Transfers In​

We splashed out on two big signings and we got a great goalkeeper, surprisingly cheaply. In doing this, we strengthened the Goalkeeper, Centre Back and Attacking Midfielder positions. We also secured a young startlet of a striker from Athletic. It was an exciting summer for the Toon Army!

Nicolas Otamendi- £19,000,000- Nicolas is one **** of a centre back and while looking for my ideal signing I came across him for the first time. When I got the scout report in, I was dismayed to find that Atletico Madrid were not going to sell him for any price. In a last ditched attempt I went to make a £30,000,000 offer when I saw a glorious release clause. From then on, I had my man. Nicolas has started strongly and looks like he'll adapt well!

Otamendi is said to be looking forward to the challenge of English football and Hughton thinks he'll fit right in!

Alan Dzagoev- £27,000,000- Alan joined from CSKA and I am desperate for him to live up to his huge transfer fee. There was a noticeable weakness in that position and I was only to happy to snap him up. We beat off competition from Barcelona, Man City and Chelsea but we secured his signature in the end. He will provide a cracking long shot and incredible passing to the side!

Alan will be a key player this season and was one of our most expensive signings in my time at Newcastle. He has a lot to live up to!

Oscar Ustari- £5,250,000- Another unexpected release clause meant that I took no time in snapping up the super Argentinian Goalkeeper. I knew that I needed a better keeper than Forster and Oscar is the man who should provide the goods. Getafe were stupid in setting the clause so low, so we pounced and he has made a bight start to his Magpies career!

Ustari is a star Goalkeeper and he is looking to make his mark on English football. Newcastle is the best place to do that!

Asier Susueta is a young striker with a lot to prove. He was very cheap for his age and is determined to break into the first team!

Great transfers mate, and especially Otamendi. He always ends up being a world-f******-class defender in my games :p

Some great signings there pal :P I see you got Otamendi for £19 million, shows how good he becomes really when you can pick him up at the start. He has beenepic for my West Ham this season and when I bought him I did not even expect him to break the first team and when he got a chance he took it. Dzagoev and Ustari should also be great for you, great price for Ustari, will have to check that out! Kepp it up pal!

Hey Chris,I reinstalled my game because of a virus and signed Djalo but he is not at all performing to expectations.. :( I am using Hough's wonder tactics but still he rarely scores.Am I playing him wrong?
Please suggest a proper role for him
 
Advanced forward, attack. Play him in the centre.
 
Ok thanks Chris,oh and btw I signed Henri Camara who is doing awesome!!! I sold Jonas but this has angered Colo and hes requesting transfer.I plainly rejected lol :) :)

Chris, I did what you said.... started playing Djalo as advanced fwd and in the centre but still his goal drought continues!!! He has scored only 1 in 6 games! In 1 game I substituted him at half time and brought Tafer in and he scored 2! What is the problem here? Are my other 2 strikers not co-operationg? Please suggest a way out of this!

No idea about Djalo mate. Just keep trying I suppose.
 
Ok.. which 3 strikers should I play?
Carroll,Djalo,Tafer,Ameobi,Lovenkrands or Camara?
