Hey everyone, the transfer window is closed but I got some pretty tragic news about someone close to me today so the august/window update might come out a little later today or earlier tomorrow. Sorry for the delay, hope you understand!

Dont give the game a second thought. Leave it till your ready to deal with it. Real life comes first!

Those should be all the transfers for this window. Before I finish this post and put out the August update, a few things:

1. This window was very hard to deal with as some people were using wrong wage values, wrong transfer values and more. I've allowed everyone to make the transfers they wanted but stonecold for example, you had the wrong transfer values for Silva and Rugani (both are FGN transfers and the transfer fee should therefore be their value x2. The transfers where you had the wrong transfer values are in italics in the deals list). I feel like some people might have used the end of season 9 game save for transfers which could be the reason for these mistakes.

2. LiamCFC88, if I remember correctly in the rules, you can't choose any manager to replace your previous one (I believe international managers are off limits completely). Just like in my previous point, I've let your manager change happen anyway as it is my fault for not telling any of this earlier.

3. The wage part of the sample table I shared with you earlier should only be used for free transfers so I can see who should get the player (since free transfers are done through highest wage offer). For other transfers, the wage is just the wage that they have at their current club! This means that if a player at a club is being paid £15,000 a week, in the table for your offer for said player, please don't write £50,000 as it gets confusing!

4. Finally, I would really appreciate if you guys wrote the first names of the players in the transfer tables. There are a few players that I struggled to find as a result of having just the first letter of the first name of a player, so it would make my life a lot easier and make the updates come a lot quicker if you gave me the full name of the players!

Let me know if anything I said above is unclear and if some transfers are wrong! I know that LiamCFC88 for example wrote Wolfsburg for his Musonda loan deal but it was in his Lazio table, so I've sent the player to Lazio. As for the other player in Schelotto, he moved to Monaco already so I moved him to Wolfsburg as requested but under the monopoly transfer rule.

August update coming soon...

Some big transfers throughout Europe this summer with a couple teams losing some key players and some teams bringing in real quality. It's going to be a really interesting season for sure!

KillerRoo will have to get in touch if he wants me to replace Schmidt, who's been hired to replace Jardim at Roma.

League tables

View attachment 39105

Not much can be said about this first match day. Mainz lost, Dortmund drew and Schalke lost while Leverkusen, Leipzig and Hoffenheim have all had good starts to the season, with St. Pauli surprisingly in 3rd.

View attachment 39104
This is the most "telling" of all the league tables so far. Marseille have had a horrendous start to the season, PSG are having an absolutely nightmare and Lyon have struggled as well despite having Neymar in their side. Toulouse have won two games of 3 as the top of the table is incredibly tight despite Monaco and Bordeaux leading.

View attachment 39103
Again, nothing that telling about this table. The biggest shock will probably be to see the twice defending champions Milan in 19th after losing to Lazio in their opening game. Juventus also haven't had the best of starts as it seems that the riches and incredible players showing up at the chairman sides have really knocked PSG, Juve and Bayern off their pedestals!

View attachment 39102View attachment 39101
Some interesting groups in the Champions League. A couple look really similar to ones we saw last year, like Dortmund and Barcelona in the same group for example! Hampus will have two of his sides battling each other for a place in the next round, while Inter will be up against Atletico, Monaco against Man United, Leverkusen against Chelsea, Leipzig against PSG, Milan and Bordeaux against Real Madrid in a group of death and Fiorentina against Bayern and City in what is also a very strong group.

View attachment 39100View attachment 39099View attachment 39098
Lyon, Stuttgart, Napoli, Nice, Roma and Wolfsburg should have no problem getting out of their groups, while Rennes might struggle against Benfica and a decent Russian side in Krasnodar. Including the Champions League, we have 3 groups with 2 chairman teams from the same chairman in them, which is pretty unlikely and quite funny actually!

Leipzig lead the title race with Leverkusen and Bayern close behind. Stuttgart are having a pretty horrendous start while Dortmund are also struggling.

