Business magnate Chef Boyardee has bought Udinese Calcio with immediate effect. His motives to buy Udinese are mainly due to the fact that he has dominated the food market for far too long and wants a new business venture. Being a massive football fan, he saw an opportunity in purchasing Udinese Calcio. The club currently find themselves in 10th position under the leadership of Gerardo "Tata" Martino. Boyardee has announced that he is pleased with Martino's work and will keep him at the helm. He has also outlined that he does not want to sell many players of the current squad, as Boyardee does not want to disrupt stability in the dressing room, but there are a few players he would like to see out the door. They are:

Instead Massimo Carrera has joined the club from Spartak Moscow, having been linked with the managerial position since the previous chairman was in charge.

His squad has been strengthened by 3 key loan signings. First is Joe Gomez, a player needed at right back as Atalanta have an abundance of mediocre right backs at the club.

Next is midfielder Renato Sanches. With Carrera favouring a 4-2-3-1 he will surely be the first choice as one of the two central midfield players.

The final signing is Florinel Coman from Inter Milan. Atalanta attempted to purchase him in the summer and maybe would not be in such a dire position if the Romanian striker had been at the club for the first half of the season.

With a potential front four of Coman, Everton, Alejandro Gomez and Josip Ilicic, with Renato Sanches playing behind them, surely… surely Atalanta will climb up the table.
