Watford Come Close Against Anxious Newcastle!
Watford 0-1 Newcastle (Rossi)
Newcastle United did not impress on the first day of the season and we very fortunate to get away with all three points. Watford dominated throughout the game but finishing was poor. Rossi slipped in a shot, two minutes into Added Time in the First Half after an impressive Bouzanis saved Dzagoev's powerful effort. Rossi looked like he would answer the critics but his finishing was diabolical for the remainder of the match. Ustari kept Newcastle in the game in which Watford gave a very strong account of themselves as a Premier League side. Newcastle will not get away with the sort of performances against stronger teams.
Rossi scored the only goal of the game but his finishing was still questionable.

Newcastle Secure 3 Points in Style!
Burnley 0-3 Newcastle (Shawcross (2), Verratti)
A much more inspired performance from Newcastle led to an expected heavy beating of lacklustre Burnley. Ryan Shawcross took the plaudits. Keirrison missed a penalty on 12 minutes but fortunately, Ryan Shawcross gave us the lead on 44 minutes through a strong header off a Verratti corner. It took until 83 minutes for him to score his 2nd, another Verratti corner headed home. Verratti scored a fine 35 yard Free-Kick for himself on 88 minutes, in a game in which Newcastle truly showed their title credentials. Shawcross has been one of the best so far and with performances like this, he could soon be the best in the world!

Shawcross has been on stunning form for the Magpies and shows no sign of stopping!

Newcastle Disappoint Against EastEnders!
Newcastle 1-1 West Ham (Pacheco)
Today was not a game to remember for the Toon Army fans after watching their side come to close to losing against a bright West Ham side. Mark Noble gave West Ham the lead on 31 minutes from the penalty spot after Dzagoev hacked down Julien Faubert. Newcastle pressurised for the rest of the game and in the 92nd minute, it paid off through wonderkid Daniel Pacheco. From a Ramires pass, he turned past two West Ham defenders to poke the ball past a helpless Robert Green. There was relief for the Newcastle fans but many were annoyed at the team's failure to turn up.

Pacheco is something of a prospect at Newcastle and he proved that with a last gasp equaliser!

Newcastle Bite Back Against Gunners!
Newcastle 1-0 Arsenal (Keirrison)
Keirrison scored an early goal to give Newcastle a fine win over Wenger's Arsenal and send them back to the top of the table! After Marco Verratti played a fine through ball, Keirrison pounced, and with a first time effort, smashed the ball past a helpless Matamala and into the top corner. The goal literally shook. It was his first goal of the season and Newcastle will be hoping that he can recapture his form of the previous 2 seasons. Nordtveit was sent off for Arsenal in the 70th minute and Arsenal's attempt to come back was as good as over! Wenger was bemoaning a disallowed goal from Van Persire but it was a deserved win for an inconsistent Newcastle of late.
Keirrison's goal kept up Newcastle's unbeaten form in what was a simple game for the Tynesider's.

Player of the Month
There was a tough fight between Ryan Shawcross and Marco Verratti but Marco just about come's out on top. The Attacking Midfielder has been in top form of late and has scored 3 goals and bagged 3 assists in all competitions. Without Verratti, our attacking force would have been useless due to poor finishing. He is the man we rely on for our goals at the moment and he doesn't let us down! A superb player for any team!
Verratti has been Newcastle's light and has also won Young Player of the Month!

The table after six games, I have played one more after the update!

Thanks Nick. ^^)

Really appreciated. :D

Cheers you two. :D

Glad you like it. :P

Newcastle Domination Pays Off!

West Brom 0-1 Newcastle (Cole)
Newcastle United grabbed a deserved win in what was their 3rd 1-0 win off the season. Youngster Tom Cole scored on his debut in the 71st minute with a placed shot. Just moments before, Sandro had been dismissed for a poor challenge so it was a surprise when the hot prospect found the net. Hughton fielded an almost reserve team, only including Shawcross, Sandro and Ustari from the first team. It paid off and Newcastle were impressive at the Hawthorns. Hughton said: "It was great to see my younger players do so well in a game where a draw is expected. I had to test them at the highest level and they showed a lot of grit and determination!"

Ustari was just one of three first team players fielded against West Brom!

Rossi Shines as Newcastle Defeat Germans!
Newcastle 4-1 Hertha BSC (Rossi (3), Susaeta)
Newcastle United's first Champions League game in Group F, was a memorable one and Rossi shone, scoring a hat-trick and carrying on his good form in Continental and Cup competitions. Asier Susaeta scored the first goal early on when a Rossi pass fed him through for an easy goal. Rossi scored his first on 27 minutes, slipping in the ball from a tight angle. He grabbed another on the stroke of half time with an amazing 30 yard strike that curled into the top corner! He took his hat-trick well on 47 minutes, sprinting into the area before tucking away the goal. Hertha scored a penalty soon after but Newcastle got a valuable 3 points!

Rossi celebrates a magnificent hat-trick in the Champions League!

Newcastle Stun Chelsea as Run Goes On
Newcastle 2-1 Chelsea (Keirrison, Cole)
Tom Cole is turning into quite a hero on Tyneside as he scored a second winning goal in two games. Keirrison scored the first of the game early on when he took the ball on his chest and curled a strike home from 30 yards. It would later win Goal of the Month! Castaignos scored Chelsea's equaliser on 70 minutes and all looked lost. But it was hero Tom Cole who scored on 90 minutes. Diego Velez whipped in a fine cross and Cole connected with the header beautifully, turning the ball home. St. James Park went wild and Cole looks like he'll be quite a star!

Keirrison scored the Goal of the Month to help Newcastle to a fine victory over Chelsea!

Magpies Unimpressive Against Peterborough

Peterborough 1-2 Newcastle (Rossi (2))
Newcastle are yet to win the Carling Cup and if they perform like this, they won't be winning it anytime soon. Peterborough took the lead in the fifth minute when Steven Taylor fouled McDonald in the area. Barnard stepped up and finished nicely. Fortunately, Rossi was on form again and when Ramires slipped the ball into the area, he pounced and slid the ball home. He finished off the game in the 60th minute with another poacher's effort from a Keirrison pass. A beautiful goal, from the in-form striker.
Rossi has failed to capture his Cup and Continental form in the League.

Newcastle Edge Tight Forest Game!

Newcastle 2-1 Nottingham Forest (Otamendi, Ramires)
It took a good performance to see of Forest today and it could have been more if not for two controversially disallowed goals. Rossi scored in the 20th minute but his goal was ruled offside. Keirrison also scored soon after but he was adjudged to have pushed a Forest defender. Newcastle finally took the lead in the 44th minute after Otamendi scored a fine header from point blank range. His first ever for the club. Max Noble scored in the 90th minute and it looked like it was going to end as a draw until Keirrison slipped a ball through to Ramires and he whacked the ball home! What a game!
Ramires scored his first of the season to send the Geordie crowd wild!

Player of the Month
A very tough decision as it could have gone to any of Ramires, Cole and Rossi but it won't be Rossi due to lack of form in the league. The award goes to Cole for the vital goals he has scored this month. He has scored winners against West Brom and look like he will continue to get better and better. He is just 17 years of age and has also been in great form for the reserves where he has scored 4 goals in just 3 matches. He has replaced the injured Gignac and Keirrison superbly and I could not have asked for more from the lad!
We just about stay top of the table but anyone could win it at the moment.

Dude..your story just keeps getting better and better....
This is surely the 'template' for my sheffield utd story from now on :)

Thanks mate. ^^)

Glad you like it. :D