Monaco have the perfect start to the league while Marseille, Lyon and PSG all struggle. Bordeaux, Nice and Toulouse are now the usual teams following Monaco.

Despite their bad start to the season, Milan have turned it around and now find themselves top, once again. Sassuolo's amazing season seems like a distant memory as they find themselves in 15th. Juventus have a shocking start as well as they sit in 10th, with Napoli, Inter, Roma and Fiorentina the only challengers for Milan.

All looks good for Dortmund, Monaco, Leverkusen, Leipzig, Bordeaux and Inter so far as they all seem like they'll make it out of the group while Toulouse, Milan and Fiorentina are all at risk of getting knocked out already.

Not much to say about this first game in the Europa League, it should be interesting to see how things look in a month's time.

Still the same two leaders at the top of the league. Dortmund make a comeback and it's a rare appearance in the top 4 for Schalke, who'll be hoping they can stay in there for the long term.

The top four stays the same as PSG make a comeback. Marseille and Lyon still languish way below their expectations as Monaco are yet to draw or even lose a game.

Juventus are now the ones to make a comeback in the league, with Roma and Napoli falling behind. Inter also fall behind Juve while Fiorentina continue their impressive form sitting just behind Milan.

It's looking all set and done for Dortmund, Leverkusen, Leipzig and Bordeaux who lead their groups and should make it out to the next round. The same can be said for Monaco, while Toulouse and Milan should be going down to the Europa League. Fiorentina should be saying goodbye to Europe entirely while their Italian colleagues Inter could make it out as well.

Mainz are looking good in terms of getting out of the group, Rennes are also surprisingly doing well. Lyon look a lot better than in the league, same for Stuttgart. Roma, Wolfsburg, Nice and Napoli also look like favourites to get to the 1st knockout round.

Shock as Leverkusen fall down the table and we see Wolfsburg jump up the table to 2nd. Bayern have also done a great job and come back from further down the table. Leipzig lead but only by 2 points.

Still the same top 4 in France, Marseille and Lyon are all still down the table. PSG are doing well and Caen are the surprise package in the league.

Big shock in Italy as Fiorentina fall down to 5th, Juventus also fall down the table and Napoli jump up to 2nd! Lazio is right behind as well so it could be a really interesting season in Serie A.

Bordeaux, Monaco, Dortmund, Leverkusen, Inter, Leipzig are all through to the next round! Milan and Toulouse still have a chance to make it through and Inter are the leaders in their group to make it out but nothing is for certain. Fiorentina say goodbye to Europe and can now focus on the league.

Nice, Wolfsburg, Mainz, Rennes, Lyon, Stuttgart and Roma are all officially through. Napoli is the one chairman team not guaranteed out of the groups yet but but they look favourites to make it through.

Bayern surprise everyone by going top of the league. Leizpig were away for the FIFA Club World Cup and therefore have 2 games in hand. It's looking great for Dortmund, Schalke and Wolfsburg who are all very close to the top 3. This should be an insane second half of the season in Germany.

Monaco finally lose as the top 4 still stays the same in France. Rennes and Caen have done really well so far this season as it looks like the title will be fought between Bordeaux and Monaco. Toulouse and Nice will most likely fight for 3rd and 4th place. PSG fall down the table completely and find themselves in 9th, quite shockingly.

Napoli make up some ground on Milan, who are now just 4 points clear at the top of the league. While Milan are top though, any of Napoli, Lazio, Roma, Juventus, Fiorentina and Inter could go to 2nd with one right result. Absolutely crazy!

Toulouse and Milan will be going down to the Europa League while we saw goodbye to Fiorentina. It's a chairman showdown between Monaco and Dortmund while Leipzig face a tough opponent in Barcelona and Inter face Bayern. Bordeaux probably have the easiest route to a quarter-final.

Another chairman matchup between Mainz and Lyon which should be interesting. Milan face Spartak, Nice face Fenerbahce, Toulouse face Ajax, Wolfsburg face Besiktas, Roma face Benfica, Rennes face Villareal and Stuttgart face Zenit. Some very interesting matchups for sure and it should be interesting to see who goes through.

