he has regained the club a place in the Champions League. Can he get us through it is the question now?

Highlights of the window

View attachment 41046

Lorenzo Bove joins the club on a £54 million deal. Bove will provide the club with an excellent first team goalkeeper and for the first time in 2 season a permanent goalkeeping option.

View attachment 41045

Malang Sarr for a fee of just £12m from Leipzig will give Christensen a great partner at the back as we look to improve the defense.

Best Eleven

View attachment 41044

Another squad which has improved greatly to a level in which i expect top 4. An excellent window from Low and I am a lot more confident with this side compared to 12 months ago.

Chairman's Thoughts

"I'm delighted with this summer as well as last season. Both clubs from last season are in the champions league which is a credit to both Joachin and Diego. Both managers have clearly been on top form. We hope that Marco can add to this at Lazio which we recently acquired"

"We had three amazing transfer windows and we are hoping things can continue to improve across the clubs in what we hoe will be an exciting season"

Right then, where do I start?

View attachment 41037

Dortmund

Dortmund won the league for the second season in a row… but got knocked out of the Champions League before the semi final stage for the 7th season in a row and were also knocked out by a pub team in the German Cup.

Cristiano Ronaldo has retired and Monaco have been taken off the Christmas Card list for stealing our only striker Alexander Isak for £105m. It means we’ll be relying on Dino Heitinga, who’s been on loan at Bremen for the past 2 seasons and has some ridiculous physical and technical stats.

View attachment 41036

Oh and after getting knocked out of the 1st round of the cup by third division Munster last year, this season we’ve already gone out to another third division side Kiel.

View attachment 41035

I don’t think it’d be a major shock if RB Leipzig, Leverkusen and Bayern finished ahead of us this year

View attachment 41034

Toulouse

Nothing could’ve gone better for Toulouse. We finished 3rd, have Champions League football and got world class keeper Jordan Pickford for free.

Then all of a sudden our manager dumped us for Belgium, Bayern signed our star left back and Atletico signed our star centre back.

View attachment 41033 View attachment 41032

We now have only 1 recognised right back and 1 injury prone left back at the club as we seek to go as far as we can at home and in Europe...

View attachment 41031

Inter

There’s been a massive clear out at Inter with Stade Rennais taking about half of our squad for free and Slaven Bilic has taken on the role of getting the club back to the big time.

View attachment 41030

A lot of signings have been made to improve the aging squad. With no European football this season a top 4 for finish should be the minimum aim but I honestly have no idea what will happen!

View attachment 41022
Leverkusen

View attachment 41021
My lack of activity in the chairman game might come back to bite me as I've failed to replace some key players leaving. We have made some great signings in terms of arrivals with Gustavo and Vinicius Junior coming in on free transfers and Stones and Alaba coming in as well to strengthen a weakened defence over the summer. The English powerhouses are starting to really **** me off! We've still got a pretty decent balance left which I'm hoping will stay that way so I can bring in some reinforcements n the summer.

View attachment 41020
We completely bottled it last season as we finished below Bayern and miles off Dortmund. I'm hoping we'll do better this season with some of the players I've brought in, but things aren't looking too great to be honest! Our Champions League group for this season isn't looking the best either, but we should be making it out of the group with the team we have.

View attachment 41019

Nice is where I'm a little all over the place to be honest. With a small budget and not exactly a "big club" status, most of my big players have left the club this summer and while they needed to be replaced, there were a few deals I made purely due to the fact that it seemed like a bit of a steal. Nevertheless, we've made some decent signings and have actually had a great start to the season (much like last season... cough cough...) which will hopefully continue. Just like Leverkusen, we also bottled it last season.

View attachment 41017
After such a long time ahead of Marseille and PSG, we just couldn't hold on and ended up in 7th, miles off PSG. I just pray that we do better this season and that we DON'T bottle it and do better with all these new exciting players in the side! I just really do want to move to Italy lol...

StoneCold Summer!

After letting the side slip, Despite the Champions League win as i totally focused on Bordeaux its time to get back to basics. First having lost Dybala we never got a top striker in his place. Belotti is the man charged with getting the goals to take us back to the top. Right back had been a weak spot so i nabbed Sidibe from Bordeaux. Pedro is the first of 5 u20s that we spend money on for the future with plenty players hitting the 30s. We also fed over £12m to Milan to get some more deals done.

Quiet summer on the outs. Sarr had always fallen short of my expectation. I hope Wolfsburg will get the most out of them. My manager sold Hartmann and his value skyrockets. Two older defenders that moved on that i would have liked to keep but Alderweireld & Meunier but there replacements are already here in teenage form. Depay & returned to Lyon in exchange for a future deal, More on that in future posts.

