Mr Langvatn's Tactic Thread (Updated for 13.3.3)

Do you have a TC version?

Sorry, but I'm always working in classic. Usually after a while, someone uploads a TC version though, and I can upload it to the front page. TC will not be as good as the classic one though, but pretty close, usually.

The Rock and Sicilian Defence seem to work even with other match prep than the suggested and also in combination with other tactics:

Velez - expected to come 7th - In Feb leading by 6 points (4 defeats - at least one of which was not the fault of the tactics). Comfortably in all the cups as well.
El Ahly - expected to come 3rd - In Feb leading by 3 points. Knocked out of one of two cups. 4 defeats and some draws. Not the fault of tactics but of squad size bearing in mind the many competitios.

But the tactics are so good that its all a bit boring as plug and play means plug and do nothing ....

Has anyone else noticed that The Rock tends not to work in cup matches as well as it does in league matches resulting in extra time/defeats to lesser teams?

I wouldn't say one is the best one really. But the Rock Classic is the most approved one. However, I think I now have four tactics that are all extremely good. 4-1-4-1 Rock Classic, 2-5-3 Angels V2, 3-6-1 Sicilian Defense and now the 4-1-3-2 Queen's Gambit!

thanks m8 ill have a play with them :)

FFS another tactic lol That no doubt means 50 pages of questions that have been answered a hundred times or can be found by simply reading the first page :P

can u post screen shot of the formation of your new tactic mate?

also is it worth using it now or waiting till uve fully approved of it :)

What is the preparation and training to use for the new tactic?

This is a thread about the tactic. Match prep and training have absolutely no effect on how good a tactic is. Match prep is used depending on what opponent you are facing and weather you want an extra edge in a certain area of your team to counter a specific strength or weakness in a team you are about to face, team and individual training again does not effect the tactic you are using, training improves players attributes and so if you have a player that is going to play as an attacking player but has poor attributes then train his attacking attributes, likewise if a player is poor defensively but you want him to play a defensive position then train his defensive attributes.

Seriously, there is nearly 4000 posts on this thread and half of them are about stuff that is either in the very first post or has nothing to do with the tactic.

Anyone wanting to know about match prep, training etc should go here, it is very interesting and full of the information you need. You should not be basing your training on a tactic, it is a different part of the game.

I would suggest MR L puts this link in the opening post so people don't have to keep asking and MR L doesn't have to repeat the same answer over and over.

In gambit tactic CM in the middle is cm like support more def atrribute?Right and left cm ffull ofensive?

I've tried gambit tactic. It's attacking is a fantastic but I concede a goal or goals every match. Even so it can be the best tactic, I will continue testing. Thank you sharing because it conforms completely my team's system. Edit: My training Balanced-High and Att.Movement.Do you have any advice?

Sorry, I don't know taking ss but my team is Galatasaray and Galatasaray's coach Fatih Terim prefers 4-1-3-2 in real life so the tactic conforms my team and line up:Fernando Muslera-Emmanuel Eboue-Aurelien Chedjou-Semih Kaya-Albert Riera-Felipe Melo-Hamit Altintop-Wesley Sneijder-Selçuk Inan-Didier Drogba-Burak Yilmaz-- I suggest Galatasaray for this tactic.

May just be being really stupid here but how come I can't seem to import the tactics? When I press "import" it just says "file cannot be imported" - big fan of your tactics too

hopefully someone can upload tc version pretty quickly because im looking forward to trying the new 4-1-3-2

They should be like the CM's in the rock. Strong, hard-working, finishing is a plus too.

same as the rock yeah :)

It's because you are playing FMC, and classic tactics don't work in FMC.

anyone know of any premiership teams (preferably not the top 1s) that fit the new tactic?