A good time to come back when Germany and Italy are both really close and all 3 of my teams have first choice when it comes to players in the transfer window as they all have money...

Transfers by club, in order of priority

Quick announcement: I've decided to get rid of wages in normal transfers or the transfer table since they're not actually useful for anything. It takes me more time to edit and more time for you to send in your offers when you have to put in the wage. From now on, wages will only be required for free transfers or pre-contracts since your wage offer for that player actually determines whether you get the player or not, whereas for normal transfer it doesn't.

Even more change to the table in Germany as Leverkusen slip down to 5th, allowing Dortmund and Wolfsburg to overtake them. Bayern are still battling with Leipzig for the title.

The top 4 in France looks like it'll never change as Lyon and Marseille climb back up the table slightly. The top 9 teams in France are now all made up of chairman teams except for PSG. Monaco clearly lead the title race with 15 games to go.

From 2nd to 5th, it's incredibly tight as former second place Napoli drop to 4th, with Juventus and Roma overtaking them. Lazio are right on Napoli's tail while Inter have fallen behind slightly, now sitting 4 points outside of the European places for next season.

Mainz and Inter both losing some very important players from their team. It's mostly arrivals for the chairman teams though who had a decent amount of money to spend. Bayern and Real Madrid have both responded though after losing some players this window by buying off chairman team players!

The top 2 looks set to stay the same until the end of the season, as Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, Dortmund, Stuttgart and Schalke will be fighting for Champions League and Europa League places.

The top 4 has finally changed as PSG and Toulouse drop off and allow Marseille to get up to 4th. Lyon stay right behind PSG as Rennes are also close behind.

Milan are still comfortable at the top of the league and look set for a 3rd league title in a row. Inter have absolutely bottled it and find themselves in 8th somehow. Napoli move up to 3rd, Lazio are right behind and Roma are just ahead.

It seems like only 2 or 3 chairman teams will be making it past the 1st round, with Inter effectively out. Bordeaux have a big chance of making it to the quarter-final, while Leipzig, Leverkusen and Monaco or Dortmund will have a tough time getting to the next round.

Nice, Toulouse, Milan, Napoli, Roma, Stuttgart, Wolfsburg and Lyon are all through to the quarter-final as we only say goodbye to Rennes and Mainz.

More changes to the top 5 in Germany as Leverkusen drop down to 5th, Wolfsburg are 3rd right behind Bayern and Dortmund are in 4th. Leipzig look like they might go on and win the title.

Monaco aren't running away with the title anymore as Bordeaux are closing in a little bit. Nice are very far behind but still sit in 3rd, impressively enough. Marseille have done really well to come back and sit in 4th, ahead of Toulouse and PSG close behind. It's going to be a very close end to the season in France.

Inter get back up to 7th after getting knocked out of the Champions League. Roma have a game in hand over Napoli and Lazio and could edge closer to Milan if they win. Just like in France and Germany, it's going to be a very close end to the season.

Dortmund stun Monaco as they make a comeback and go through to the next round! Leipzig are knocked out by Barcelona while Bordeaux easily beats CSKA and is the second chairman team in the next round.

Nice, Stuttgart and Milan are out as an impressive 5 teams out of 8 in the Europa League quarter-final are chairman controlled teams. Should be an interesting few ties in Europe now, especially the all-chairman tie between Toulouse and Roma.

Leipzig basically have the title wrapped up as Wolfsburg will most likely secure Champions League football just behind Bayern and ahead of Dortmund. Leverkusen and Stuttgart should be the two other German teams in European competitions next season but Schalke aren't far behind.

It looks all set and done in France as Monaco should go on and win the title. Bordeaux will finish either 1st or 2nd while Nice have a chance of a top 3 finish for the first time under chairman ownership. Toulouse are right behind though and could ****** up 4th place from Marseille who had been so good to this point. Rennes and Lyon aren't too far from PSG, who are having a shocking season by their standards.

