Man Management as a whole is important. The way you handle make sure you are demanding of the correct kind of players, more lenient with some personalities, the way you praise players when they have done something really good and how you let them know when they are not performing, showing faith when needed, how you make sure morale is high etc etc.

I've set up all the roles just like you recommend, however all my players have "heavy workloads". I double checked all setting, but i can't figure it out why i am getting different result out of it.

DO you think it may be the quality of the coaches?

Not as good as last season, but good enough for this little team. Our best result was the victory against Sporting, in Portugal and with 10 men.

are you checking the workload as soon as you set up the training? There is a bug that shows training workloads wrong. If you set the training like I said, then forward the game a few days, then check workload again, it should show correctly. You have general training on low?

You could upload your save game and I can check if you want, see if I can see what it is.

1st season in the premiership, managed to finished 11th with a bad team and poor wage/transfer budget.

Just a quick update on my Derby save. After winning the prem in season 2 and my first season in the prem, I was able to sign a few better but not amazing players. To cut a long story short, I again won the prem which again went down to the final game of the season and I managed 5 more points than the previous season. I also won the league cup and community shield. I got knocked out of the QF of the champions league by 1 goal, to Bayern Munich.

Current season, season 3 in the premier league and managed to sign some big players. I am 28 games into the season and 14 points clear in the league and already scored 5 more goals than I did in the whole of my first title season in the top flight. I have won the league cup and community shield, I am in the FA Cup QF and the Champions League QF with ease so far.

So after Testing with Husqvarna, Oxford City, Crewe, Derby and Derby with world class players, I can safely say this tactic performs brilliantly at any level. I have won the league every season with every team I have tried it with so far. I admit I needed some luck to win the league with Derby first 2 seasons in the prem, but I had a championship quality team the first season and the second I would say my team was about the standard that Swansea is at the start of the game.

Best tactic on fm13 bar none! And I have tried them all.

nice seasons so far Rich_genie. i am into my second season with Blyth Spartans. 1st of BSN and in 4rd round of FA cup.. Just played 1-1 aganist EVERTON ! and it was an away game! Hope we will manage to defeat them at home . So far this tactic is brilliant! I really love the teamplay producing by all the midfielders. Still this season my striker is topscorer scores allsmost 1 on 1 Will post some screens tonight

By the way, because I have teamwork set in pre season, rather than tactics only, it is advisable to load the tactic into all 3 slots to train it. This makes the familiarity go up faster. It's also handy to have a good tactical coach, as I think this helps as well.
