Mr Langvatn FM16 Tactic Center

Well, i did a few games with 442 Heavy Metal. The tactic is nowhere near fluid, and i've got this results, one of them against the team (Porto) to who i lost 1-3 and always make my life miserable.

First game was against Belenenses...

Can't consider this a test, but I believe i've found the one :)
I'll do some more and later i'll post some more results.

Hi Mr Langvatn, great work on the tactics. Sorry this has already been asked several times, but can you point me in the direction of your OIs, specifically for the 4-4-1-1?

Considering how the tactic works (direct counter-attacking play), it should perform better away than at home. But don't know for sure before I have tested properly :) But I did get a VERY good feeling about it. It reminds of of the 4-4-2 tripletweak tactic from FM13 :)

I haven't implemented OI's in any my tactics.

I'm still working on improving it a little bit before running the final test :)
 
Well... compared with the original tactic (4-5-1) this is an upgrade, so... im proud of it xD It was my first post in this forum.

Building on the heavy metal football: 4-4-2

This will be the next creation of mine that will be run through the test (tonight probably)

Feel free to try it meanwhile!

Will try it out. Could you see changing the role of one of the striker and on of the DM´s to another role Adv forward, poacher, target men? BWM, CDM defend etc?

It hasn't even been released yet, so I haven't tried all options :) It's under progress still :) You can try different options, suddenly you find something better! :)
 
Am i the only one struggling to get any of these tactic working? It's not your tactics Mr L, but all tactics in fm16. Some win 1 or 2 games and then you get absolutely pumped.

I test in a database where I remove much of the randomness. Consitency on all players set to 20, Injury proneness set to 1, removed PPM's, etc etc etc.
 
I know, and i'm not criticizing you or your hard work, i'm just getting frustrated.
 
No i don't as i give up after 20 games every time. I've tried the 3-4-3 and your 4-4-1-1. with the 3-4-3 i won a champions league qualifier (as Celtic) away 7-1 then went to play Partick Thistle away, who are predicted to finish last, and got beat 4-1.

Not just you mate, Having hard time on the touch mode!

Well, there are always going to be bad results in the first season. Even in the test, I had some nasty losses with the 3-4-3. But you have to look at the average over a season, not singular matches. FM is way too random for that. (It was less random before, because of the sliders).

SI and Miles like every year release game when is not ready and then problems hapen.

I created tactic and I won title with Leicester and Sociedad and still I am not hapy with amount of stupid goals what I receive.

curent match engine is disaster but on SI forum everthing is exelent because they dont care what we think and if you post something bad you dont know how to play.

playing this type of game more then 15 years I know what I am saying,

curent match engine is **** it is not problem that game is hard I want that is even harder but I dont acept stupid goal and stupid errors.

how to explain casual players that all tactics are like Rusian rulet and everthing is posible

Only FM13 was stable. After that, it has been quite random every year. But that's due to the lack of options in tactic creation now. We get less and less options every year = more and more randomness. Less things we can control...