Napoli come right back to 2nd in a crazy end of the season in Italy. Inter are back down in 8th despite not having European football to play anymore, while Roma could go back up to 2nd if they win their game in hand. Juventus are in 5th, a shocking performance by their standards as well.

Dortmund destroy Manchester United and impress as they make it to the Champions League semi-final! Bordeaux narrowly miss out after losing to Manchester City, who are the ones facing the last remaining chairman team in the Champions League. With the odds against him, can Hampus take his Dortmund side to the Champions League final?!

Lyon shock everyone and knock out Juventus, as 3 of our last 5 chairman teams in the Europa League make it through to the semi-final! A tough chairman tie between Napoli and Toulouse will be the highlight of the semi-final as Lyon get another huge opponent after Juventus in Liverpool.

Huge shock as Wolfsburg finish in 2nd ahead of Bayern for the first time since the start of the chairman game! Leverkusen, Schalke and Stuttgart all get Europa League spots in what has been an overall disappointing campaign for Leverkusen. Bayern win the DFB-Pokal ahead of... Leverkusen (sigh...).

Monaco win the league comfortably and get over 100 points, a first for a chairman team in this chairman game! PSG finish in 7th as Lyon overtook them in the last few games of the season. Marseille are the last team to get a Europa League spot while Toulouse, Nice and Bordeaux get Champions League spots. Fair to say the monopoly might not be PSG's in France anymore though as Monaco get to both domestic cup finals, winning one against Nice and losing the other against Marseille...

Juventus make a pretty incredible comeback and finish in 2nd in the league just behind Milan, who win their 3rd successive Serie A title. Juventus win the TIM Cup by beating Napoli in the final, my 3rd chairman team losing a cup final this season... On top of that, Napoli who looked so promising in 2nd place end up finishing in 4th and go to the Europa League yet again. Roma finish in 3rd and get the last CL spot for next season.

Dortmund win the Champions League!!! Against all odds, the last chairman team left in the CL go on and win the whole thing as German football rules Europe once again.
Toulouse just about knock out Napoli on away goals and so narrowly miss out on a first ever Europa League title as England rules in the Europa League once again! The last now 3 winners were all from the Premier League, much like the last 4 winners of the Champions League are from the Bundesliga. Absolutely crazy.

£340m! No doubt Man City have been donating again!

Also PSG's 5 year transfer embargo end on July the 2nd so look out for them spending some of there £550m balance

Wow I had no idea they had an embargo, explains why they've been performing badly for the last few seasons! And yes, I had to look over your balance a couple times before writing down £340 million hahaha

Yeah we agreed that PSG had too much clout and would be unbeatable so a 5 year embargo was put on them so everyone could close the gap on them. Wasnt dont with Bayern or Juventus as they were realistic targets

With time away from running the game i've posted this in the OP. A review on how we've done so far in the major competitions

My notes
Myself, Hampus and Linecoigne took advantage of our draw in Germany to form the strongest dynastys. Liam is up there with Wolfsburg quietly collecting the gold and Monaco being a powerhouse in France. Killeroo! Schalke's faithful may never forgive you! Bcfc1 has overachieved with a cup with Mainz & Marseille while getting his second monopoly win in France. If only Mainz could hold onto a player

So except you own teams who do you all worry about for the future? for me its a French side. Every year Toulouse gets that little bit stronger!

I'm a little worried about Wolfsburg in Germany tbh! With Bayern making a comeback, Leipzig being a great side and Dortmund also a good team, this puts my ageing Leverkusen side down in the Europa League...

Hey guys, I'm going to bow out. Work has been a nightmare and I haven't been able to keep up. Thank you all for giving me my first taste of a Chairman game, has been great, even though I've won nowt. Look forward to joining one on the new game, good luck for the rest for you!

Shame to see you go mate, you did a pretty great job with Rennes and Sassuolo! Hope to see you for a new chairman game in FM19 whether stonecold or me or anyone else starts one :)