Target
Title Challenge, Strong Champions League defense.

Bordeaux
View attachment 40899
With ins and outs we spent almost £300m bucks. Lewis Cook is the man i've always wanted to run my midfield from the start so im delighted to get him in. We sent Milan £81m for some overvalued duds and spent the same almost the same on Coutinho. Not necessary but quality at a great price. Former Milan keeper Plizzari joined Benfica and i cashed in his £23m buy out clause.

The summer did not come without loss. Harry Kane & Bonucci were sent off to Milan to help my new project. Real Madrid nick my star centerback Upamecano. Hopefully some of that cash will be around in January to get a replacement. Prospect Michael Beerman, Sergio Palencia & Thomas Basila's time as back ups are over bringing in another £25m for future spends!

Target
Title challenge, Quarter Final in Europa League

A.C Milan
View attachment 40898
Brining in Kane & Bonucci was just the start. Eden Hazard was the most affordable world class player and even at 33 we'll get at least 2 seasons out of him. Sam Turner was the best youngster i could find on the market. £27m was a lot to spend. Pedriniho at 5ft 3 will be a long term replacement i hope. 3 Players we got of Lyon in the exchange deal again focusing on the spine with Ndombele & Silva while Ricca fills a big hole. I thank my former owners for nicking Malcom off Bordeaux on a free.

Except the monopoly moves we pulled in over £40m with back up players like Ronny Lopes, Rafinha and Conti moving on

Target
Top 4, Last 16 in Europe

Mid-Season Review

Mainz

The league has been a little disappointing so far as we sit 8th and a massive 9 points behind the target of Bayern. We have played a game or 2 less than everyone else but we are still far off where I hoped we would be. We have failed to win in the last 5 games so I am hoping that changes very soon.

We have got a perfect record in Europe so far and have been rewarded with a hard draw against Tottenham in the first knockout round. We will have to beat these teams eventually if we want to win the competition so I’m not too concerned about the draw.

The German Cup has been fine so far and we are through to the quarter-finals against Dusseldorf. We won the competition 3 seasons ago and I hope to be able to repeat that.

We have very little in terms of money to change anything so I can’t see us doing much in the window.

Marseille

The league has been poor as we have dropped behind a few other chairmen teams that have developed far more than us. We are currently 7th when I was hoping to be in the top 4. Now the target will be to try and qualify for Europe once again.

We were pretty lucky to get through the group stage of the Europa League as it took us the very last game of the stages to get through. We have got Anderlecht in the first knockout round which is definitely winnable and then from there we will see what happened.

The domestic cups have barely started but they will probably be our best hope of winning something this year and I hope the manager takes these competitions seriously.

The club is in a lot of trouble financially so I will be hoping to offload some players in the window. That will still probably not give me the money to make any changes in this window.

Managers
No changes still! Good recruiting guys!

Germany
View attachment 40757
Little change with everyone having a similar month except Ingolstadt who lost 4 in a row. With Bayern looking strong it could be a interesting race for the Europa League spots. Schalke & Hambirg being the exception to the rule while Hoffenheim are not far from being in trouble.

Transfers
View attachment 40756
Stoke appear in Germany rebuilding with our cast offs. Lukaku will be the bargain of the season at £35m! Bayern play the **** head and splash the cash again

France
View attachment 40755
One defeat might be enough to swing Bordeaux out of the title race as PSG & Monaco clear 50 points. Lyon & Nice lead the charge to the Europa league with 5 points splitting The other chairmen sides all in contentions

Transfers
View attachment 40754
Did the window even open here?

Italy
View attachment 40753
The Milan giants take up the race to Fiorentina with Roma, Lazio & Juventus close in tow. Napoli will need a drasic change in from to make a title challenge happen.

Transfers
View attachment 40752
Stoke Decide they want to buy up the best of our rejects. Inter give away Barbosa and Juve intentionally weaken there squad it seems.

Also while i remember tomorrows end of season post may be running late as i don't know when i'll get away from work.

RENNES

Back to lingering in 9th place, an injury to top scorer Yussuf Poulsen see's us struggling. Quick note that since Poulsen was sold by RBL for £2.8m, he has scored 102 league goals for Rennes. The loan signing of Jean Michael Seri should add some strength to the midfield, as the club still hope for a late European push. Shout out to Jonathan Ikone, who was signed on a free transfer and is now rated at £40m on wages of 10kpw!

HAMBURG
1 step forward, 10 steps back. After a much improved season which saw the club into Europe, Kovac has once again overseen a slide in the league. The one plus side is that the club have managed to progress in Europe and now face Fenerbache. My knack of signing players on a free and selling them for profit continues as Dujon Sterling leaves for Stoke at £7.75m reaching £9.75m depending on performance.

