Wow! Just Wow!
Just completed my first season with Napoli and won the Quadruple!
Operated with a very small squad and only brought in 3 signings.

Here are a few screen shots of my season, big thanks to Mr L, loved this tactic and made my save very enjoyable.
To those of you trying to start an argument about the tactic, grow up and just be happy that there is such a consistent tactic available to download on this site. Well done again Mr L on your creation. :)

If you inspect the individual settings, you can clearly see that the rock classic is different from the other tactics. And I stated on the front page for weeks that it has inspiration from the 3-1-5-1 amem. the 3-1-5-1 was a good tactic in player versus player in my testing, but it didn't perform well against the computer. So I used the things I liked from it, and made a new tactic. But all tactics working good this patch has the same team settings, high tempo, narrow, etc. Your 4-4-2 Gonzo is based on modern warfare. But wtf, who cares if some tactics are similar. There is still vital differences between the performances of the tactics.

Btw, if you check all the popular tactics, they are all inspirated by some other tactic. The difference between "inspiration" and "tweak" is huge...

And I bet you're just "angry" because your modern warfare tweak "Gonzo11 Godfather something" didn't do well in my test..

Gonzo, Mr L has actually made a lot of his own tactics, so where you getting create your own tactic from, you muppet

Thanks for your post. I totally agree with you on the argument thingy. We tactic creators don't make any money on this stuff, we purely do this FOR the users of FM-base....... I have a 4 months old kid, and all my spare time goes into making/exploring tactics in FM to keep the users updated whenever a new patch comes out etc. Not to mention all the time it takes to respond to thousands of replies and inbox messages about both tactic related questions and general game questions. I always try to help everybody with everything. But if there will be too much whining, I will quit making them really, but I guess I would let down a lot of FM-base users then.

Enough of the bantering and blaming etc.

I will close this thread for a few hours until this have cooled down as things always, always escalate, especially the later the night gets :D

When the thread is re-opened, infractions will be handed out to those abusing other members.

If anyone has a problem with any tactic being copied and unfairly claimed as their own, please contact a moderator instead ( anyone but me as I am and will be in a slightly bad mood for a few days)

Lost 2nd leg 1-0 but still through to the Quarter Finals were I face Roma

Career so far using Rock Classic:

2013: Champions League Group Stage
2014: Champions League Group Stage
2015: Europa League Semi Final
2016: Europa League Quarter Final
 
Another hearty thank-you to Mr. L. I shudder to think at how much the United side cost to assemble but it only took my kids 90 minutes to take apart.

For that Shaktar result is was team cohesion/tactics only because the Irish league is at preseason that time of the year but usually it is just balanced/average/30%/defensive positioning
 
Sometimes when I have a game for which I don't need to worry about defending--that is, when I'm playing a non-threatening team--I focus on Att. Set Pieces. My DCR has picked up a few hat-tricks that way.
