Rather ask mr. ML, if you can make a new thread with tweaks...like herne did with sean arrigo sacchi 4-4-2.

Jassar, you can of course make a new thread for the tweak, no problem :)
 
Tbh there was nothing wrong with the original tactic

Used it in my net game as Swansea 75% of the time, especially against the top teams and in Europa league

Won the league, fa cup & Europa league

Tactic is both solid defensively and attacking in my opinion

Only thing I changed was the set pieces to I know what works for me

Yeah, and I doubt that the tweak is stronger overall. I think it is meant to be an attacking alternative for top teams. I know for sure that it won't work as good with underdogs as the original, cause there is no way in this game to make AML/AMR work well defensively.

Hey. Been using the Rock Classic and just cannot get it to work for me at all. I have it fluid in all areas, but have now gone 9 games without a win and at least 7 times so far this season (out of 24 games), I have gone 2-0 and then been pegged back instantly to 2-2.

Granted my squad isn't the best (playing as Portsmouth season 1), but I've read people who can get this to work with all manner of poor squads and teams. I just don't get it. I don't wanna be so negative because clearly a lot of people are having success with it, but for me, it's been really bad so far :/

Mr langvatn. Using your tactic with multiple teams and always highly successful. So thank you for all your effort.

Just a few questions:

I have a regen dc, solid stats but also with passing, decisions etc. so also a bpd. Would it be a good idea to make him do through balls? I've tried it and seems to work , but maybe you experimented with this already ;)

I have two regen box to box midfielders, they also have good long shots 15+ . Good idea to put long shots to sometimes? I've noticed they are in position quite a lot to score like that.

I'm using the rock classic.

Of course, you can make such changes to fit your team better :) As in real life, you need to let your players use their strengths :)
 
How important is pace and/or acceleration for the central defenders? I'm seeing a lot of long passes in the back of my defence lately :-(

It's quite important, yeah, because all my tactics have a quite high defensive line/mentality.

by the way, i managing Brazil nation now, and unfortunetly Rock isn't working with them at all, i don't know why ;o.