Season 8 Part 2

Leipzig stumble and loose back to back games but still have the rest at arms length. Dortmund in 2nd to 7th is now a open race to the Champions league spots. Ingolstadt, Hoffenheim and Hamburg are looking like the end of the season while Schalke sink to 15th, still 7 points above the bottom 3.

Schalke to the surprise of non are the first to sack there manager

France
View attachment 40722
We have a 3 or maybe even a 4 team title race as Bordeaux join Monaco at the top. PSG are still in striking distance and outsiders Lyon are just 10 points back.

Italy
View attachment 40721
Harry Kane grabs his shooting boots at last and Milan go 1-2 and tied at the top. Lazio still in striking distance Juventus down to 7th tied with Lazio.

Europa League
View attachment 40720
Stuttgart knock out Lazio but the biggest loosers are perhaps Lyon who loose to Porto. Perhaps it will work in there favor as there title rivals are all still in Europe

March

Germany
View attachment 40719
Leipzig stretch there legs at the top while Stuttgart are the first team to fall out of the Champions League race, probably.

View attachment 40713
Busy on the manager front again as Hoffenhiem are the second team to change manager as they and Schalke announce there replacements for now! Bayern Munich also change manager something thats never good for the rest of us.

France
View attachment 40718
Bordeaux have a miracle month with the others faltering allowing Lyon to close right up while giving Bordeaux a 6 point advantage with 8 games to go.

Italy
View attachment 40717
Ac Milan take a small advantage over Inter. Lazio are also in the top 4 while that can all change with little or nothing between the top 7 with Sampdoria clinging on.

Champions League
View attachment 40716
Wolfsburg stun Atletico and a misrable round for the Spainish clubs see defending Champions Leipzig thrash Real Madrid. Leverksuen knock out Liams Monaco. Hampus gets a double KO with monopoly sides Bayern & Juventus knocking his teams out. Milan also fail to reach a home final loosing to Man City twice.

Europa League
View attachment 40715
A huge disapointment as Bordeaux are beat by French rivals Marseilles. Even more amazing is Hamburg beating Everton 6-0 on Agg. Stuttgart & Mainz's European runs also end here.

April

Germany
View attachment 40709
Another win or two will be enough for Lepzig to win a 2nd title as Dortmunds 3 years at the top are over as there now out of the title race. Ingolstadts collapse in the 2nd half in frightning

France
View attachment 40709
Bordeaux go 6 clear with 5 games to go. Could the chairman treble be on??? Toulouse and Nice are making a late charge for champions league but surly Europa League is the best they can do now?

Italy
View attachment 40703
This is the closest title fight going. Hampus 2 points back with Inter is all that can stop us now. Napoli catch Lazio and Juve are also on 60 points in the race for the final Champions League spot.

Champions League
View attachment 40702
If i said Liam would be the last team standing you might say fair enough! But if you were to hear it was Wolfsburg reaching the semi's you would be shocked but then to hear the beat Man Utd home & away! They join Man City and chairmen teams Juve & Bayern.

Europa League
View attachment 40701
Only 1/3 Chairmen teams survive here too and again its the unliklest of teams Hamburg that are in the semi's with Arsenal, Roma & Sevilla

May

Germany
View attachment 40700
Leipzig hold on to take the title with 77 points. A year where Mainz improved as did the mid table sides. If Mainz continue to improve & Wolfsburg & Stuttgart get big budgets next season could be even closer.

France
View attachment 40699
Bordeaux got from strength to strength finish just short of 100 points. Monaco clear in 2nd and Toulouse late season charge see them finish 4th getting Klopp the sack at Lyon.

Italy
View attachment 40698
Milans first Serie A title in 14 years completes the monopoly challenge. Inter also beat Juve and Lazio take the last Europa League spot thanks to Fiorentia's late season collapse.

Champions League
View attachment 40697
Wolfsburg you maniacs what you doing! go Get Juve in the final!

Europa League
View attachment 40696
Away goals got Wolfsburg into the final but its heartbreak for Dporter as Roma's away goal ends and amazing run.

National Cup finals

Germany
View attachment 40694
Leverkusen make sure they get a trophy out of season 8

France
Monaco 2-2 Bordeaux
View attachment 40693
It came down to penaltys but Bordeaux do the double.

Italy
View attachment 40692
Sassuolo failed in the league but a cup and champions league appearances in back to back seasons is some achievement.

Champions League Final
Juventus 2-3 Wolfsburg
View attachment 40691
Emilio Cruz on loan from Monaco single handedly bring Liam his first Champions League title. With Monaco also in his hand he could easily get a 2nd title next year.

End of Season 4 review
