Mr Langvatn's Tactic Thread (Updated for 13.3.3)

Great start to my Cardiff save :) Using the 4-5-1 Tripletweak. Off to bed now, cya folks!

I hope you are using FMRTE to heal your team every match then, so you rule out getting different starting 11's from test to test.
 
okay i have one stupid question...i know difference btwn TC tactic and non-TC is that, the TC version does not have arrows, am i correct ? so can i use the one w arrows tactic (non-TC) on normal FM ? (not the classic mode)

Hey Mr Langvatn; Ive got something going here i believe... much more matches to complete but a very decent start and really solid defensive... Done some thinking while i was at work and put it to the test now... if it continues this way i may have to send it to you.. =)

It uses your structure as a base.. although ive done some major changes. By the looks of the formation, it's a 4321.. but the secret lies with in the RFD's and CF.. the formation transforms to a 451 while the game goes on (as i have seen in the analysis tool). It's a pretty sick idea.. but if it actually continues to work this way.. this might be a really good one.


Edit: And now i won 1-0 away to Chelsea :) This might be some sort of exploit.. barely concedes goals so far. Original squad too.. first season... Hope it continues. Ill keep in touch with you.

Wow! That's impressive, what tactic was that? Btw, which is the current most recommended 4231 tactics so far? As I hav a few playmaker but they seem not to have any use I my team.

It's a new one (not yet released) im working on. I have to try it out and if it works this good ill speak with Mr L :)

Well. I want to make it perfect first. I have to make sure it's not just an coincidence. Trying different settings atm, regarding defensive line. If i went to upload it now ppl would ask me 10000 questions about what type of players etc. Want it to be 100% accurate before uploading it.. hope you understand :)


Edit: And now i won against City away... this is starting to become insane :D

It's not often I post on here but just had to pass on my thanks for the creation of the 4-1-4-1 Rock Classic. Not just the best tactic I've come across for FM13, but probably the best tactic I've used throughout my experience of the FM series. Started off a game as manager of the Northern Ireland national side which brought with it a double over Portugal in the World Cup qualifying group and first place in the group itself. Norwich City then came calling, relegated from the previous Premier League season. Most of the current squad (been using LFCMarshall update) intact with a couple of signings made by the previous manager. We steamrolled the league with a league record of W41, D3, L2! So far the step-up has been a little tougher understandably but after 15 games we're in the top 6 which is very satisfying! Amazing tactic that has restored my enjoyment in the game!

I thought the one with arrows is only suitable for FMC, but since you explained like this, so from what i understd, (final confirmation), tactic w arrows is suitable for both normal mode and FMC ? is that correct ?

Tactics with arrows can be used in normal (career) mode only, tactics made with the tactic creator, the ones without arrows and with player roles can be used in both.
